The thing to keep in mind during all of this is that at it's core music/art/whatever is created to evoke an emotional response. Noise as a Genera has a long history and generally evokes a feeling of unease. It's not supposed to conform to anything because if it were part of a pattern it wouldn't really be Noise. If it's not your thing I'm sure there's plenty out there that you are interested in. I's always good to see Sickness perform live. I haven't seen him in quite some time. -Rich T
this set was the highlight of an incredible night. the video can't get across how intense it was in person. this is the power and the failure of youtube. you think you're there because you're watching a "live" recording, like it's a window to what really happened. it's not. it's one point of view rendered on a flat screen and an inadequate sonic capture (no offense to the videographer - some frequencies just don't translate). seeing a video of this is like looking at a JPEG of a painting.
that is one of the Safeplace "Tarnish" models by The Squarewave Parade. the 1/4" jack has a locking mechanism on it and the knob controls a passive lowpass filter. it's nice.
@nondescriptman, I suppose you're right, but it's always nice to see noise artists evolving into new setups/ideas right? His early stuff happened, and it was fantastic. But yes, seeing him perform his earlier work would be over-whelming!

Someone with a Burzum upload on his channel appoints him(her)self leader of the 'musical talent' police. good one, really!
