🇳🇱-Heerlen is een stad en gemeente in het zuidoosten van de Nederlandse provincie Limburg. Heerlen is daarmee de grootste gemeente in de Oostelijke Mijnstreek, en de vierde van Limburg, na Maastricht, Venlo en Sittard-Geleen.De geschiedenis van Heerlen gaat ver terug. De Romeinen stichtten er een nederzetting met de naam Coriovallum en bouwden er een thermencomplex dat geldt als het best bewaarde antieke gebouw in Nederland. Als 'Herle' bleef de plaats bewoond in de middeleeuwen.

His most famous design, and a distinctive building in the city centre, is the so-called Glaspaleis (Glass Palace), listed as one of the world's thousand most architecturally important buildings of the 20th century.

@@DeniasSusanto Heerlen centrum, de enige redenen waarom ik daar kom is om te winkelen of om rond te touren, verder is het echt een saaie armoedige stad.
