Yo CGS. It's been six years bro and I wanna say thanks for staying true to your channel. There are a ton of narrators on you tube but by far u are skilled and always here to post us a daily story. Thanks for being a reliable break from real life dude
Ngl that was a great story, that subtle build of horror that slowly engulfs an otherwise peaceful situation is what makes a lot of horror stories so good, just wish it was a bit longer.
Good story and narration Crazy kid + very odd aunt and uncle + hell steed = big problem Very interesting one...that ending! Although the colors are different than in the Lurking Fear, the horse has something similar to "The Martense Eyes." Thanks!
Wow. I’m wondering why he didn’t have the cab driver call 911 or animal control or something or didn’t make the call himself. Granted it would be a hard to believe story but not calling someone probably would’ve gotten his uncle and cousin killed. The cousin kind of seemed like the beginning of a sadistic monster brat though.
Lmao I know right, it’s that whole “withholding important information trope” that’s in all horror stories/movies. No wonder everyone always dies in horror movies, nobody knows how to open their friggin mouth and communicate 😂
Just came home from a impressive ww2 remembrance in a Village/ small town called Oosterbeek and in Arnhem, the Netherlands. Thank all of you Allied troops for your service back then ❤And now listening to a awesome Channel with Brett telling a relaxed story❤💋💋
interesting story but also bizarre and inconsistent. NEver explained how it got out, or why it cried blood or why the child was able to hit it, etc. It felt like a series of events without any real connection or overall narrative beyond horse bad
The child is five years old and then six years old, somehow strong enough to leave a handprint on a horse. The narrator somehow knows the child's name when he sees her for the first time. The ambulance coming because of a bite is also weird, lile why they wouldn't just drive her to the hospital? This story is like a draft of a draft. Just lazy writing.
@@rtempest12no its just bad writing. Like they say when Leah hits the horse, the handprint was small enough to be a toddler but then say shes 6. We dont get an explanation of what disagreements the narrator and the aunt have, we’re just told they “continued “ to have them. They give no motive for why the grandmother gives this daughter all her money, the uncle doesn’t even seem to know. They might seem small but they’re really disrupting as a reader. Breaks any level of immersion and sense of suspension of truth that is in fact, NECESSARY when writing horror, sci-fi or fantasy.

After the first interaction between andromeda and lily I thought something different happened. That ending… The word of the day is “Nope” Can you say it with me, kids? Lol
Horses and other herbivores eating other small animals now and then isn't that weird. Deer eat small birds that fall out of nest quite often. Few animals are 100% herbivore or carnivore. Like most things, its a spectrum.
He's only been there a week but Leah has aged 2 years lol (she was 4 when he got there, they had her 5 years ago then she was 6 coming out of Andromeda's stall)
Cool story...odd ending. I'm not sure it was the author's fault. The most reasonable thing to happen next would anticlimactically undercut the horror. "Then we called the cops and the responding officer shot Andromeda. The end."
1 critique: whine or whinny? That one word kept bothering me. Ive heard what I would consider a horse whine and you absolutely know that there is something wrong with the horse. So I would think that Andromeda is whinnying and not whining.
This was definitely AI written. The story goes nowhere, scene focus bounces around. Inconsistencies with the girls age, smiling back at the horse that just ate your aunts face. The bit about the horse crying blood and the child slapping it. You have to learn to catch these tells, CGS. I'd bet money that if you ran the text of this story through an AI detector, it would come up positive.
Again, this isn't a story - it is the premise of one. Great narration as usual but please, can these fractional stories stop being picked for narration? The idea of a carnivorous horse is preposterous, so Andromeda is not a horse, in which case what she is was very poorly explained or explored. And that leaves several plot threads completely unresolved - Andromeda's origin, why the cousin had been hidden from the family, how the family would react to this freak situation, hell how the other characters on the farm react to the freak situation! This had potential but it squandered it all.
Although a completely carnivorous house is impossible, it is a well known fact that horses along with other ungulates have a tendency to be opportunistic carnivores. I have read a few different tales of horses and deer crushing small animals like birds and mice to eat them.
@@rikimaru_vr Do you also have tales of such horses crunching on human skulls and brain matter while both smiling and staring at a relative of its original target? Oh, and sitting in a way described as anatomically impossible for a horse? The horse being carnivorous (not omnivorous as you suggest) is just one problem among many here.
I've been around alot of horses. But I've never met a demonic one or one capable of phasing through solid walls. Or one that was a cannibal.🤔 Couldn't have happened to a nicer family tho.😂

Plus not calling the police will make him the prime suspect.

That story was creepy as f$%k! Excellent narration CGS, as usual.
Why didn't he tell the Dad about the kid slapping the horse? Considering he actively told her off when she slapped the main character
I had to google "horse smile" after this one
Great story. Perfect narration. Thank you 😊

Agreed. This is like a draft story where you're deciding where to take the story before you write the actual thing.

Um…. Ok then
whoever wrote this has no experience with horses, they hunt and eat small animals all the time.
