    Also, safety first. Any lights hanging above the talent will need a safety chain or sash or mason line rated to hold that weight with the correct knot.

      @@AnimeZone247 Everything is heavy when you get into cinema gear. My camera is around 17lbs once fully rigged and I use it almost daily

      @@AnimeZone247 Would you want a fragile light stand holding a heavy expensive light?

      @AnimeZone247 Год назад

      @@AndrewMurphyFilms 😂 no, but I got the kupo master combo stand. I use that for my heavy lights. The stand with the integrated boom pole is like 50lbs, and it takes up a lot of space

    Nice video, love your content. Curious how much weight you had counterbalancing the 720 at full extension. I just got an avenger crank stand and am deciding on boom arm in preparation to eventually acquire a 720. I have 3 15lb saddle bags. Hoping to use one on stand leg, 2 on boom. Would I need a 3rd with 720 in a 90cm lantern?

    Maybe also try one of the new flat light panels with flags that require less of a rig to hold up the light.

    • @AndrewMurphyFilms
      @AndrewMurphyFilms  6 месяцев назад

      Flat panels are great! They usually don't have enough power but. This stand can hold up to a 1200W ligth if needed

      @@AndrewMurphyFilmsalso consider that many of the lights we use, we don't use at full power. If you're more on the go and need an overhead, the fabric led is the way to go.

      Absolutely depends on what you are shooting and where. This is why choosing the right light for the job is super important so you don't overdo your setup @@rickdeckardbladerunner2049
