- We visit the beautiful seaside town of Robe, South Australia on the Limestone coast. Robe has many historic buildings made from limestone and sandstone. We enjoyed a superb fireside dinner at the Caledonian Inn on Victoria street, this hotel was first built in 1858. We had coffee and a delicious sticky bun at the Governor Robe cafe in the main street. On our second night we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Robe Inn right opposite the waterfront. We explored the Old Goal Ruins on our way to the Robe Obelisk. The Obelisk was built in 1852. We stayed in a newly refurbished cabin at the Sea Vu Caravan Park. The cabin was modern and spacious and enjoyed a fantastic view of Guichen Bay. We walked around the old Robe Customs House and then took a look at the Lake Butler Marina. We will definitely come back to stay at Robe South Australia.😃
