  • In this video i react to a song called Jasmine by a SHOW-GO, the song was a wildcard entry for the Grand Beatbox Battle 2021 (GBB 21) and it currently has 17 million views on RUclips. I have no idea how to beatbox and in this video I show how little I know!

Great video :) Please do more beatbox videos! I love how you broke it down, in terms of the pitch. I know the rhythm can be hard to grasp onto. It is something you will definitely learn over time. Time signatures are really important in beatboxing, but the most common is 4/4.

    Nice Matthew!
Usually are "types" of beatboxing that each person has an affinity, or enjoy most to work on, like more technical or musical.
I would like to recommend other popular videos, more like musical that you can try:
River - GBB Solo wildcard 2021
    Den - Moments I had - BBU
    Show-go - Silver
Stich - GBB solo wildcard 2021

Great suggestions 👍 I would also add Gene GBB 2021 wildcard, any of New Schooler’s covers and If Only by Hiss, River, Alexinho and Colaps

Hey, always happy to see more people getting into beatboxing. It would be amazing to see you check out some more solo beatbox like this. I'd suggest watching through some of the GBB23 wildcards, probably Mr. Androide, ZVD, or Wing.

I think you would really enjoy H-Has. He actually takes a lot of inspiration from classical music for his beatbox. Especially piano rhythms

Actually beatboxers can get their voices to vibrate that low! Though in this case, Show-Go uses his uvula area in a gargling motion in addition with rolling his tongue to get that bass.

This one just came up in my feed; I'd love to see your reaction, interpretation, and piano translation to: Den vs Zer0 | Moments I Had | BBU2021 Top 16 : ruclips.net/video/CUe2ymg1RHs/видео.html . (the video only shows Den's routine during that battle round)

I mean your listening to a more of a technique oriented piece designed to enter a battle. There are more musical pieces out there

I don't think you should be talking in general terms like that. First of all there's so many great beatboxers out there with so many different styles you might enjoy one of them, but you haven't come across them yet and also there's already millions of fans of beatbox who find it enjoyable to listen to so flat out saying that it isn't is just your personal opinion.
