What is with all these comic shots where Superman looks pissed off? Have they made superman "grimdark" too along with the rest of western media? That's totally against the essence of the character. He can be serious and intense at times, but the basic attitude of superman is one of joyfulness and happiness. He loves Earth and the people of Earth and he sees the fundamental good in people. He's also so powerful that he rarely has to be "Mr. Super Serious" unless against a truly dangerous foe like Doomsday.
The only villains I could see Superman get truly pissed off at is Doomsday, Darkseid, Zod, and any other villains that can truly go toe-to-toe with them.
