oh how I miss a weeping willow, when I was little, I had an Aunt Bird, she was every bit like the two aunts in the movie Practical Magic, she was quite eccentric, and had been quite the flapper back in the roaring 20's, but I used to stay with her a month during summers, and she had a giant weeping willow and on hot Nebraska days she would lay out all the table finery and luxury of a fancy English tea spread under that old willow, I was allowed to dress up in all her finery and baubles from her flapper days, and we would spend the day having tea and sweets and lounging under that old tree.. A little girls best childhood memory.
You all are phenomenal. Naturally, Aaron and Laura get so much love rightfully, but I sure hope Bethany and Paul know how much they are loved and appreciated. They are such hard workers and have helped grow your beautiful estate. Much love from Utah 🌸
Okay, so I know this video was about the boxwood hedge...but are we going to ignore the fact that the planted up fountain is GORGEOUS!? I cannot believe how that has grown. Absolutely beautiful ❤
Yes, the fountain is so BEAUTIFUL!! love how they all grew. Please list again all of the plants in there. That is a keeper arrangement Laura. Have a wonderful evening.
Laura you are an amazing garden designer. I don't know how it is possible but your property just keeps gettin more and more beautiful each day !! I sooo enjoy you and Aarons videos. Thank you !
What an inspiration you are! You are so lucky to have Paul and Bethany! I can’t find anyone to help me. Every time I watch I want to go out side and plant something!
The fountain certainly has grounded that space in the cut flower garden. I imagine the sound is very soothing. The zinnias and sunflowers are magnificent! Walking through them must be a thrill. Hebe looks so much more happy in her new spot. I love wisteria, but it is a beast. I have also found that it is so persnickety about when it wants to bloom or if. I planted one (a friend gave it to me.) It needs an arbor before it eats my barn! We have a trumpet vine too. Though it is a much more reliable bloomer, it too needs a firm hand! We took a chain saw to parts of it this spring. Kinda, Gardner beware! The garden is always an adventure. Thank you so much for taking us along on yours.
So happy you and Aaron finally agreed on what to do with that odd hedge corner. It all looks amazing. Hebe looks so much better there, clear to view the garden 💖
Ohh, another beautiful transformation! You and Aaron sure have an eye for detail!! Love moving Hebe forward, now she is so visible. And the new fountain is wonderful!! That was a great choice!! My goodness the cut flower garden is spectacular!! SO beautiful!! Your excitement is so contagious. Shout out to Paul and Bethany! What a Blessing they are to you!!!!
You have a lot of gems in your gardens, but the planted fountain “for me” is spectacular. Home and gardens; Spectacular! Who would have ever thought it could turn out so beautiful?!
Doesn't it just make the heart ♥️ smile when you have the proper equipment to make a job easier? Not to mention the wear-n-tear it saves on one's body! Work smarter, not harder lol.
I started watching you in 2019. I’ve seen your growth. You have such a beautiful family and I love the relationship you have with them. It’s not often you see families who genuinely love each other and you guys set that example. So excited for you all and the plans to come. The Lord has blessed you with creative eyes for sure. I know your precious babies are excited too. I see why they like to stay home. It’s like living in a fairy tale but real!😆 God bless you all.❤. P.S. can’t wait for the dream stream install.👏🏾👏🏾💃🏽💃🏽
At the 14:57 mark, I have to tell you that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the planted ex-fountain in the centre of the brickwork! It just pops with brilliant colours of amazing contrast. Absolutely gorgeous!
I continually think of all the energy you and Aaron have! I’m tired after 2-3 hours in the garden, but I would love to work/play in a garden like yours. It just gets more and more beautiful! Such fun areas for everyone to hang out, including the kids.
I think the lavender would look so lovely and stay in the cottage garden vibe! Every day things continue to grow and change, becoming more lovely! The winds of change bringing in new seasons of loveliness!
I love how you always share the names of what you are growing and the trees! I've been following for years just watching mostly. Thank you for all that you share. Everything you do looks glorious!
Couple of questions for your recap videos! 1) You talked about wanting to enjoy the fountain but you have so many HOT days, do you think about shade for sitting areas in your planting decisions? I know you're starting to bring in more shade trees in the new properties, but shade kind of defeats the purpose of full sun for the cut flower garden... Just wondering how you balance the aesthetic goals for a space with the desire to comfortably ENJOY the space. 2) Labor day sales and seeing more faces in some of the progression clips have me thinking about gift guides! I think it would be so fun for you to interview some of the crew and get their top 3 things that get them through their day. A favorite pair of boots, a can of diet coke, pruners, headphones, computer mouse, etc. You have such an extensive crew now to get a wide range of answers and it'd be fun for us to "meet" some of them.
I’m in bed because I’m sick, so I love to see your videos. Thank you, for sharing your knowledge. I have planted many flowers in my garden, so when I sit in the living room I could see the flowers. God Bless your family and everyone around you
I’m not a fan of boxwoods. I think they smell like cat pee. They look lovely in formal gardens but mine are all cottage style. I enjoy looking at others gardens though.
I am still amazed at how much you all have done to all of your property! It is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful! Congratulations on the fruits of your labor!
This year you have taught me the importance of the slow drip! 😂I have used it on so many plants this summer after I saw you doing it. It’s a real life saver! Phoebe looks amazing!
Looks amazing! already. You work so hard, and it shows in how beautiful your gardens are. You have hard working friends too. Paul and Bethany are awesome, and I am so glad they let you include them in the video. Of course, Aaron is amazing, It would be Laura and Garden Answer without him. Love your videos and appreciate all your and your team's hard work. That includes the awesome editor. Have a blessed day everyone.
What a day! Love that fountain. Can only imagine it peacefulness. The sunflowers, cosmos and zinnias bring such joy! Hebe looks spectacular in her new home! And boxwood project getting underway and defined. Looking gorgeous. Pretty amazing the ‘stones’ dug from that hole! Wowzer!! What a way to start my day! Thank you! ❤❤❤
❤ The synergy between you and Aaron is what makes GA so successful! Has it always been this way from Day 1 or did it evolve over the years? Y’all give us so much happiness watching y’all create beautiful spaces! 🌿🌺🌻🌸🌻🌿
When you turned that sunflower head, I actually leaned in to see the bees. So cool and I have to say I love your fountain. Makes your cut garden look so formal, a real cottage garden. Beautiful!
We love Paul & Bethany!!💖💖 They are such hard workers and do an awesome job!! Thank you both!! I love your Hebe statue and the one in the Persethany garden are!! You have made me love the statuary/ fountains.❤❤
Sweet Annie dries beautifully, and many people seek it out for fall decorating. So maybe wait till it is ready, cut and dry, it is almost like dried babies breath. It is very popular
The new fountain centers the flower beds and looks; and sounds beautiful..like it's calling you to slow down a little and enjoy! Love the cosmos! Mulch just makes everything look finished! Good job guys!! Enjoy your enthusiasm for the pollinators!! Aaron's toys come in handy.
Very peaceful video with the fountain sound and flowers. Loved hearing the kids in the background playing. Your videos bring me back to when my boys were little. They are now 23 and 27. Love seeing the toys too. You show your family life, which is just as beautiful as your gardens.
Laura, as I'm sitting in room as I watch your beautiful video. I glanced out the window to witness 2 finches, riding up and down on a big banana leaf. The leaf was swaying with the wind, such a treat to watch.
I began watching Garden Answer about the time you created the pallet walkway and cottage garden. I was so impressed I continued watching all these years. Now all I can say is WOW! What a beautiful transformation of your space. I don't garden on your scale, but my gardens have definitely benefitted, and I have received hours of enjoyment watching.
Hi Laura, I have been following you for a few years now. I'm from NJ and I wish you do tours of your garden because I would fly to come see in person your gorgeous garden. Watching you is therapy for me, and for that, I'm grateful. God bless you and your family. 🙏❤
I particularly love the fact you showed the progression of moving the statue. It was a great reminder that even though I get really excited to do a new project, Is taking the time to do all of the steps yields the best long-term results. Is it so tempting to Just Do It!
One way to prevent annual salvia from being damaged by wind would be to grow it through peony support frames then it will be strong enough to not sway and crack in places.
I love watching your projects come together! I think we all know that a pond / stream will be placed by the kitchen. 😉 It seems like the perfect time....Locust tree is coming out, fixing the bricks due to the sand, the fireplace needing refurbished, a blank space behind the fireplace... it's the perfect time. Please say yes!
Everyone needs a Paul and Bethany - they are hard hard workers .
oh how I miss a weeping willow, when I was little, I had an Aunt Bird, she was every bit like the two aunts in the movie Practical Magic, she was quite eccentric, and had been quite the flapper back in the roaring 20's, but I used to stay with her a month during summers, and she had a giant weeping willow and on hot Nebraska days she would lay out all the table finery and luxury of a fancy English tea spread under that old willow, I was allowed to dress up in all her finery and baubles from her flapper days, and we would spend the day having tea and sweets and lounging under that old tree.. A little girls best childhood memory.
Oh my gosh what fun that must have been !!! Such wonderful memories for you !! 😊😊
I grew up climbing in an old willow, I remember the caterpillars and oh so many butterflies in that tree!
You all are phenomenal. Naturally, Aaron and Laura get so much love rightfully, but I sure hope Bethany and Paul know how much they are loved and appreciated. They are such hard workers and have helped grow your beautiful estate. Much love from Utah 🌸

What a team! You guys have created heaven on earth! Thank you for bringing us along for the ride
Because of you I turned my boring backyard into a cozy little garden which I now enjoy!
Okay, so I know this video was about the boxwood hedge...but are we going to ignore the fact that the planted up fountain is GORGEOUS!? I cannot believe how that has grown. Absolutely beautiful ❤
Oh my gosh it is absolutely beautiful, so eye catching !!!

Paul and Bethany are such special treasures.
Gorgeous fountain, gorgeous social roundabout😊… the boxwoods give my heart joy❤ gorgeous Hebe … what a lady …. And what a great team effort❣️
The statuary placement under the willow is PERFECTION
Laura - “look at Hebe, working with the natural shape of the willow” and Russell poses “look at me, I look spectacular under the willow too” 😂😂 🐈
Made me smile to hear you are driving by the fountain because it makes you so happy.
What an inspiration you are! You are so lucky to have Paul and Bethany! I can’t find anyone to help me. Every time I watch I want to go out side and plant something!

I imagine you and Aaron what to button up this year’s projects before the dream stream crew gets here. Everything is coming together beautifully.
I continually think of all the energy you and Aaron have! I’m tired after 2-3 hours in the garden, but I would love to work/play in a garden like yours. It just gets more and more beautiful! Such fun areas for everyone to hang out, including the kids.

Wow! the statue is a lot bigger than I thought it was, it looks gorgious with the Willow in the back.
Sweet Annie dries beautifully, and many people seek it out for fall decorating. So maybe wait till it is ready, cut and dry, it is almost like dried babies breath. It is very popular
The fountain is the perfect crowning touch to an already beautiful space.
I am noticing how tall the arborvitae has gotten along the fence line and has almost blocked the neighbor's houses. Love it!
That center piece….. omgoodness it’s gorgeous
This has been my most favorite video so far this summer!!! Love love love your garden this time of the year.

You have a real helper for your heavier work Laura! Glad it's all in the family. !
I loved the new placement of the statue, the new fountain in the flower garden, & especially Russell & Douglas.
I began watching Garden Answer about the time you created the pallet walkway and cottage garden. I was so impressed I continued watching all these years. Now all I can say is WOW! Idk but you're videos I always watch when fall and winter is right around the corner. It's cozy to me
That was amazing. Just those little touches buttoned Hebe and the seating area beautifully.
The Coleus fountain planting is magnificent!
