Your pinpointer may not been in ok ground set and thats easy to miss . keep on trying..untill we get it ..even if the instrument fall...we learn still .. me after 45 years of constant detekting say soo.. And my 45 years of knowing i say your an metalldetectering expert ..❤

Awesome video :-) I have the same Quest Pinpointer and its a great pinponter for snorkling and scuba with my nox900, Legend or Quest V80, but its some issues with it too!, the buttons are so difficult to push sometimes, and the reason I think its because its waterproof down to 60 meters and high pressure will push on the buttons and mess with the pinpointer if the buttons was like a standard normal one.... I dont think you can put it in diving mode so the buttons have no function like some other brands have as an option...?
Thanks Mate👍 you are right the buttons are designed to take the appropriate pressure for the dive depth rating. I think the new Quest X Pointer Max has a dive mode from memory you can have a look into their specs. I’ve been using the quest pin pointers for years now and they have been reliable👍👍 see you on the next hunt💦💍👍

Can you find gold with only using the Xpointer? it seems like it couldn't detect that necklace even while touching it. Can you make an episode with only the pinpointer, please. We love you.
Thanks Magg👍 AWESOME QUESTION👍👍 unfortunately some small fine gold targets are NOT picked up by our Pinpointers. Stud earrings and thin gold chains are a perfect example and even our bigger detectors can sometimes struggle to pick these targets up at any great depth. See you on the next hunt💦💍👍

Was just a curious thought as I don't know how far their stinger/tail/barb or what ever it's called will penetrate the skin and thinking the thickness of the wet suit might save a person. The wife here. Might be a silly question but any valuables you find do you have to take them to,the police station and wait to see if anyone claims it.
No I believe he holds onto all of them if the police are contacted they put them in contact with Michael I believe he gives his cards out wherever he goes
