Absolutly, such a sweet child cursed with such an insane mother. . . Kids that small do not think anything about seeing a boob, there is nothing traumatising or sexual about it . . .the whole breasts are sexuall is a taught insanity born from our obcession to force women to cover up instead of teaching boys selfrestraint and respect towords women. In cultures where uncovered breasts are common literally no one cares, but our whole obcession with punishing women for having breasts with demonetisation, making a massiv deal out of it and acting like its the worst or best thing that can happen to you to see . . . .no wonder it only ever gets worse to the point of deranged people seeing breastfeeding as a sexual act . . .
I'm wondering if she goes into the men's room to yell at men for exposing themselves at urinals😂?!!! Perhaps she complains at the Dr's office it someone comes in for a follow-up on an exposed healing surgical procedure😢?!!! Of all places, you have a partially exposed breast in a nursing room😮!!!
I used to own a restaurant. If someone like that last woman came in, I would have made an instant rule that once someone claims that they are allergic to something, we can't give it to them, even if they ask. After all...liability.
This right here, when I was listening to the story I was desperately hoping that's what the waiter would say. There would have not been a d@mn thing the entitled mom could have done because that's the restaurant taking her allergy seriously.
The waiter should have refused because she had very adamantly emphasized her severe and fatal allergy. There would be nothing she could legally do because the establishment is just protecting themselves from any liability.
I'd have said that we couldn't give it to them because of liability and if the mom threw a tantrum, I would tell her that if she continues to insist on trying to eat something that she claimed would kill her, then I have no choice but to call the police over an obviously suicidal woman who needs a psychiatric evaluation. Because it's either she's suicidal or she lied to me about her food sensitivity.
It takes a pretty serious dose of self-hatred for a woman and mother to believe that a perfectly natural activity that another mother is performing is somehow disgusting. Breastfeed your baby wherever you like lady! Baby is happy, everyone else is happy because the baby is not crying, life is good.
There are people who can't wrap their minds around the fact that the function of a breast is to feed a child, and it's only sexualized because our society insists on thinking that way. It's sad.
I've seen women wearing dresses or tops that bares more breast than a mother nursing a baby! I bet this woman didn't breast feed once. She probably bottle fed her kid.
Typical unfortunately of the satan-publican death cult... 🤬 Guaranteed she claims to be "christian" while doing the opposite of the teachings of Rabbi Yahushua ben Yahweh...
@@Hinatachan360someone i knew literally thought they soaked rags in milk and gave that to the baby and couldn't comprehend anything else that could have come before that
I just saw a tweet the other day claiming that if you breastfeed your son you're teaching them that it's okay to touch a woman's body without consent. wtf.
The thing that many folk don't realise is that young kids have absolutely no interest in nudes or even people making out. So the idea that they are somehow being traumatised by seeing anything is complete nonsense. I remember when mine were young and for some reason they were up late and we were watching a film (movie to you USA folks) on TV. Unexpectedly, there was sex scene in the film (no it wasn't that sort of film - it was just central to the plot): Kid: "What are they doing?" Me: "Oh, they're just having a cuddle." Kid: "Why have they taken their clothes off?" Me: "I don't know - maybe they're too hot." No response from kid who, satisfied with my answers, just returned to playing with her toys.
@@Chris-hf2sl They can be, but not if you explain things proper to them if they ask. Answering a child's questions is the first step to eliminating ignorance in the future.
@@blastortoise I agree. But the key is to keep it simple and explain things in terms that they can understand and relate to. I remember when mine were young and there were constant warnings on the TV about HIV and how to avoid it. One of mine (aged about 8/9) was worried by the warnings and wanted to know whether she would catch this terrible disease. I said "No, you can only catch it if the blood of someone who has it gets into your body, so if you stay away from anyone else's blood you'll be fine." She was happy with that explanation - no need to talk about the risks of gay sex etc.
"... I'm sorry madam, you've said it might kill you and whilst we couldn't give a damn about you dying, you being carried out in a coffin is bad for trade."
Story 3: I hope no one gives her crap for not pressing harassment charges. Between her depression and hormones along with being hurt I can’t blame her for not thinking at the moment. That Karen is horrible.
For real, the one in my town has like 50 . Huge parking lot. I've even made acquaintance with a couple of cashiers. I always tell them thank you and that they are heroes for what they put up with daily. I gotta tell ya I get some of the warmest smiles when I go there.
As a BIG guy myself, I can say if Mr. Whale would lose the excess weight, he likely wouldn't have those hip problems. This guy is an arse. And the pushy kid is "cruisin' for a bruisin'!" 😅
It probably wasn’t just one, but they were all occupied and the entitled prick decided to call on the truck since he didn’t recognize the disabled veteran plaque 🤔
@@sapphirewingthefurrycritic985 Buddy, that's an insult to trash. I work at Walmart, and we're lucky if we don't get all the evil of everywhere in the store.
Hum... you don't understand her : for her, nursing room mean nothing... because.. you know... nursing room in public space just exist for the last 20 years and law for breast feeding in public has just been new for the last 20 years too... So, if she disagree with the law/facility, it just doesn't exist... right?!? That not how it works? On a more serious note: for the kid, a n1pple is just a n1pple! And actually, for everybody it should just be that when we are not in an intimate/flirting situation. And if you remember the Temberlake & Janet Jackson superball incident, some stats came out after that. The US population was so offended and was almost rioting : they are also the biggest consumer of adult content ($/person or view time/person; I don't remember)! I can understand this inconfort when you're very young, having very high hormone and not knowing what to do with it and you see skin and stuff... but pass a certain point in your life, you shouldn't be anymore and being a mom is normally a point where you had open your legs to a lot of doctor, at least one man and probably show most of your body to some other mom, nurse & doctors for different reasons. But I guess, in this story, it's all about "you gonna give a hard one to a 5 y old!" (and should be had for precision : "that shouldn't be here in the first place").
@@sakilynn it reminds me of a story a friend of mine told me. This was back in the late 1980’s. He and another guy was in Knoxville TN. They were looking for somewhere to go drinking. Somehow they found a place called the carousel. They went in my friend looked around he realized it was a gay bar. He was okay he just wanted a few refreshments. His buddy did figure it so fast. Another patron came up and sit down making small talk. One thing lead to another the patron ask the guy if he wanted to dance and put his hand on the guys knee. The guy went ballistic. The manager came over. The guy explained the patron was coming on to him and was acting like a F@gg0t. The manger explained this is a gay bar. It ended up with Knoxvilles finest escorting my friend and his buddy out. The cop explained if you don’t want a gay man coming onto you. Then you need to avoid going to gay bars. That is what they do in there. My buddy said he was about ready to wet his pants trying not to burst out laughing.
Story 2. My dad had something like this happen to him at a wally world. He was a double amputee due to diabetes so he had the handicapped plate on his truck. But this one tried to get physical and failed. So did the son. My dad stoped both. In the end both got assault charges and it was found out both were shoplifting too. So they also got a a permanent ban from wally world. Justice served.
Story 3: That happened to me. I was shopping in a department store that did not have a special room for mothers to nurse their babies. It was so quiet in the store that I decided to feed my son in a dressing room. When I was done, the sweet young thing manning that area told me that breastfeeding was disgusting and I should have gone to the bathroom to do it. I had her put back the clothes I had planned to buy and never shopped there again. Also hoped that someday she might find herself in a similar situation. Story 5: That's why people don't take allergies seriously and disbelieve someone who tells them they have food allergies. When they see idiots who claim to be "deathly allergic" to something but scarf down something containing that very ingredient, they think everyone is faking.
The dressing room is at least somewhat sanitary. My work had no sort of facility, so I had to pump in a bathroom stall. I had to be super careful to avoid things getting contaminated. Even so, it's amazing my baby didn't get sick from the "food" being prepared in those conditions. Think about it - would you be ok with someone prepping a plate of food in a bathroom stall, then giving it to you? Would you take your lunch to a bathroom to eat it? Probably not. Why do people think, then, that it's ok to ask nursing/pumping mothers to use a bathroom for that? (Sorry. It's been a long time, and I'm still steamed about that. Ranting at those ignoranuses, not at you. And good on you for not giving them your money!)
story 2, my dad is a disabled vet as well (He served and the condition he had at the time should have disqualified him but they didn't know what Spinal degeneration was, and he's been through lately healthwise) he would have told the hamplanet to "Walk more and eat a salad once in a while, lardass!!" (He's at the age where he doesn't care who he offends. He's old.)
I can relate, being a military vet and having serious back injury (among other problems) and being older, at 67. I used to think my Dad was an old curmudgeon with no tact, and a complete lack of "effs". These days, I find I have become truly a "chip off the old block"! I am like "John Wayne Toilet Paper" (vets will know!) and don't take s*** off anyone. 😅
Story 4: It's a good thing that Tim is apparently well enough off that he's able to remain calm and present himself as a reasonable person and present his side of things in situations like that. Many homeless people aren't so lucky, and actually suffer from mental problems, social anxiety, PTSD, or just the cumulative stresses of living on the streets for years, which can make them behave in ways that seem "weird" to other people, even when they actually are entirely harmless and mean well, and because of this, they usually don't get the benefit of the doubt that they really deserve. If this had been anybody else, that karen might well have gotten her way and nobody would have even batted an eye...
Story 1: Of all the types of scholarships to have, an athletic one is the most precarious. All it takes is one injury and bye bye funds. And if the daughter has nothing else going for her, she would be screwed for the remainder of her life.
I gonna take wild guess on why she was no show (and maybe only partly responsable of the situation): A coach that call last minute practice & an over involved mom who say "go to your practice, I'll take care to call your job" and don't do it... for in story reason.
That's fine, my four cousins all got into college on soccer scholarships. But they also worked jobs. Don't do both if one is going to be taking all your time, that's all a person has to do.
Also, the company apparently doesn't fire you if you call in. The only reasonable excuse for not calling in is laryngitis as they wouldn't be able to hear you.
I'm sure there's a statute of limitations, but it's probably pretty short for verbal harassment. Throwing the jacket could count as assault and child endangerment, though. The statute on that would be a bit longer.
If you think someone is misusing the handicap parking spot just call the police or take a picture and report it. Let the police handle it. I’ve breastfed 2 children. My youngest, my daughter never let me cover her. She would always knock off the blanket or cry until I took it off. My son was 3 when his sister was born. Breastfed right in front of him. People who complain about moms breastfeeding in public need to get a life and mind their own business. I once sat on a public bench in the middle of a busy fair breastfeeding my daughter. About 50 people passed me. No one cared. I got the occasional glance but that’s it. My husband is an elementary school music teacher and with our first I decided not to breastfeed in front of his students. Second child, he told me to go on ahead. All the parents know we recently had a baby. If they can’t tell the difference between exposing and breastfeeding they need a major education.
Where I live, I've seen people breastfeeding in cafes, in food halls, on a bench outside and on a bus. Except for the bus, no-one said anything, and the bus driver shutdown the person having a go at the breastfeeding mum on the bus, he was informed that if he didn't like it, the driver could stop the bus and he could get off right there, the guy shut up.
Here nursing advocates hand you a card of lawyers who won't charge you to sue anyone who shames, harasses, or otherwise impedes breastfeeding. Its illegal to do so - considered harmful to starve a child.
I want someone to ask the entitled AHs when they claim it’s their park/store/table/etc. “Do you own it? Did you pay for it? Where’s your name if you own it? Do you have license for it? Did you give birth to it? No? Then shut up and leave me alone before you see yourself in jail, or community service.”
Some have been asked that. And they usually then say that they own it because their taxes pay for it. 🤦♀️ They truly think that gives them the right to claim ownership over it. They’re truly idiots, plain and simple.
Another favorite is to tell the "owner" that several of the structures are in dire need of upkeep, this particular surface isn't safe for children.... basically rant about how they need to fix things in "their" park until they admit they DON'T own it. I've seen/heard this done in other stories, and it worked beautifully. I've yet to have a chance to do it myself.
@RedT…TheOriginal.NotANumber That reminds me of the story of the lady that claimed no one was allowed to park in front of her house because she owned the sidewalk and the street area. A neighbor across the street (the OP of the story), had a friend who was a cop, and when he heard of this woman yelling at people and causing a fuss, he decided to park his personal car there. When the lady tried to yell at him, he wanted to know why she hadn’t shoveled the snow on the sidewalk and fix it. That if she did own the sidewalk and that strip of street, he’d have to cite her for failing to upkeep it. By the time he was done, she’d relented and admitted she didn’t own it. And while she never ran out to stop anyone from parking there again, she did give death stares from her window anytime someone did park there. 😂🤣😂🤣
Story 5: If I were the server in that situation I would have immediately reported it to my supervisor, and if I were the manager in that situation I _absolutely would not_ have allowed her to order that dessert. She has already informed the restaurant that she "could die" if she consumes an ingredient which is known to be in that dessert (and cannot be removed). It doesn't matter what she says after that point, serving that to her would be a *huge legal liability* because there is no way to know for certain which of her conflicting statements is actually the wrong one, and if it turns out she does actually have a serious allergy, then they have knowingly served her something that could have killed her, which makes them potentially liable for a lot of damages. But to be honest, if I were the manager, I probably would have gotten up in front of the whole dining room and publicly apologized to everyone who had had their food delayed because of needing to clean the kitchen due to this woman's (clearly indicating who she was) apparently fraudulent misrepresentation of a medical condition. _Then_ refused to serve her any more food (but happily taken the dessert orders for everyone else at the table). (But then I probably wouldn't last very long as a restaurant manager...)
I had two right knee reconstructive surgeries. There are days when I have balance issues. I have a handicapped hanger. On several occasions I have been questioned over my using a disability parking spot. If it’s in the summertime I pull up the shorts to reveal my 6” scar. If it’s in the winter I pull out my smartphone to show the photo of my leg cast that went from the toes to the thigh. I can also show a photo of the long scar on the knee. The reaction of the “Karen” varies. Most will yell at me for not looking handicapped enough. One Karen stared at my scar. She said nothing but she did a 180 degree turn & moved away rapidly.
If you have a placard why do they care? If they are that concerned. They need to call a cop. If the name on the placard matches the name on your ID. The officer will roll his eyes. Then tell you have a nice and be safe.

24:20 I would have refused to take the mother's order: She claimed to be lactose intolerant and that nothing could have it in it or she would die, after having put the kitchen staff through hell from make sure everything in the kitchen was cleaned before they could start on her food and continue with the food for the other guests: She could order something that had no lactose in it or pay up and leave! Yeah. The throwing the jacket at her could have hurt her or the baby if the zipper hit either of them in the face. It could possibly be considered assault. She showed restraint for the kids sake. I really feel bad for that kid. He seems like a sweet little boy. It's a shame he has a lunatic for a mother.
Story 2 - To OP’s father, thank you for your service. That guy sounded like he was unhinged and looking for a fight. And I agree with that commenter, what would that guy have done if OP’s dad was in a wheelchair?
one of my daughter's boyfriends would say he was allergic to any food he thought he wouldn't like. honestly, just say it doesn't sound appetizing, no need to lie.
Story 5: It could kill me if a trace gets into my food. May I have the chocolate truffle, please? It is okay to cheat. WOW I do believe, but I might be wrong, that there is a LOT MORE than just a trace in that dessert.
Thats not fair to say, i know an absolut slip of a girl who had a bad hip since she was 16 and it can even be, that a bad hip is the reason you gain weight . . . Him being an ahole does not makeit ok to claim big people deserve and caused all health issus themselfs, so are undeserving of treatment! Thats a very common and absolutly detrimental medical bias that leads to severe injuries and illnesses not getting treated cause the doc does not bother looking into it and rather just tell them, they need to lose weight before it is worth looking into it . . . Only to 3 months later learn the patient had a spinal disc herniation, which severely needed treatment or a strike, or even a heartattack. . . .
The last story: The server had every legal right to say, "No mam, You said if you had anything with lactose in it, you could die. Due to liability issues, we cannot serve you the desert you asked for." Though I would have added, "However, here is a shaker full of salt. It is lactose free. Please enjoy."
Mom would been very lucky to not have "something extra" in the chocolate dessert after she had the staff clean the entire kitchen and then said it was no big deal. Do NOT mess with the people making your food.
Story #2: The Wife/Mother of the Entitled Husband/Entitled Son should have threatened to leave them in the Parking Lot if they didn't stop being mean to OP's dad, that would have gotten them both to shut up for their rudeness.
@@PuppyKatt I doubt they would do that since she gave birth to the Entitled Son and Married the Entitled Father, she could have divorced her Husband and disowned her son.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Does she have dementia, as well?" directed at OP. "We simply can't risk a bad reaction to lactose, and you were very specific about how dangerous it is for you. I'm afraid none of our desserts would be safe for you. I hope you enjoyed your meal."
Story 4: A Public Park is open to anyone, even the homeless. Not to mention she acted like she owned the park. Sorry, but someone simply existing at the park is not a reason to kick them out
Which is why I got really mad at the cops in the Charmed episode "Witchstock". The hippies were kicked out of the park by the cops claiming that taxpayers paid for the park. We'll, I'm pretty sure most of those taxpayers were the parents of these hippies, which gave the hippies the same rights as anyone else. I know this was a TV show, but didn't this also happen for real?
Story 1 - Karen’s definitely not doing her daughter any favors by calling OP and demanding that he rehire her. And as for the ‘she’ll be your boss someday’ yeah right. At the rate she’s going she’ll be lucky enough to get a job in fast food
I'm lactose intolerant. It's not an allergy. It's an intolerance. It won't kill me. I do know someone with a dairy allergy, and that's a whole different ballgame.
I've heard several stories whre the wife (or gf) does the de-escalating. Usually some macho alpha wannabe berating a waitress because he can't seem to listen.
My daughter is lactose intolerant and it developed in her late teens so she avoided everything that may have it so, basically dairy. This one night, I posted that I made too much rice for dinner and that I HAD to make a rice pudding and, my daughter knocked on my door 5 mins later and then an hour later, she was on the toilet for half the night.....I asked her why she put herself in this situation and her response was, because I love your rice pudding mum.
The last story is when you say, "Ma'am, we take allergies VERY serious. We cannot serve you anything with lactose in it after you've let us know about your allergy." And that's that
@@mjjoe76 ..That would be my guess as well. Personally, I knew about the hangers but was unaware of what the plates looked like until I had a veteran roommate. His plates could be mistaken for a veteran plate except for the DV. Doesn't excuse the lardbutt for running his mouth or the teen grabbing the son.
My late husband was a big honeybear of a man. 6'5" and pushing 300lbs. If you didn't know him, he could be intimidating. He regularly walked our neighbour's big Bernese Mountain dog in the park. One day he came across three losers bullying some teenage girls. He walked up with the dog and quietly said, “Is there a problem?” while holding back the growling dog, who knew trouble when he saw it. The bullies turned around and saw this behemoth with an angry dog and they ran. My husband made sure the girls were okay. They thanked him and the dog got some thank-you pets, too.
24:07 the Server should have refused to serve her the dessert. Like "we can't do that. We wouldn't want to risk you bite the grass. Please order sth without lactose. I will NOT serve you any lactose containing food"
It's really sad how stores seem to be magnets for people that think disabled refers exclusively to people who refuse to control their weight or who are just outright missing limbs. As is mothers shaming other mothers for breastfeeding, in a room literally designed for nursing. The idea seeing a breast is going to traumatize a kid is insanely silly as well. That level of prudishness is goofy. Breastfeeding isn't for everyone but it's not going to hurt anyone.
Omg that lactose story was too close to home. I was a server in the Boulder Colorado area during the peak of the gluten free craze. We constantly had people doing the exact thing described in the post, most often with our delicious beignets, which were like 100% gluten lol. These people would complain and demand all sorts of special accommodations for the rest of their order and then get a huge plate of beignets. It was infuriating and they never tipped well. Eventually we just started lying to them that things were gluten free even when they weren’t. Of course this was only done with people we had personally witnessed eating gluten without problem. Our chef took celiac disease, an entirely real and dangerous condition, completely different from “gluten intolerance” very seriously.
Story 2: If the owner of the truck, or the child were in a wheelchair or using walking aids, no doubt that entitled idiot would have accused them of faking it.
When did breastfeeding in public become such a problem for people? Before about 5-10 years ago, I don't remember anyone caring if someone was breastfeeding.
There's this one picture that was done back in I think the 1600's, an engraving of a group of people in church, and there is a woman sitting there breastfeeding her child while the clergyman is giving his sermon. People actually had common sense about it back then.
Well, for the breast-feeding lady in the nursing room, the other lady was totally inappropriate, but if I were a shy type, I would put a little clean diaper or a clean, disposable diaper or a small blanket or bib or something and pin it to my blouse so that I hide most of what is being done. But the lady was a total witch. The second story the restaurant story I would have just refused to serve her after that so take their orders and everything so you don’t embarrass the rest of his family, but then is the manager. I would pull the lady who claims she had a fake allergy aside and tell her that she’s no longer welcome in the restaurant and make sure that you can enforce that.
Story 5… been there. The way you handle that is to let them know you cannot sell them a known allergen as that would be a liability? “Oh you’re allergic to tomatoes? Then, no you can’t have your ketchup back for your fries.” Just hit them with malicious compliance.
"Yes, we can make a lactose free meal for you. I'll let you know the price once we've worked out how many man-hours it will take to deep clean the entire kitchen."
So my mom has told me this story hundreds of times. I'm disabled and my mom had to take me to the children's hospital as a kid alot due to it. This hospital wouldn't let her take me somewhere to nurse so she had to cover me up. Like op a kid asked my mom what she had under the blanket. My mom tells the kid she's feeding me. The kid asks her "Huh" so my mom tells the kid "Have you seen a baby cow nursing off its mom" the kid according to my mom the kid runs to his mom and said "Mom there's a cow under there". 😂 I still laugh about it to this day
On the last story that pisses me off so much because my mom has celiac disease so gluten will absolutely wreck her to the point she’s almost gone anaphylactic, but people don’t take her seriously because women like that they just treat my mom like she’s attention seeking
I also feel like the daughter in the first story is part of the problem. Did she just think she could not show up to work and still get a paycheck? And what's the mom on about with her daughter getting a scholarship as if that had anything to do with a job in an entirely unrelated place?
As the waiter I would have said no ma'am you made it perfectly clear that you could have a serious medical reaction to any lactose whatsoever so our due diligence we will not be bringing you that
Last story - I’d have come back with an empty bowl for the mother and a chocolate dessert for OP and when Karen asks why her bowl is empty, simply state that’s your chocolate dessert without the chocolate - we don’t want you dying on the premises, it’s too much of a hassle with all the paperwork ! I’d then charge her for her empty bowl for all the messing about she caused !
In this day and age, people are still shaming mothers for feeding their babies. Worse, a person who is a mother herself doing so in a space specifically reserved for exactly that purpose. This hits home for me. How often I was told to nurse my babies (now adults) in the restroom areas (ew), or the time I was nursing one of my kids in my own car, when someone knocked on the window to tell me to do that somewhere else. I always cover with a light cotton gauze throw for privacy, anyways, so I don't know why this was ever an issue. Fortunately, most people in our area were okay with this, but it only takes one or two instances of this kind of harassment to traumatize a person, and most businesses, even the family restaurants we went to, were very cool about it. Last story with the "lactose intolerance" woman...I hate people like that. I have real allergies and intolerances, and I'm hyper aware of when people are faking it for attention. I understand that some allergies and intolerances may present differently from mine, even to the same items, but one figures it out after a while when people are faking or exaggerating. That waiter should have denied the order, claiming that they could not risk OP's mom's health, given her allergy, you know. That woman makes it so much harder for people like me who have real issues, since it happens so often, and staff still have to be careful, since it only takes once for someone to be sent to the hospital or even lose their life.
Story 4: (This turned out to be kind of lengthy, sorry.😅) I hate when unhoused people are shamed like that. Once back in college when my mother and I were driving me back from FL to TX for Christmas break, we encountered an unhoused man at a travel stop. We thought he was approaching our car so we stayed inside, making ourselves look busy fiddling with something (he was still a stranger, a man, and we were two women traveling alone, after all). It ends up he was headed for the trash can between the gas pumps, and our hearts dropped when we realized he was digging for food. He pulled out a chip bag and dumped the crumbs into his mouth, and then he headed inside. My mom and I wanted to give him some money so he could get a hot meal from the burger place that was attached to the travel stop, so once he went inside we followed suit (again, for safety) and saw him disappear into the men's room. So we waited. When he came out we _quietly_ said, "Excuse us... we saw you outside earlier, and we just wanted to give you this so you can maybe get some food for yourself." before handing him a $20. We were trying to be discreet so he didn't end up embarrassed or something. His face broke into the BIGGEST smile like the sun, he took the money, then loudly said "God BLESS you!! Thank you so much! I AM going to get myself some food. I'm going to go get myself a HAMBURGER! 😄" He thanked and blessed us a couple more times, then turned to go to the burger place. My mom and I finished our business inside and went back out to our car. It was parked in a space right in front of the door, and as we were getting situated before leaving again we saw the man through the glass, standing in line at the convenience store counter. He had a big bag from the burger place and a half liter bottle of Dr. Pepper in his hand, still grinning from ear to ear. That happened literally 20 years ago and I _still_ think about him from time to time and wonder how he's doing. I hope he was able to get his feet back under himself eventually, because he seemed like such a kind person. Eff anybody who treats unhoused people the way that Karen did. They're still people and worthy of dignity and common respect.🙁
Entitled people forget how quickly any of us could become homeless. All it takes is one or accidents, injuries or a natural disaster to wipe out our funds, resources, all our belongings, home, friends and family. Even a job loss or vehicle loss can be devastating. We should be thankful for what we do have.
Handicap parking story: Not all handicaps are visible. That doesn't mean they are any less valid or painful. My knees are shot as well and I generally use handicap parking spaces (handicap plates on car). That doesn't keep the handicap spaces from occasionally being completely full and having to park and walk much further out in the lot. It's real life people.
Final Story - I feel for OP. My SIL did that years ago when she decided to go completely ‘organic’ because it was better for her health and went on and on about how Organic foods were better. But then she went back to nonorganic foods at a family gathering and told everyone ‘it’s okay to have a cheat day’
I have zero problems with breastfeeding in an appropriate place. The nursing room has to be the most appropriate place on Earth other than one's own home.
Both my parents' cars have handicapped tags. I'm just waiting for someone to snap at us when I'm out with my father (two bad knees and recovering from a broken back) or my mother (who wears a knee brace and is waiting for surgery). When I'm out on my own I park in normal spots because I can walk just fine
Story 2 depending on the state. DV plates don’t make it legal to park in handicap parking places. I know Texas changed that this year. Several groups of activists for disabled people have been pressuring legislators to make placards or tags with handicap logo required to park in those spots. IMO that is up to the police and stores to enforce. When it comes to legal matters. Self help never is a good option.
They have to have plates with both the DV and the handicap logo on them. Mine are just handicap because I am not a veteran. If I am in the car and a DV/handicap pulls up, I will vacate the spot in favor of the veteran, in gratitude for his service (both my parents were in the Navy during Korea). I can park elsewhere or wait until my husband's with me. He is the one who really needs it now, with a liver condition that has him very anemic and his weight flutuates 10 pounds every 2 weeks from water retention. I usually drive and he goes into the store while I wait in a spot to see him come out and pick him up.
Yeah, um... My sister is a store manager for a major retail chain, and she's making about $95k a year on salary before end of year store performance bonuses. I'm incredibly proud of her for it, too, because she worked hard to get there. That lady has no business talking down to a store manager as though they're not doing anything with their life.
The endings were unsatisfying on all of these. The best one was about the homeless guy, but even there the Karen still got to walk away without consequences beyond embarrassment. sigh. I guess sometimes the best you can do is walk away and laugh about it later.
My Dad was brought into a class about his work experience, he talked about getting fired and continuing on after that. He was given grief because he was speaking negatively to the class and they don't need to hear that. SMH
In Scotland where I live, you can get into serious trouble for harassing a nursing mother. They can nurse anywhere in public and there are signs in many businesses warning against bothering them.
"The park Karen" forgot to "salute the leader" before she called the police. She OBVIUSLY thought the police officers were "the Special Security", who would enforce HER will!
We should use troll and sign language on Qarens Explaining things politely to them is just like a science teacher going to the zoo and explaining Einstein to the chimp. Actually the chimp may understand IMHO, chimps, apes, crows, magpies, mynahs are smarter than 20% of hoomans
The first story reminds me of a story my husband told me awhile ago. This was when we owned our own Cafe. He had a hired girl, and she worked a few shifts and then never came back. Not a phone call, nothing. A month goes by, and my husband gets a call from another business asking about this girl. Apparently, she had put my husband down as a reference to get a job with this new company. My husband was honest and said that while she was here, she was good, but then she ghosted me. I've had no clue as to her whereabouts. A few days later, he gets a call from this girl, and she's not happy. She's screaming at him and asking how he could do that to her. She wanted that job, and he had messed it up for her🤦♀️😂😂😂

Nursing room story... the other woman's child is NOT okay because he has that awful woman as a mother

I'd also charge her a cleaning fee at that point!
This!!!
It takes a pretty serious dose of self-hatred for a woman and mother to believe that a perfectly natural activity that another mother is performing is somehow disgusting.
Breastfeed your baby wherever you like lady! Baby is happy, everyone else is happy because the baby is not crying, life is good.
Maybe the offended woman was a closet bi or lesbian and that's the only way she can hide her frustrations.
There are people who can't wrap their minds around the fact that the function of a breast is to feed a child, and it's only sexualized because our society insists on thinking that way. It's sad.
what next? giving birth in hospital.... what has this world come to
I've seen women wearing dresses or tops that bares more breast than a mother nursing a baby! I bet this woman didn't breast feed once. She probably bottle fed her kid.
I wonder how many people like that actually have gender dysphoria. Very interesting concept.

Story 3 - There’s absolutely nothing wrong with a mother breastfeeding her baby, it’s completely natural. Karen was in the wrong here, not OP.
Unexpectedly, there was sex scene in the film (no it wasn't that sort of film - it was just central to the plot):
Kid: "What are they doing?"
Me: "Oh, they're just having a cuddle."
Kid: "Why have they taken their clothes off?"
Me: "I don't know - maybe they're too hot."
No response from kid who, satisfied with my answers, just returned to playing with her toys.
Thank God this is one OP who didn’t have a Karen for a MIL!

@@blastortoise I agree. But the key is to keep it simple and explain things in terms that they can understand and relate to. I remember when mine were young and there were constant warnings on the TV about HIV and how to avoid it. I said "No, you can only catch it if the blood of someone who has it gets into your body, so if you stay away from anyone else's blood you'll be fine." She was happy with that explanation - no need to talk about the risks of gay sex etc.

Story 5: The moment she starts on the subject... "Mom, you know full well that you are NOT lactose intolerant!"
Story 3: Karen has selective hearing. They said "Nursing Room" like twenty times.
Hum... you don't understand her : for her, nursing room mean nothing... because.. you know... nursing room in public space just exist for the last 20 years and law for breast feeding in public has just been new for the last 20 years too...
@martqbd total off, but also funny
Disagree, she saw 'nursing room' and made a beeline in there to pick a fight.
@alliedatheistalliance6776 honestly wouldn't surprise me. Some people seem to thrive on drama

Any restaurant that once told you are lactose intolerant would deny the order for chocolate mousse
I; also willing to bet that either Karen ha a bad yoga session due to gas or didn't get an action in class ;)
I've never heard of a community college offering any kind of scholarship, let alone a sports scholarship.
@seangallagher6698 the local community college around me offers athletic scholarships
Also, the company apparently doesn't fire you if you call in. The only reasonable excuse for not calling in is laryngitis as they wouldn't be able to hear you.
Story 3: I hope there’s a way for the BF mom to still press charges against that hag. Being cornered like that, with emotions so high, is scary.
I'm sure there's a statute of limitations, but it's probably pretty short for verbal harassment. Throwing the jacket could count as assault and child endangerment, though. The statute on that would be a bit longer.
You definitely know that the entire kitchen staff spit in her chocolate truffle. 😂
Ma'am, breastfeeding is the most GRACEFUL thing a woman can do. Ignore the idiot.
And OP is in the Nursing Room! That Karen is truly an arse. 🤨
They truly think that gives them the right to claim ownership over it. They’re truly idiots, plain and simple.
@@themayhemofmadness7038those are the ones that try that line with cops. It doesn't end well for them, but it's fun to watch.

I like this!
I was gonna say I think them giving the dessert after her saying it could kill her could be a giant lawsuit against the restaurant.
And heaven help you if you are younger. So many of these rabid Karens can't understand that young people, even kids, can have disabilities. 😮

Or anywhere else.
"My daughter could be your boss someday!" I'll keep that in mind if I want a job that involves SOCCER. Otherwise, LOL.
The last story is when you say, "Ma'am, we take allergies VERY serious. We cannot serve you anything with lactose in it after you've let us know about your allergy." And that's that
Story 2 - Since when does a Wal-Mart have only one handicapped spot? Were they all full? If so, why pick on this one?
My guess (and it’s just a guess) is they didn’t see a hanger on the mirror and didn’t bother to look at the license plate.
Story 2: Hey, at least the Mom immediately apologized for her embarrassing mistake when OP’s dad showed his injury and to defuse the situation.
It's like Puritanism never died in Wackyland.
The story with the homeless man, I bet that Karen doesn't work either.
"NOBODY THROAT CHOPPED A KAREN OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hello to YOU my wonderful beautiful friends. I hope you’re having a good day.
It's the only thing that she can brag about since she has nothing else to make her special or superior.
As the waiter I would have said no ma'am you made it perfectly clear that you could have a serious medical reaction to any lactose whatsoever so our due diligence we will not be bringing you that
What I have learned is that people are unhappy and they don’t want to be alone with that
Last story - I’d have come back with an empty bowl for the mother and a chocolate dessert for OP and when Karen asks why her bowl is empty, simply state that’s your chocolate dessert without the chocolate - we don’t want you dying on the premises, it’s too much of a hassle with all the paperwork !
"So shines a good deed on a weary world…" -Willy Wonka
Story 5: That waiter should have never taken her order for something that she said could kill her.
Story1: and don't you just know they'll put that place up as a reference for future jobs.
Story 3: bless that other nursing mother.
She sent security to the rescue
I'm guessing that the Karen harassing the women in the nursing room got trespassed off the property. She shows up again it will mean an arrest.
Here I thought animals from the Mesozoic Era are all extinct but unfortunately these things (Karenasauruses) are still here…
Not just the Karenosaurus, we wouldn't have birds and other living fossils if all animals from the Mesozoic Era died out from the Chixhulub Impact.
That second one was the universe sending some Karens your way for you and your dad to bond over.
“Throat chopped a Karen”….. that’s HILARIOUS!!
My Dad was brought into a class about his work experience, he talked about getting fired and continuing on after that. He was given grief because he was speaking negatively to the class and they don't need to hear that. SMH
22:14 I'd have left, gotten the check, and "embellished" that 'you are no longer allowed in this establishment'.
In Scotland where I live, you can get into serious trouble for harassing a nursing mother. They can nurse anywhere in public and there are signs in many businesses warning against bothering them.
Story 2: The dad owes OP 20 bucks.
"The park Karen" forgot to "salute the leader" before she called the police. She OBVIUSLY thought the police officers were "the Special Security", who would enforce HER will!
We should use troll and sign language on Qarens
Explaining things politely to them is just like a science teacher going to the zoo and explaining Einstein to the chimp. Actually the chimp may understand
IMHO, chimps, apes, crows, magpies, mynahs are smarter than 20% of hoomans
Also, dolphins, orcas, ravens and black kites.
Happy Sunday thanks for the video
She wanted that job, and he had messed it up for her🤦♀️😂😂😂
Story 3: LOOOOL see stories like this are always hilarious to me, because imo, the responce to phrases like “this isn’t appropriate for my child” should be “then take your child and leave”
Glad Op’s MIL is a badass.
"She could be your boss someday "
Me: Oh, no. You see, shes been fired which means she's not eligible for rehire. Ever. So buh bye!"
Last story: that's when you go into malicious compliance mode and say "we are sorry but as you've explained, you are deathly allergic to lactose and we will not be serving any lactose"
Story 2: Sooooo, there was literally only ONE handicapped parking space in the ENTIRE Walmart parking lot??? FOH!!
