Spot on. As a “white-passing” “brown” person, I met so many racist so-called liberals. In a way this itself is an example of what Zizek described. It’s the nationalism and supremacy but without “superiors” and “inferiors” explicitly stated
It's pretty spot on. People are people. The more you study history and cultures, travel and speak to people, the more you realize that humans are REALLY the same, despite cultural differences. To claim that any group is better or worse, positive or negative, both ways are creating an other. Something separate from your view of what a normal person is. That's an unhealthy mindset. Though, unfortunately, the human brain is strongly wired that way. That's why education is important. Learning to treat people from outside your culture normally is not really instinctual, but must be learned and practiced in the modern world where everyone can be connected.
As an educated canadian who interacts with natives and has taken native history courses the 7 teachings and medicine wheel do really relate to nature / connecting with the creator. Obviously not everyone is spiritual but elders existed for a reason just like the oracles of Delphi guiding the Romans.

I hope he quit cocaine.
Ohh he loves it 👃🏼
Spot on. As a “white-passing” “brown” person, I met so many racist so-called liberals. In a way this itself is an example of what Zizek described. It’s the nationalism and supremacy but without “superiors” and “inferiors” explicitly stated
"Fuck it, that's life" lmao 😂

bro, what fucking accent is that?
Columbian

Slovenian
Well clearly it is czech accent
Did he do coke beforehand?

Okay, it was a joke. Don’t know why this is triggering you so badly.

The very last sentence hits the point at its heart..
Let's listen to the man who can't control his tongue and wipes his nose while ignoring the question asked of him.
Did this world renowned philosopher steal your girlfriend or something?
@@NourianPeters we share your mom
That was a nice robin williams impression.
Sniffing cocaine without coke 😂😂😂
As an educated canadian who interacts with natives and has taken native history courses the 7 teachings and medicine wheel do really relate to nature / connecting with the creator. Obviously not everyone is spiritual but elders existed for a reason just like the oracles of Delphi guiding the Romans.
My gf is literally native i like alot of what zizek says but ts did not hit.
The subtitles are context life saver
Pornography is a good example of sex without sex. Audre Lorde is known to have said, “pornography is a direct denial of the power of the erotic, for it represents the suppression of true feeling. Pornography emphasizes sensation without feeling”. Rest in power Audrey Lorde.

Idealists are kind of insane. We do this things for pretty clear chemical reasons. We genuinely desire the feeling and taste of beer. We can enjoy that without the alcohol. This is just our mind’s ability to compartmentalize pleasures. Mix and match.
You completely missed the point, did you ?
@@和平和平-c4i Zizek’s point was obvious and also stupid. That was MY point which you obviously missed.
