@musicwith9lives I so agree. Thank you. My issues are from reckless behavior when I was younger. Paying for it now. But I made it to 73 and life ain't all that bad. I met a 19 year old kid in physical therapy in 1983 who was paralyzed from the neck down. The therapist had to stretch his arms & legs out. He was really cool guy no complained ever. I asked him how it happened. He said he dove into a shallow pool and snapped his neck 2 years before. I felt embarrassed because I walked in after knee surgery and walked back out. I ate humble pie then too. Life is like gambing in a casino sometimes. I feel like I lost a bundle but made most of it back. Take care. Aloha from Hawaii.

I truly think that Kenny’s amazing and positive personality was due in large part by his father and mother. Their attitude and love and belief in his abilities without giving him pity or over-protecting him gave him strength and purpose beyond what most young people exhibit today.
What also helped tremendously was the stable and loving relationship between his parents. Kenny was lucky to have been born into his family and surrounded by such love and respect. People underestimate the importance of a healthy two-parent family unit in raising children.
I do wonder if Kenny had a good relationship with his siblings. They are never mentioned in the documentary.

I was sad to learn that Kenny has passed away at age 42 but, watching this documentary, and knowing his pain stages, I assume he wasn’t having the quality life he was used to. Rip Kenny! You had no children, but you left many of us your legacy of endurance, positivity, and approach to problems a normal life can bring us. Kenny seems like he was a wonderful man, he was so deserving of someone who truly loved him, I think the first wife did but they were just so young, but that second girl took off as soon as his money ran out, there was nothing keeping her from working. I’m happy he got to live out his final years with his parents, I know that was such a blessing for them to have him home.

I’ve been following Kenny for twenty years. Since I was a young child. I don’t have the same problem he had but I was born with a very rare heart defect. I wasn’t supposed to live at all. Every checkup. That was every three months they told me I didn’t have long left. In tenth grade I was told it had gotten very bad and I needed experimental surgery. I did have it. I was one of 64 who had it. I was the last person. Half of them died. And 15 others had sever complications. I lived through it. I joined the marines. Didn’t say a word. Don’t let the drs say you can’t do something. That’s what pushes me. It’s incredible Mr eEsterday pushed through with all he dealt with. It’s sickening he passed away. You are missed everyday Kenny. Love you brother. I’ll see ya when it’s my time too

God, may i meet a man with a heart as wide as Kennys. I can see why he had no trouble with the ladies, those parents raised a true man. Makes me so sad to hear that he didn't find himself attractive, when he was a standout in any room and it's not because he didnt have legs. It was the fire in his beautiful eyes. Who else could possibly claim that. ❤

A truly inspiring young man. I remember him from Jerry Springer, and always wondered about you-know-what also lol. I'm glad this was clarified. God bless his parents for standing by him and just letting him "be". What a special love they had for this special man. It's sad he only made it to 44, but he crammed more living into his short life than many people twice his age! May he rest in peace.
