it would be fun to learn his moveset, if I wasn't forced to repeat the first phase every time, which is useless and boring. In many ways it is reminiscent of Manus, (yeah same name too) the last boss from the Dark Souls 1 DLC, but this one is really inferior: as I was saying, being in two phases is a malus especially for such a long battle, then it has attacks that you can't see (the jump), the spells force you to run around the arena, which is totally not fun, and the hitbox feels pretty off to me.
Ok I did it, after like 50-60 try, I'm not so good at gaming. When he do the bs jump, if you are not under him, try to run away, if you do then you can see him in the air and you can try to parry. It's not super easy, but it's better than doing it blind. I didn't used any reposte, just dodge his weapon, parry the jump, and stay away every time he cast. Try not to go mad, use him like a zen exercise.
this is one of the shittiest designs i've ever seen, it's similar to terrible boss runs, i'm not gonna be able to learn the moveset of the boss and get better at it if i keep having to rely on me getting good rng for the first phase and hopefully not wasting too many of my resources, fucking hell

exactly the same, was just wondering right now if he is maybe one of the easier bosses. He was so cool but if you play passive, wait a lot and run he is super easy. Didnt even use any throwables etc.
I don’t think they play tested these bosses or had beta testers cause there’s no way they would release the bosses like this if they did
It always annoys me when I play an RPG that doesn't let me use a ranged playstyle (my default playstyle), but the enemies and bosses have ranged attacks and magic. I almost rage-quit bloodborne at the Logarius fight, and now here I am facing another ranged/caster boss (after Laxasia). I bet the boss weapon has none of these fancy magic attacks.
Sounds like a skill issue
At least Laxasia's (normal playthrough) lightning throables are easily kicked back and end up helping you more than hurting, here you are screwed (I am at least).
Made it look so easy but doable im just smooth brain lol
Lol of course he didn't do that jumping attack whatsoever for you. Nice tips though thanks man.
I can guard that but only with two dragon sword RT. Basic block and be hits me every time
Run away from him when he jump, then you can see him in the air and parry, otherwise you have to do blind
@@_Alieno_ I found it easiest to just memorise the timing of it, you can get a free charge attack in afterwards if you parry it.
@@madsines5301 yes yes, one way or another you must parry that. For the others attacks actually I just dodge, beated him 10 minutes ago, running in circle to avoid spell was really boring
i’ve had so much fun on ng+ whooping every boss i’ve already learned but this fight has dragged on for days and i never get him below a quarter health
Its that easy. Used all 10 health.
😂😂😂😂
Second phase used 2 health pulse but the total remain 9 how is this possible
stupid wind
@@prabumani8271 There is an amulet that gives a chance to make a pulse cell use free. I think you need to sacrifice getting the Two dragon sword for it though (it comes from the same boss soul).
@@_DiABLO666 I don't know why he never wanted to dodge it
great video brother thank you, gave me the few tips i needed to get over the hump. cheers
this mf in ng+ just oneshot me with every single moveset, i couldnt even tank any of it and having more than 50k hp , how tf i suppose to beat it
Hey what's your stat spread looking like?
I see you have the extra ergo drop amulet. I think the bosses drop mote ergo with this also, you noticed this?
Second phase used 2 health pulse at start but the total remain 9 how is this possible
Nameless One’s Amulet
At the start of the 2nd phase when you had 9 Pulse Cell charges, how did you heal twice but your Pulse Cells remained at 9 charges?
It’s an amulet that has a chance of not using pulse cells
"This guy isn't too difficult at all."
And here I am, day 4 of being stuck on this guy who keeps bodying me in the second phase. Combine this with the fact I cannot perfect parry for shit despite my efforts.
I almost got him first try . Just stay close he keeps missing
phase 2 is literally just "random bullshit go!"
Thanks!
Oh wow thank you so much!
I don't like how they only leave windows for one attack at a time; it artificially draws out the fight and makes the pace suuuper sluggish
Learn to parry, use faster weapon etc
@@turnbased608 I mean ya you have to parry every attack there isn't like a choice.. you parry every attack or you die. Still not fun only getting one hit in after waiting for each attack string. I admit some of my problem might be because I didn't realize how slow motivity weapons are since it feels so much faster at baseline than fromsoft games. I did ng+ on a dex build and the pace was breakneck; an entirely different experience
Yeah.... That easy right (using all your heals) 😂 but thanks, you've helped through Laxansia, so hopefully I'll get through this as well 🙃
Good luck!
This boss fight was so shit honestly lol. The second phase he just throws everything and the kitchen sink at you.
Watches the video and thinks ok this isn't bad at all. Goes into the arena, and the boss immediately goes into phase 2, 5-6 hit combos without taking a break 😭.
it would be fun to learn his moveset, if I wasn't forced to repeat the first phase every time, which is useless and boring.
Laxasia killed in first try, Simon Manus i've tried about 50 times and cant kill him.
Ha I took 4 hours to beat laxasia... these two hardest bosses by far
@@sean7332
I hope they fix this.
@@Stefan-1978 I've lost alot of patience with this game if started off fantastic, but after about 2 thirds through it became kinda hard for the sake of it, too many second phase enemies with a stupid amount of attack list and the hp is crazy high, the parry system is still kinda broke and hard to determine the exact moment, and when Simon jumps above the camera angle is awful and hard to time it right, plus every boss has to have some stupid thing to make you lose health unless you have items like corruption, fire etc
@@sean7332
The final Boss is pain in the A.
The bosses are stupid ,but with a wall of health and the deal damage like a Wrecking Ball.
I hope this will be patched.
Great game with great art style but its hard as hell.
@@Stefan-1978 Im still determined to beat it, it would be an achievement for anyone to finish the game without patches, only 1 percent on Xbox have been the boss before this one
First time beating him and I can honestly say. Hands down the most annoying and tedious 1v1 boss fight I've ever had the displeasure of facing.
you take so much less damage than me even tho my defensive parts are even better than yours I cant tell why that is ...blocking damage too
I think the bigger/heavier your weapon is the more damage it blocks?
This is where I drop this game now, that’s just too much bullshit to focus on. This is not fun this is just whack. The boss is not difficult at all, you just have to run away 5 minutes until you can land a hit. That’s not fun.
PS: don’t hit me with the git gud. My most tries was on the worm thing boss in the capelle. Around 10 tries.
I second tried laxxias or what the name is
Oh yeah lexasia from the second try 😂😂😂 you should’ve picked champion victor or another boss to make it believable Git gud
thanks for the info and how the hell did umake your pulse cell purple ?
Never noticed it was purple, probably just P-Organ upgrades.
@@Grohlvana huh just curious as ive seen it be green and red for other peoples videos but mine is stuck as like a neon blue
There’s upgrades to how much heal it does I assume it’s that
i have them and its still blue so not them good thought tho @@tommyjarvis6987
How are you guarding and not losing health
Perfect guard
Thats what Im saying! I have 10 heals and I got through all 10 in the 1st phase shit needs to be nerfed
I'm so tired after Laxasia, know this shit using magic bullshit 😈
Im using all 10 heals in the 1st phase
Tough fight! Even in this guide you got 16 heals off and barely came out on top.
I need to have 2 specters in my game 1 just isnt enough
I honestly did not enjoy this boss or the previous, even after beating them they just felt cheap
Same.
Ye only boss in the game really giving me trouble he just keeps spamming the explosion, the corruption chasing orbs and hammer at same time with no way to really counteract it
11:45 👏👏
On my first run i got this fucker on 1st try... Im on my 4th run and it been a living hell.
On NG+ i lost my shit.... Took ms like 10 tries for Laxa but 30 for Manus.
When i fight him he throws way more tracking orbs and the daggers that follow you way fucking more. This looks tame compared
Stats?
Tell me how i just managed to defeat this guy first try without having to watch a single demonstration. Actually extatic😂
Can’t say you made that look easy 😂
i got so bored fighting him
just guard then attack repeatedly.
This whole comment section is pure malding at its finest lol. "bro wtf the second-to-last final boss is hard?? Dude what the hell fuck this game"
They nerfed this dude into the ground.
I beat him first try straight up.
RIP to the Simon of 2 weeks ago. I never knew ye.
Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.
The second phase of all these bosses are pure BS and cheap. Once I beat this guy I'll be done with this game, I'm not into Sekrio parrying.
Sekiro parrying is easier tho, because you get more than twice the amount of parry-frames lol
@gabrielg.e.j9060 yep. To think this game could of been so much better if the devs actually knew what they was doing, most of this game just felt cheap and unrewarding.
@@JohnDoe-pu5gk i wouldn't say "unrewarding", but the challange thrown at you was just so aggrovating that the "reward" just paled in comparrison. cheap? yes, the difficulty sometimes felt cheap. the way up that tower had 3 enemies in an ambush position behind a wall. 3 enemies ambushing you in a single fucking section of the game.
@@gabrielg.e.j9060once i beat Laxasia and reached the top of the tower, I just gave up on the game and uninstalled it without even attempting to fight Manus once. I was just too exhausted and wasn't having fun at all. Save for a few bosses that I genuinely enjoyed fighting like Victor and the Walker of Illusions, I just found the rest of the game tedious to power through. I don't think I'll try playing it ever again
Whats with everyone crying here in the comments, just learn the patterns.
on ng + it is so much worse i have 848 health and he pretty much 2 shots me
Im confused whos the final boss nameless puppet or arm of god
Both really depending on your choice
5:56 I don't know how you are playing and commentating 😅😅😮😮
I kill this mf with the fire dagger and the cable of the acid spear, I need to be dodging towards him all the time, It's very annoying
So the guide is to perfect guard every attack… Thanks bro very helpful!
11:46. and its just that easy
The game learn you to block attacks but in the second phase, you have to run away, 6min f*cling minutes along !
I really feel exhausted just at fighting it because the mechanics have no logics, and the red attack in phase 2 who just go out the screen, who’s not a mechanic but a camera problem… how this was actually approuved ? I nearly got when the boss decided to spam wave and lighting spear, 3 times next to the first. I have a regain of hope about this game but when I beat this boss, I will NEVER play it again, or after 5 years maybe when I probably forgot it.
I am really angry about this boss, this is not normal
"Its just that easy" lol
For the people complaining about how hard the game is you need to do two things. first, you need to master perfect guard and then learn the pattem of the boss. Is the only way to enjoy this game at 100% this game is dark souls/ sekiro
"you need to master perfect guard"
well, phew. It was that easy huh? Thanks for the amazing tip.
"Just master one of the hardest aspects in this game, it's that simple"
@@gabrielg.e.j9060 Lol you find that hard? All u gotta know is the timing of every atrack and practice over and over again until u get it just that simple. But i guess u don't wanna do that, just rush the game and finish it. Maybe not your type of game?
@@miguelprime8042 no, i very much enjoy a slow playthrough and exploring every single thing the game has to offer. just that they over-did it with the difficulty a little, the 8 frames to parry something is just not fun. especially this boss right here is fucking annoying with the constant projectile spam, Elden Beast at least was slower and you had ways to go to dodge the attacks.
@@gabrielg.e.j9060 okay I undertand. To me it feels just right, to be honest souls games are the games i like the most and when they're easy i get bored.
@@miguelprime8042 yes i get you. the thing is just, for a completely new developer, this game is incredible and i cant wait to see more from them. I just also hope they take in community feedback and tone down the difficulty at least to a more enjoyable level and making the the game more "git gud" hard like fromsoft did with sekiro instead of "let's throw a bunch of annoying stuff at the player"-difficult.
This didn't look easy at all.
He's a challenge for sure
@@Grohlvana That's right. But your boss guides are great, helped me beat and even bully Laxasia in 2nd phase with perfect grindstone lol. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! Glad to help.
I’m not sure what’s going on here, but your boss fights look very different than my boss fights. The ones in your videos look like they’re in slow motion compared to mine, like your game is in easy mode or something. “It’s just that easy”, you said. No, it isn’t. All the time you spend casually running around the arena avoiding all the things that are coming after you while the boss just stands there and looks at you is not my experience. For me, the whole time I’m running around avoiding all of that stuff, the boss is hot on my tail trying to knock me into next week.
Well this was pre-nerf so he was even harder. Don't know what to tell ya'.
@@Grohlvana Its all good. Im just struggling with him so I’m frustrated. I really do appreciate your guides.
Same here lol. In my game, phase 2 it's non stop... love how here he only do 1 magic at the time... often, im stuck with the hand, the wave, some fireball shooting at me and a AOE on the ground... at SAME TIME. And add the boss moving from one side of the battlefield to my ass in 2sec
That... does not look fun. Far, far too much hp and running around.
Beat him first try and laxias 2nd try
"easy" Btw, yeah sure lol
Not a very hard boss really don’t know what everyone’s yapping about. Beat him in under an hour
Sure thing bud
This boss is unbeatable, I’ve been stuck on this boss for 5 months, no walkthrough helps, Manus ruins this game, people with mods can beat this..
It’s a pathetic try hard wannabe dark rip off!!!
This game is good if doesnt have two hp, its a chore when the "real" Boss is the 2nd phase meanwhile first phase easy like normal strong enemy. And last boss and this one already feel tanky with one bar.
Nah good shit but your definitely doing this the hard way lol
