Ric . In the movie 12 horsemen. A CIA agent said he landed in àfganistan on mid night 9 / 12 . Each agent carried alot of cash to pay bribes to locate bin laden. That takes guts . Thanks for serving.

Kevin, if that's all you can think of the CIA, then you don't appreciate the air you breathe.

The only individual prosecuted and imprisoned for the CIA Torture Program was the whistleblower himself, ex CIA agent John Kiriakou.

If you don't like how people do things then why don't you try to change it. I see a lot of really good people come out of this. There's corruption everywhere.
And even if there's a piece of s*** somewhere doesn't mean everybody's a piece of s***. You're entitled to your opinion though. I like hanging out here and here with these guys have to say and picking up little bits of information adding them to my own life. Especially considering they're the most elite killers and information gathering people that ever mixed with the fact that we are on the verge of the most fierce Civil War and third World War.
      It could come in handy.
The tradecraft from these individuals and the training that they go through. I don't know what to say but you're kind of ignorant if you don't see the value in that. If I was going to gripe about anything, it wouldn't be the misuse of power they just got to learn how to clean house and maybe hiring a director every time there's a new president is in a good way to do that for stability.... It's the whole recruit the bad guy thing get state secrets. I'm not into that. I like the Cloak and Dagger stuff. Shut the nuclear scientist up forever ghost your way out. Maybe they have somebody that kind of deals with those people after the fact. Like damage control after he gets the house and cash here state side. It doesn't sit too well with me that we give dogs with rabies biscuits and a big pool to swim in.

What he leaves out is case officer's often back stab each others assets if they get jelous the other handles more important figures. I ve seen case officers lack common sense, failed to verify an asset for counterintelligence threats, abuse titles, positions and authorities. I ve seen case officers hold their assets up on a pedestal only to find they were being fed misinformation or unreliable information. I ve seen 5 members of the same family coming to different case officers posing as being non affiliated with each other passing information that collabores each story all because they were making good money. I ve seen assets invited to CIA HQs for lunch only to learn their asset was working for a foreign intel service that was a threat to the U.S. . I ve seen case officers foul up investigations that they reported only to discover child porn by a repeat offender was involved. I ve seen many case officers with egos that got in the way of duty or cloud their judgement. I ve seen civilians, employees, contractors and hostages killed because case officers did not have their shit together when they knee jerked to an operation. Zero Dark 30 is a poor example of Agency operations. Keep in mind that movie was financed in part by the CIA to boost its failing recruitment efforts.
