I hear it most in heavy segments like the beginning with that fast drumming. I could be hearing different sounds blending together and mistaking it for whispering.

@@Enzanorm glad to know I'm not hearing things. If it's just gibberish then that's a little disappointing but it still adds a cool effect to the music. One of the developers made a remark in one steam discussion that they wanted to express the story in bits through lore, dialogue and "song lyrics" rather than up front storytelling and the lyrics remark caught my attention. I only knew of one song at the time that had them which was the intro so it got me listening hard to see if I hear anything but I've mostly heard lines from the intro repeated in some of them. Mainly "erase your light". Starting to think it might've just been an example. But, I like to think the repeated phrases from the intro are implying left over brainwashing still echoing in 106's head.

Theres a piece of intel you can find that refers to the donors being volunteers, but yeah its still pretty horrific
