My lesson for beginner basically playing skill, teach them short measure that the song that they like..and write them down on their notebook, my own way of writing system for them to rem how to play. Method book, usually last 15 to 20 mins of the lesson as I find out most student don't really like to read. I will slowly increase the reading part as they process in a few months times. I like your point of joining the dots together , I will try when I using the method book, cos some pieces very short , only right hand, can add on some harmony. Thanks for the tips, love all.
