Hello my lovelies! just wanted to let you all know that ARTEZA have given us all a 10% discount on orders from their website! It's valid till the 31st of March 2019! The coupon code is McKenna2 Also, thank you all for your lovely comments, you guys are awesome! I shall continue to jibber to my hearts content! haha! Also, thanks for the correction on determined. I am an determined to get it right next time!
My unsolicited advice: Please don't apologize or change your presentation style to please anyone but yourself. This is your channel, be as chatty as you like. There are other sources for people to go to if they prefer a different presentation style. I've enjoyed your creative journey and appreciate you talking through your thought process out loud.
Loved your very gracious comments to those who complain. Please don't change the way you deliver your videos. I am a committed follower and thoroughly enjoy them.
HI Elise, personally, I love your jibber jabber. You always offer wonderful ideas, and I appreciate the tutorials that you are including in your videos now! It is lovely that you give those who are not into the chit chat a way to speed through the video while still enjoying the set up. You accent and positivity and infectious. I look forward to your videos every month. 👍🏼
Hi, as someone with various health conditions (some the same as you) it is great to see you leave voice over mistakes in. It's something that people don't realise is normal to us as we struggle with it every single day. It's nice to see someone who is so genuine who has health issues doing RUclips to show that you can do things. You really do inspire me. I wish I could be more like you!! Please please don't change the way you do your videos. They are great the way they are. Plus you gave a great come back with giving information on how someone could speed it up!! My only down point is I wish you could do more videos as I have to wait another month now. Thank you again for the time and effort you put in to doing these videos. Much love
I love your long chatty videos. I also have a chronic illness and it helps knowing that I'm not the only one that is trying to track my symptoms and my chronic illness.
We used to call that lump near the top of the middle finger of the writing hand a Writer's Bump ✏️! I rarely see them now bc so few people handwrite anymore. The level of care and attention you put on your life is iNcReDiBlY impressive and inspiring. Every time I watch and listen to one of your videos I have the idea that I want to write to all the schools in your area and tell them to hire you to come in and show the teenage students how to do all this. Can you imagine if we had all been doing this since we were young?! You would be such a gift to them. I personally love hearing you talk. March will only be my 3rd mo of bullet journaling so I'm still trying to find my way. You are delightfully down-to-earth, and although you are so artistically talented you keep it real 💯. Plus that accent 😉
Now that we know what that bump on your finger is called. What it is... Is a callous. Just like a farmer might get on his hands or a ballerina might get on her feet. Nothing to worry about. 💝☀🌵
I love your style, accent and instructions/explanations for bujo and drawings. Your videos are very enjoyable! Length and content!!!

Hi from France ! Each time, I'm very eager to watch your new month ! I really like your theme for this month! It's really beautiful, simple, clean and very readable. Thanks for your chatting. It's making this video really fun. Have fun using these spreads !
Hello dear, I am from India. I discovered your channel when I was looking for a perfect February setup, and I am very happy to say, I got the best and perfect spreads for me here! I love how positively and simply you create minimalist, yet so beautiful spreads that can be made by beginners like me. Keep spreading positivity and be happy forever. Thanks! 💟
I too love your cheerful delightful jibber jabber style! I agree with your other subscribers-it’s your channel so don’t change who you are and I love that you kindly helped to solve THEIR problem by explaining how to speed through and mute! Your my favorite person to follow! Love that you added details to show us how to do “special artwork” it’s very helpful. Thanks for the discount!
Hi, I love how it turned out. Don't listen to People that criticize your way of filming: it's your style and your laughter is adorable. Be yourself, that's what it's all about. Regards from an Argentine 🇦🇷 lady living in Panamá 🇵🇦
Personally, I like the gibbering! ….....I stumbled across your channel after watching all sorts of Bullet journal stuff and feeling completely overwhelmed. I bought a really expensive best self thingy and now wish I'd discovered your channel sooner and saved myself a packet! I started thinking about and researching journaling in December '18 and then just got freaked out with the getting started and the (eek!) 'what if I make a mistake?!' thinking. This is why the plain dot journals and pens I bought instead of the fancy one are still on the kitchen worktop in their cellophane! However.....I have decided, thanks to your 'totally normal person' vids that I can do it, and, that March '19 is the month to begin - I can cope with drawing flowers, March is my birthday month and I am giving myself permission to use the spreads I like and not the ones I think I can manage without....so, off into the journaling world I go!...….Got any good spreads for rambling overthinkers??! :)
I want to wish you lots of success with your March setup. Don't be afraid of mistakes (I use a pencil and an eraser) I can almost guarantee you will make something you aren't happy with but there are lots of fixes. My very first month was last July and I had some bad bleed through to the next page. It looked awful. So I just drew a picture of flowers on a piece of paper (like I had planned) and glued it over the messy bleed through. It looks fine! I also learned not to use alcohol markers in my journal. :)
I love your chattiness. I adore your videos. I am thankful for your honesty and how you lay out your journal pages to accommodate your life, not the other way around. I also think your description of process is just fine. When I do not understand something I just watch you again and figure it out from there. I appreciate you and the life you work to live with all the complications and quirks. Thank you for being a genuine you here.
Your handwriting is gorgeous! I've enjoyed your setups, and especially all the different trackers you use. I have some chronic illnesses along with a deep grief and memory loss of unexpectedly losing my husband of 22 years. I started planning out of necessity because I couldn't remember what I had done or what I had to do. It's a daily struggle to even get out of bed (and some days I can't or just don't) but the specific trackers you've shared have helped me to make myself accountable even when I don't want to be. Some days I'm so hard on myself then other days I just don't care, so your trackers that sort of 'connect' to each other help me see if there any specific things that make my don't-care-days more or less frequent. My travelers notebook has in a way become my working brain that I rely on daily. Thank you for sharing, you've helped more than my therapist has actually.
K, I'm so so pleased to hear that you are finding the trackers helpful, I know how you feel, I've had many days this month that have been almost impossible to get through, it's been good to have a reminder that things can and have been better, and also to have some practical info on how to feel better when ready to try. I'm so sorry to hear about your husband, I can't imagine what you're going through. Stay strong, you're taking steps to help yourself get better, and that in itself shows that you've got grit and determination. Sending loads of love and virtual hugs ❤
I really appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos. As someone who also has a lot of physical challenges and depression, prone to perfectionism and anxiety, I was not finding the kinds of trackers and semi-journaling that I'd envisioned to help me get my head around my own issues until I found your channel. Great attitude and response to the person who complained, I'm sure I would have taken that to heart and assumed it meant "nobody wants to hear me" and I most assuredly disagree with her. Good for you for pointing out the tools available to help her suit her needs too. I wait to do my bujo until I've seen yours lately, and I've gone back to your earlier vids to catch up too. Anyway, I think you're awesome.
Found the 1st Project Management pages you did! I look forward to the video! I like your explanations for who and why you use your spreads even of they are inspired by others!
I don't mind the talking at all. Your different productivity and health tracker spreads are ones I would love to try so detailed explanations are great. I have seen the other videos regarding that. So hopefully these will help me with getting more done this coming month. Thank you!!
Loving this set up!! I would love to see some of these filled out from beginning to end. I so look forward to your videos and am always sad when they are over. It’s like a great book or movie that you don’t want to end. :) I enjoy the explanations you give and the doodle tutorials that you include within the video. Thank you for sharing!
I found the observation that your videos are too long and chatty interesting. Yes, they’re long but you start right in with your subject material and stick with vital instruction all the way through, sharing a bit of your humor and experience here and there as opposed to thanking everyone under the sun before you ever get to the topic; this isn’t the Oscars. I prefer your videos to most of the others I’ve seen. I do check others out from time to time but I’ve only subscribed to yours. Chat away, Elyse. I learn something every time you open your mouth and enjoy it all the way through 😊
I don’t know why I had never seen your channel but I am in love with your style of journaling and personality. This is a great video and just awesome instructions. I love they way you kept it real I look forward to more videos!
Jibber jabber away, girl, I love it! It's like chatting w an old friend. Right middle finger has a calyst from u writing so hard and the pressure from the way u grip your pen, meaning u grip it too tightly. I have the same thing bc I'm heavy handed and choke the pen barrel. Consider it a character trait.
I absolutely love your videos! So inspirational and educational. Love listening to you talk and Always look forward to another post! I like the length of the videos as you teach, encourage, and make me either smile or laugh at times. Thank you!
I love this and like ur speed and how u explain things and not to chatty. Being from the USA it is nice to listen to ur accent it is calming while I work. Keep it up hun.
Thank you so much for another flawless inspirational video! Not only is your work inspiring and beautiful but how you present things (explaining details) & the meaning behind certain topics are so helpful and relatable! You seem so lovely and genuine & its thoroughly enjoyable to watch your passion unfold & share your creative outlet with us! Thank you also for the pen update...I am in desperate need for some thing as ideal and what you mentioned! You should be sponsored 😉 All the best, Daisy 🌼✌
New to following you, so I am catching up on your older content. But I wanted to tell you, I love your videos! I appreciate your layouts and the effort you put in, but what made me subscribe was you. You have a wonderful personality that comes through. I adore your chatting and laughter. It brightens my day, like having coffee with a friend. So thank you. Let the grumps mute or whatever. It's their problem.
I love your videos and find your set ups and trackers so useful. As someone who is also looking for ways to best navigate, track and manage chronic illnesses, I find your set ups so helpful. Thank you for sharing so that we can benefit from what works for you. I never expected the biggest benefit of bullet journaling to be the information that I gathered about how all of my mood/stress/symptoms/activity were correlating but it's been wonderful.
Actually I like that your Videos are a bit longer because it gives you enough time to explain. And your voice and laugh is just brilliant. So please just stay the way you are 😊
I personally really like that you take your time to explain and go through your spreads. Also Love love love your chat! 😂 Its real, tongue ties and all. Haha
I like that your video is chatty. It's interesting to hear why you change spreads compared to the last months. If you would explain how to draw flowers or bumble bees in a separate video it could be easier used as reference for later or as "draw together" . There would be time to show the pencil sketch of the drawing, too.
Thanks for the tutorial! I quite enjoyed this one, and also the one about bees last month (which I feel I should’ve commented on, as I replicated it in my February bullet journal). I quite enjoy your conversational style, and all of the different spreads you introduce.
This was wonderful. I have to watch it again with sound (the Oscars are on) ... when I sat down to start the March section, I WANTED flowers, but it’s so cold here in Chicago in the States, that I ended up using melting snowmen and icicles. I’m thinking “April showers bring May flowers” going forward.
Lovely as usual! Thanks for the referral for the project spread? I need one and have been working on my on version, maybe his will be what I need or at least provide some inspiration for the one I’m looking for. I love the Frixxon pens as well but tend to use them only for brainstorming and mock ups, not in my actual journal. My reticence stems from the warnings that people have lost important information when their journals were left in a hot car, or from some other source of heat. I’ve never heard of recovering the information by putting the journal in the freezer! Whoever thought to do that was either a scientist that understood the properties of the ink, or someone who was really desperate to somehow reclaim whatever they had written! I will have to run an experiment 5o see if the person’s claim is true. It’s awfully nice of you to so kindly and helpfully address the person that complained about your “chattiness.” Your chattiness is why many of us love your vids! The nerve of you doing what you want on your channel! 🙄 Again, you were very nice. The nicest thing I could’ve done was stay silent. I know you’re too busy right now, but I honestly hope you get a chance to add the other channels/vlogs you mentioned several months ago; most of us would like to hear more from you, not less!
Hi again, just a word to the pen issue. I'm a seamstress and I know many quilters. We've been using pens with disappearing ink of one kind or another for years. When these friction pens hit the market, in a variety of colors, the quilters all went a bit mad with them. The ink disappears when you press the seams. But then ladies would mail in their entries to quilt shows, and once they went through 30,000 feet with FedEx, the marks all came back, ruining their work. So there you have it. If something does go missing, pop it in the freezer for a couple of hours and all Will be revealed.
I have a callous on my middle finger too. I know for me, it's because I used to grip pens/pencils to within an inch of their lives, like I was trying to strangle them when I was writing. I think it was a case of trying to get everything written down before I forgot what I was supposed to be writing. LOL Thanks for sharing your layout, I love it, and the one you showed froma few months ago, where you didn't fill it in properly - I loved that layout - I'm off to look back on your videos to see if I can find it. It was the one where each day had a different "note" paper. LOL
Hi Elise - my head is constantly in shot too! Great setup, as always (pssst, management has another e in it!). My DAILY vlog is 25-30 mins, so a monthly taking half hour is NOT long! I prefer chat to no chat
The productivity level tracker is what I've been missing! I'm going to try it out next month. ❤️ Also, I love the length of your videos, gives me a chance to feel like I'm planning my journal with a friend haha 😃
I really love all of your random jibber jabber. I feel I can sort of relate to you through your videos. Not only because of the cronic illness, abusive ex and such but also because me myself tend to jibber and usually explain stuff in my own words. I LOVE your videos and I always look for a new one. Keep going and being you!!
Love your videos. You are really inspirational and I got many excellent ideas from your videos. I also really like how you explain your spreads and why you do it how you do it. By the way spelling of Management and Improvement ☺️☺️.
I love your videos and find your voice quite soothing actually ☺️ I like how your videos feel like a friend is sitting across from me chatting away with a cup of tea 🍵 Thank you! By the way : management has 2 a 2 e ;) unless that was made on purpose in which case sorry ! No harm meant! Take care🤗
The lump on your finger is from handwriting, that is where the pencil puts the most pressure on your hand when writing. I am not sure about the frixion pen specifically but the disappearing ink occurs with the frixion highlighters. Its due to the formula, when you rub and cause friction on the ink with their eraser the heat from the friction causes the ink to disappear, therefore if you put the ink in super heated environment then the ink fades.
I wish the 3 dots did that on my app, but "report", "quality", "captions , and "help" are the only options. The only way to change the speed on the app I have is to go into the settings and change it for all. So instead, I tap to skip and bounce forward in small chunks and hope it isn't as damaging as just dragging the bar in larger amounts. And good luck with the frixion pens. I have had them fade just letting sunlight hit the closed book through the window. Lost quite a few notes in college on days I didn't think were that warm when I got back into the car. There had certainly been warmer days it had been fine. So, it might play nice a time or two before one's luck runs out. I learned to never use them for anything I really wanted to keep for sure.
The lump is cause by your pen, I have one too, it there because of the way we hold our pens. The fact that you are a heavy handed writer, it's more prominent.
Love your videos! I love the chattering and love how down to earth and real you are in your recordings. Also, some of your trackers have changed my life! I also have chronic illness and tracking symptoms and medications and habits had been so useful for me. What pen do you use to highlight the light grey lines on your spreads?
I love your channel and your designs. You seem to be a very strong woman and it's very inspirational. Also it's great to hear someone naturally laughing and not cutting out all human emotion for a video. Also - what font is that which you wrote 'march' on the first page?
Hello! I was wondering if you would create a font alphabet of the font you use for "March"? It's so beautiful!!! I remember when you used it for February's as well and it's so amazing!!!
I watch almost every Bujo video I watch on 1.5 speed. I still wanna hear what people are saying but they do take a long time. AmandaRachLee talks especially slow I have now discovered, because I still understand her perfectly on 2x speed. However, when it’s the final flip through I actually slow it down to .5/.75 so I can look at it longer :)
I always enjoy your videos, please continue being yourself! I wanted to ask, do you find the ink to last with your Pilot Frixon pens? I’ve tried the stick and click version and the ink dried out so quickly I stopped buying them 🤷🏽♀️
I use the erasable pen When i draw out my pattern for sowing, they disapear When you use a Iron on it. Så i think it has to be werry hot for it to disapear 😊
My only issue with the Frixion pens is that if I've used it on two sides of a page and need to erase on one side, it will erase on the other side too! I haven't found a way around that yet.

So please just stay the way you are 😊
another lovely inspiring video - i've now bought myself a bullet journal so just need to be brave and start drawing in it!
Do it! Do it! Do it!
I personally really like that you take your time to explain and go through your spreads. Also Love love love your chat! 😂
Its real, tongue ties and all. Haha
Wow! So many great pages. Thanks for all the ideas! Love the flower theme as well! I am so ready for spring.
I like that your video is chatty. It's interesting to hear why you change spreads compared to the last months. If you would explain how to draw flowers or bumble bees in a separate video it could be easier used as reference for later or as "draw together" . There would be time to show the pencil sketch of the drawing, too.
All of your lettering is stunning!!
Your March set up looks great! I too love the frixion pens. They are so much nicer than the old erasable pens.
Love your videos and never to long for me. I learn so much. Thank you!
I just came across your video. Wow you are amazingly talented. Just stay the way you are. You are amazing! I’ll be watching and learning.
i enjoyed your jibber too! and lovely spread!
Your flowers are just wonderful!
I enjoy the length and your voice. don't change a thing!
I like your British voice...I also really like your style of lettering!
Thanks for the tutorial! I quite enjoyed this one, and also the one about bees last month (which I feel I should’ve commented on, as I replicated it in my February bullet journal). I quite enjoy your conversational style, and all of the different spreads you introduce.
So beautiful!
💗
Thank you! ❤❤
If something does go missing, pop it in the freezer for a couple of hours and all Will be revealed.
great video. and i like the outgoing music much better than the other track.
I LOVE that your videos are chatty
Thx for the videos. I really enjoy them.
Love your spread!
I would definitely be interest in hearing more about your project tracker/task tracker! I also
I have a callous on my middle finger too.
Beautiful
Take care🤗
It looks like there are different names for it, but I grew up calling the lump a “writer’s callus”!
"I can't pull that off, I've never said that before in my life!" Subscribed for people who can laugh at themselves
I'm not going to speed it up or mute you. I love hearing you talk about the spreads and how it helps you!
The lump is called a “writing lump” it comes from writing a lot and resting your pen there often ☺️
Loveee! 😍😍😍😍
Yes, batch task, please.
The bump on your finger is how you hold your pen I call it the writer's callus
I always enjoy your videos, please continue being yourself! I wanted to ask, do you find the ink to last with your Pilot Frixon pens? I’ve tried the stick and click version and the ink dried out so quickly I stopped buying them 🤷🏽♀️
I use the erasable pen When i draw out my pattern for sowing, they disapear When you use a Iron on it. Så i think it has to be werry hot for it to disapear 😊
I liked the video very much. I have one question though, How did you do the gray lines and the narrow black ones with the same pen?
My only issue with the Frixion pens is that if I've used it on two sides of a page and need to erase on one side, it will erase on the other side too! I haven't found a way around that yet.
Can you explain your productivity level tracker? All of your trackers really
do you keep your bujo at home, or does it go out and about with you ? :)
*Management
I rather like your gibbering :)
What do you mean by 'rub it out'? Can you please show an example?
It's essentially an erasable pen
I don't mind the chatty...
I enjoy listening to you talk and would much rather have someone talking than playing loud noisy music
Great video as always 🌿 I just uploaded my March bullet journal setup, if anyone could go and watch it I would appreciate it a lot ☺️🧡
