- Kia Soul Life works for this nomadic solo female. Her name, is Mindy States. She was inspired much like all of us, watching her favorite youtube videos of travelers taking to the road in their vehicles and seeking a new life of adventure and less worry. She started small, but she's packing a huge heart of joy, wonder and a sense of peace while searching in the great out doors.

The Kia Soul would be a stretch for me but Mindy has perfected it for her needs....The reasons people elect to go the Nomad lifestyle route are as varied and numerous as the people doing it...Mindy's reasons are as pure and straightforward as can be...When I hit the road for a time it was simply to avoid capture until I was approved for the witness protection program and then went back to sticks and bricks under an assumed name...The 'program' has a yearly reunion at Quartzite where many of us spent time fondling rocks while waiting for that Black Lincoln Navigator to pick us up..
@@pocono49murphy96 An equally entertaining story no doubt. And you're right, we all have varying reasons for doing it. But the voice remains the same. It changes us, and usually for the better.
@@TravisTravels Of course I was joking about my experience but the real story is I have a few acres, in Florida, with utilities zoned for camping and RV'S. I keep my motorhome and Pop-up camper there but the property sits vacant more often than not. I offer it to boondockers and campers for free with the simple request to leave my equipment alone, leave the property as you found it and replace any propane cannisters and cord wood that you use.. [ I ask nothing for the water, sewer and electric} ..Sadly, that hasn't been the case. I'm giving it a little more time but my generosity is wearing thin..

@@TravisTravels I'm not there when they come and go in most cases which I suspect contributes to their behavior..I'll swing the bat a few more times..I do it because, owing to the virus, a lot of facilities were closed or restricted and my place is safe and private and I'd be selfish if I didn't share it.. My original intent was to provide a safe haven for solo female Nomads because while I applaud their courage I'm not convinced it's always safe for them...But, a very wise man once said "It is what it is"..
