You can see in Dong Gun's eyes he is still hurt and was trying to hold back the tears at some of the things said. I am glad to see they could talk and Dong Gun can heal his sprit by hearing his father's words. My Mother was harsh like that and I grew up wondering why my Mother didn't like me and we also had a hard time communicating. I carried that pain well into my adulthood so I could relate to Dong Gun in this moment.
There r so many actors and idols that don't succeed....i think it is normal for parents to dislike the industry.....his son made it without any particular talent,he was just handsome and in many ways its still the same.....i can name great secondary actors,they r amazing at acting,but they aren't the lead....the lead/main actor is always the beauty pageant even if he is stiff and bad actor..he is still paid more and hyped more, to succeed in the industry just based on talent is pretty rare, korean emphasise on beauty standard a lot so i do understand his father,his son success wasn't guaranteed, parents think about the future so he wanted for him a good career....
just hug ur family or friends and vent out ur frustration, sadness, it will makes you feel light like some kind of load is out of ur body or mind. You will fee good, happy.
I don't hate this guy presence. He's have enigmatic energy surround him but it's not a bad way. I never I think watch his drama or films before but I'd like to see his acting on any drama for the future.
His most memorable acting to me is at Queen for seven days. Other’s drama of him i watched, its pretty much the same character in different story line. Hope he’s taking more interesting character role in his new shows/drama. :)
His father is right, dong gun is just stubborn & he is old with still being stubborn & he blame his father? Why are blaming your father? You already took the path you want. You still do what you want, after doing what you want stubbornly & now you wanna blame your father. Dong gun is SELFISH
I watched this show when it first came out and only stopped watching it recently, these new people theykeep adding arent funny and just seem so fake like they are trying to look good infront of the camera since it was one of the most highly popular show. The concept from back then and now has totally shifted that it dosent even feel the same anymore.

It’s so sad that many Koreans (I am one too) have to drink in order to get comfortable. Can’t just hug and really talk to each other.
