I have a small list, approx 340 prospects made up of organic and ex members. I need to ramp up list growth. I tend to share a YT video in the email. I email once per week. I'm not a PT (yet) I'm Pilates and back pain. Unsure how to grow the list with decent prospects..any advice much appreciated. PS I live in Gloucester and have not resorted to knocking on GL1 doors yet
I love the perspective! I see many people doing this. I never got why because you take valuable potential leads and stick them on a platform that can change its algorithm, payments, demonetize, shadow ban, etc. The odds of an email platform doing so are slim to none. Plus, the only traffic promotion I would do in the email list would be to go to MY website and embed the video there should you have the dire need to do a video.
Just getting my L2 and L3, you have been my biggest inspiration to follow my dreams and pursue my passion in fitness, your helpful content is honestly life saving, I’m trying to navigate my way through a new industry, thank you for helping me, all the best.
Great vid mate! Email is key for any business (I may be a bit biased as I’m an email copywriter/marketer). Businesses are leaving so much on the table if they’re not taking advantage of their email list..
Watched something from you the other day; started email marketing list and trying to build. Sitting at 5 so far ( 1 is me and another is my employee) 😅
What email program/company should one use? And what kind of cost are we looking at? I’m curious, do you need to have a sales page ready before you start building and nurturing an email list?
dude - love this new channel and the knowledge drops! Question on emails - whats the tech stack you'd use 1. to create squeeze pages 2. to create email marketing campaigns Cheers
Mate, I'm a sports massage therapist working with combat sports athletes in West London. I've been watching your content and would love some advice on a good lead magnet. Got any advice for a fellow BJJ nerd?
I actually use lots, klaviyo, sendgrid, aweber and mailchimp. PERSONALLY I like aweber the most as its just so simple and their support teams get back to you in person :)
Hi James, do you think email marketing can be used for different business types ? Not specifically PT. I run an electrical contracting business, how would you apply it in that scenario?
I’d probably set up an auto responder so if people enquire about your services they get responses automated and follow up emails until they become customers. Could be worth setting emails up to reengage old customers after a certain period of time
Hi James, allow me to play devil's advocate with you to understand your view on email marketing and branding. Both pose a bit of a dilemma for me, in that it seems to me that waiting to receive an email from someone instead of selling a product or solution immediately, leads to lost sales. Lead gen aside, what is your take based upon data? I feel as if email marketing is just another distraction and it is also very annoying being taken off-site, personally. Someone requesting my email is an obvious lead up to them spamming me later. Not to mention the loss of data privacy. In this world of distracted viewers, depending upon the type of social media, and given your statement about targeting / matching the right type of audience, would you then not think that creators relying on receiving an email (and many even a mobile no.) would more than likely lead to losing a potential customer in the now? I am toying with this analogy now vs all the OG noise online about email marketing and branding. Tbh, both "seem" BS to me, so I would enjoy getting your take on this dilemma.
Hello sir, Nice to see your content you are really doing well❤ . I am a video editor but here I notice video editing part …video editing can convert your content to Next Level and Viral💥 if your videos look attractive then you can get huge engagement and convert your revenue/channel growth 5x more. I also do Thumbnails design, Video SEO and I am a video editor. If your say then I will do for it with 100% satisfaction, its not video editing it about telling a story about your self business or may be the world around in today's everyone try to tell there own story but sometimes words are not enough and the come video editing and I am also able to provide a trial editing sample🎬. So can I ?

Going to apply this for my music, selling beats. Already a well known format within the space but there’s always room for innovation

@@JamesSmithBusinessIs there a reason you use a few different ones, as opposed to one?

Is it all value in the emails, or is it pitching, or a mix?
There needs to be value in every email of some kind yes.

I'm currently at 42 subscribers on a free Mail Chimp plan, have never pushed it hard but makes sense too. Where do i go from here?
grow the list - fire wisdom into their inbox as much as you can. Wouldn't it be better to lose 20 of those subscribers but to gain 2 clients?
