Very clear explanation, nice specifics. Excellent teacher.
Glad to hear !
Thank you sir 🙏
Great video, thanks for the upload I'm a new sub. We normally turn off the NAT on the policy, but good to see it other ways.
Thank you so much for the video! Could you also show us how to connect ESXi to the switch and then connect the firewall? I'm not very familiar with this setup and need to practice for the FortiGate SD-WAN configuration.
Thank you for sharing 🤗👌
You are welcome 😀
May we have more videos in little bit more details about DMZ connectivity from outside, how and why certificates used? Types and examples of NAT for public server access?
Fahad, this is noted. More videos coming.
Thank you!
@@KBTrainings thanks a lot, will wait for the videos.
Can you please make a video on SSL Offloading in Fortigate Firewalls.
Thanks!
Thanks a lot man
Thanks to you Simon!
This could have been done simply calling the VIP object in the policy rather than the VIP group object, right? Correct me if I am wrong.
Also, if you could explain the NAT scenarios (In what case we enable or disable it). Usually, I have seen NAT disabled on Port Forwarding policies.
Hey Harsh,
Will respond when I take a quick look at this again.
@@KBTrainings No worries, Mate
NICE
Thanks bro:)
I landed here looking for help getting Fortigate to work well with Xbox; port forwarded like this and Xbox says NAT is Open but Horizon 4 won't join the online life session for some reason.
Anyway, might be worth a mention the position of the rule as well. If this works like in the Cisco world, and there's another more general rule for WAN1 --> Lab with a deny it could possibly block this rule. Always have your most specific rule to the top.
Hi TechMidas,
You're right, most specific rules are always to the top.
I hope you've figured your issue our and Horizon 4 can now connect.
Thanks!
I have a client that I am trying to do this with her camera system. She has this Fortinet... how do I log into it if she doesn't have the IP adress for it?
I guess you are asking how you can access the Fortigate... If you don't have remote access, you can make a zoom call and have her connect to it physically and you take over your screen to setup a VPN or remote access for yourself.
@@KBTrainings Thank you for that. I am just trying to find the IP for the Fortinet Login Webpage.
Ah OK.
I don't think she has the login credentials either 🙂.
You might just reset it.
i am doing all thing correctly but its still not working
