I asked my little sister: "What does it look like he is doing?" She said: "He looks like he is out of his mind." She could not have said it better. You were out of your mind... you were in your body!
Two years later...this is the video that changed my life of training-forever. This led to a workshop, which led to a complete change in training (physically, and psychologically). Ido, you are the BEST in what you do- the marriage of strength and dynamic organic movement has never been so beautifully displayed as in this clip- still inspires, still motivates...now, after all this time the appreciation of the technical elements flow together with true understanding- Abundant Respects, Atlas
@THEBODYPRACTICE Brother! Indeed, this clip has changed my life as well. It is in the heart of my journey and has started it all. Thankfully, along the way, I have found many new friends from which I had the pleasure to share some of the small body of knowledge I was lucky to accumulate over the years. People like you - from which I learn as well as I teach for I am a student first and a teacher second. "Sou disciplo que aprendo, Sou mestre que dou lição". Thank you for your kindness!
It never ceases to amaze me what the human body is capable of. But first comes strength of will, without that nothing happens. Very, very impressive, mate
I see 35 people don't appreciate human performance, I have always like human performance like gymnastics or martial arts, and plus professional sports. When the human body is properly trained it is amazing what ones body can do.
THIS IS HONESTLY THE BEST MOVMENT I HAVE EVER FOUND ON RUclips. WONDERFULL. POWER. CONTROL. FLUIDITY. INDIVIDUALITY. AMAZING. just thought i'd put that out there :p PEACE
it almost like a magic trick - doesn't look possible - but it is! i love how there such strong moves but you have this grace and fluid motions, just fantastic!
vocês são feras!!!... You are the best!!!... I love capoeira and practice it since my childhood, but I've never seen anything like what you do... again... you're the best!!!...
i love your work Ido, particularly the locomotion research. Just wanted to say though about your paintings in this room. Three of the most solid respectable men i can think of....good choice on the art.
@micikas this is called capoeira there are two main styles, angola which is usually lower to the ground and slower paced, and regional which is more faster and more on your feet and a little more formal. this here is most likely angola
wow Ido, that was great..i'm really impressed..your moves, strenght and self control, everything is amazing..i'm from croatia, i train in grupo jacobina arte, and i must say that until i saw this video my idol was professor Mulejo, but now it's you man..YOU ARE GREAT..axe!
wow thanx for putting up that brother, ive been breaking for 3 years, and your vid makes me want to get better and better, thanx for being an inspiration
Ahalan Ido, my name is Yoav Oren and I am Yuval Ayalon's cousin. Just wanted to to tell you that I really enjoyed your klip. Your movement is fluent and inspiring. Keep up the good work!
totally reminds me of parts of my routine in my youth as break dancer. I've yet to read/ hear from the horses mouth of the breakers from back in the day IF they took moves from capoeira. Great form and control, brother...if I was 20 years younger i could give you a run fer ya money though! heh heh. I am now inspired to get fit again after being reminded of the shapes i used to be able to make. *places right fist on open left palm and bows*
To be more precise - the music is 'Triste Bahia' from the album 'Transa' :-) I had some problems, because there isn't any song called 'Vive Bahia'. But finally I found it :-)
that's some mad skills you got man. your moves are so smooth and nice. if your game is half as nice as your acrobatics then you have great grame. how come there's so many skilled capoeiristas from israel? peace
Wow , you are really really good. Erm , I wondered if you could make a tutorial on how to do a meia lua walkover ( meia lua reversao ). I can't seem to find a good tutorial for it anywhere.
@IVxArmando While it's true some elements are similar.. no movements were actually 'taken' or 'borrowed', it just so happens that many movements and freezes have the same concept and/or execution. Although it would be naive to say that having skill in either b-boying or capoeira would carryover into the other. I'm a b-boy myself, using gymnastics conditioning to supplement and have tremendous respect for capoeira and its practitioners.
cara ..que tecnica vc comecou para fazer tudo isso.sera possivel vc me dizer algo para eu treinar e desenvolver assim ..muito obrigado por postar o video magnifico.vc e realmente muito bom..fenomenal.
@micikas yeah its a really good martial art thats disguised as dance the history of it is amazing, basically slaves from africa were brought to brazil to work and in order to hide their martial art they hid it in a dance to prevent from being discovered, but it is a really deadly martial art once u get to a certain point but yeah theres alot to learn!!
Hello, first I wanted to congratulate you for the videos are incredible, and I wanted to ask I train Monday and Thursday. I do push-ups,handstand push-ups,dips and chin-ups. I can train handstand every day or how often would have to practice. Thanks Greetings from Argentina
I asked my little sister: "What does it look like he is doing?" She said: "He looks like he is out of his mind." She could not have said it better. You were out of your mind... you were in your body!
So so good!
This man is so beautiful, not just in looks but in the way he moves so fluidly and naturally AND you can tell he is mindfully enjoying it.

Depends on the activity and the volume, intensity, skill complexity etc.

After 8(?) years of training im still surprised and inspired by my own teacher - dont ever stop creating and inventing!
This is one of the greatest videos on RUclips. Absolutely the best video for any aspiring humans looking to dominate their bodies with real strength.
It never ceases to amaze me what the human body is capable of. But first comes strength of will, without that nothing happens. Very, very impressive, mate
The song is Triste Bahia by Caetano Veloso, from his album Transa
