Antler Art | Outdoor Idaho

Ashley Delonas is an Idaho artist who uses antler sheds in her art. It’s not an easy medium to work with. In order to gather materials, Delonas spends springtime looking for sheds with her family in the Idaho backcountry. Like a hunter looking for wildlife, Ashley uses binoculars to spot antlers on hillsides further than the naked eye can see. After trekking across multiple ridgelines to collect the shed, Ashley takes the antlers home to create artistic pieces unlike any other. Along with antler art, Ashley creates outdoor-inspired art with clay and stained glass.
