Ribbon Guide: Pull a piece of ribbon 8 inches tall and fold over 3 times. Twist at the end and push through the wreath form.
**Further clarification about the ribbon sections: When I say 8 inches, I mean start pulling the ribbon off of the spool until can fold the ribbon over one time and have the first 'loop' be 8 inches tall, then just pull enough ribbon to repeat that process two times for a total of 3 'loops' and then cut the ribbon. It will come out to being roughly 48 inches long for each little bundle that you make.
I used roughly 15 feet in total for each wreath section. There are 4 twisted bundles per wreath section. This 24 inch wreath had 12 sections, so 12 sections x 15 feet per section came out to roughly 180 feet of ribbon. I had to buy 3 rolls of 75 foot long ribbon, but I only used less than half of the third role. Hope that helps.

These are very cool. I especially love how quickly they came together and they are perfect for beginners. The end result is so expensive looking ❤
Thank you. I am so happy you enjoyed them. Yeah, I have to stick to the beginner friendly DIY stuff, because I just do it to relax, so I always try to figure out the easy ways to do it. We just took that red wreath off of the front door yesterday to start taking down the decorations. Every year, I love pulling it out. It's so beautiful. Thanks for watching and commenting.
that trick of folding, cutting and pulling through is so much easier
Agreed. It’s so much easier.
So glad I found your trick!!!
Good tip on the Buffalo plaid wreath

I love the idea of the tree bark on your wreath. Priceless memories
Yeah it just kind of came to me one year. I hope they treasure that when they are older. I know I would love to have something like that from my childhood. I’m glad you loved it too. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Wow I think the way you do the wreath is the easiest one I've seen yet. Thanks so much
That’s exactly what I love about it. I hope you enjoy yours too. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Looks easy, love this wreath
It’s ridiculously easy. We have ours hanging on the door right now. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Beautiful

I see these metal wreath forms in all different shapes and sizes all the time when I film my Dollar Tree videos. I’ve wondered about all the ways people can use them. This is a great idea. I love how it turned out. I’m learning new ideas and skills from you! Your talent is inspiring. I am Happy to be learning and growing together with you.
Awww thank you so much.
I like this method because you can interchange colors.
I made a wreath from your instructions and my friend LOVES it. THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW HOW TO DO THIS❤️❤️❤️
That just made my day. Thank you for taking the time to share that with me. I am so happy that this worked out for you. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Did my 1st wreath using this tutorial. Thought very good instructions. However. My wired ribbon from Hobby Lobby wouldn't stay twisted. I had floral wire & wrapped where I twisted it. Worked great! Love my wreath. Wish I could add a pic.
Clever the way you make the ribbon go through. It looks beautiful too, I love it. From Cathy in the UK. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 2021 xxx

Thank You for sharing this. That is clever, so much easier than the way I've seen it done before. Unlike the other way (which I've never tried), I will be trying this way. Thanks again for sharing.
Very nice
Loved everything, just wish I could have been able to see more of your project as you worked. 💞
That's looks a lot easier than others I've seen and very pretty. I subscribed while
I couldn't agree more. I just wanted an easy way to do it and this works like a charm. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching and commenting.
That is awesome, love this technique. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent way to make wreath. I was learning the other complicated way. Forget it now. You’re funny too. Thanks
Aww thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I literally could not do it the other way, so I had to figure something else out, hence this technique. Hope it helps you to make beautiful wreaths. Thanks for watching.
Love your channel, first time here
I absolutely love this technique Thank You so so much for sharing your amazing technique 🤗🤗👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎉🎉💖🎀🎀
I am glad I found your tutorial! I am new to trying to do the ribbon wreaths and have a time pushing, pulling the ribbon through and twisting! I am going to try this.
You are so welcome!
Loved that trick on the second one! Thank you!
The trick is awesome just awesome
Smart !
Not sure when you created this and I hope you are still active. I love that second wreath method but it's hard for me to believe that those twists dont come undone. I sell my wreaths or give them as presents and I would hate to have my wreaths come apart afterwards. I appreciate your time and your sharing your talents and ideas!
Yeah, I can see your point. Mine never came undone, but I am very careful with it. Im glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Colonoscopy? Lol. Hey even snow people should b checked out. Oh you r funny. Ok, I love this wreath technique. It turned out great. Love your vids, n look for more. Tyfs, i send love

You are a genius! Really that technique for the wreath is wonderful thank you for sharing!
Thank you. That is very sweet of you. I had to figure out a way for normal human beings to do this. I just could not do it the way that I kept seeing all over RUclips. I’m glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@RaphaelaLaurean are you kidding... I love it! thank God I found your channel because I agree with you the other technique was to complicated. ❤❤❤
Omg I’m so glad I found this video! It’s so much easier your way. Thank you!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching.
Omg that is the easiest wreath I've seen done. Genius. Thank you.
I loved yr 4 loops ribbon wreath. It was explained very well, thank you. I'll definitely try it. Have a healthy and happh 2021
I love it... Thank You for sharing sure a easy way to make it..
Aww thank yoo. I just knew there had to be an easier way to make these things and after so many failed attempts at other ways, this just came to me. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Neat , beautiful and creative way to make a wreath that looks so good , thanks for sharing this with us 😊
I love that you gave the snowman a colonoscopy 😁
I like how you keep the cost down. These look great!
Thank you Stacie. I love trying to create things with as little cost as possible, so that just about anybody can recreate them if they want. Thanks for your kind words, for watching and commenting.
I just saw your video (it says you did this 2 years ago) and that is frickin GENIUS!! I can’t wait to try it. I hadn’t done wreaths because they seemed so complicated. This looks so simple and yet so beautiful when done.
It's literally the easiest way. We make them all the time. I am so glad you enjoyed it. I hope you make something beautiful. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Thanks. I've been intimidated by making wreaths with wired ribbon that have beautiful patterns. Now I feel I can do one without totally messing up. 👍🏽
With this technique, you can totally do it. I am so happy that you feel empowered to it because of this video. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Love your technique!!!!💕💕
I cannot thank you enough for this video!!! I've watched umpteen million wreath videos and have yet to make one bc I am super intimidated. Your video makes me think I can actually make this one, I can't wait to try it!!! Thank you for your detailed comment below on loop size and length, that really helps us figure out how much ribbon we need. Also, I Love your idea for your family wreath, that is such a sweet idea ♥️
Hey Becky, that comment just made my day. I am so happy that you are going to try to make a wreath with this method. Trust me, you can do it. I was so excited when I figured this out. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Raphaela Laurean ♥️
Genius
Thank you. I hope it helps.
@@RaphaelaLaurean it sure did made me want to buy ribbon to try it, I will eventually tho you made it so simple
Love your technique! I needed an "o" for a sign I made. I used an 8 " ring using 2.5 inch mesh! I used zip ties!!
I love the tips sooo.. helpful!
I found your DIY for an easy "bubble" ribbon wreath and I'm so happy I did. Thank you so much AND I'm super happy you provided more info on the sizes for cutting the ribbon to make the "bubble"! 😀
So glad you liked it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I love the 3 loop ribbon hack and will definitely try making a wreath like that. However, you never mentioned how you attached the batting to the wire wreath. Can you please let me know? Thanks.
Sure. I just wrapped it around the wire form until it was S thick as I anted it and then I added a string of hot glue to seal it to itself. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@RaphaelaLaurean thank you so much!! That helps out a lot!! I can't wait to watch more of your tutorials!!
Ribbon Guide: Pull a piece of ribbon 8 inches tall and fold over 3 times. Here is a bit more clarification about the ribbon sections based on some questions that I have received. When I say 8 inches, I mean start pulling the ribbon off of the spool until can fold the ribbon over one time and have the first 'loop' be 8 inches tall, then just pull enough ribbon to repeat that process two times for a total of 3 'loops' and then cut the ribbon. Raphaela Laurean
Thank you very much 🎅🏻💕
Thank you for the ribbon measurements. I want to try it on a 14” wreath form but only have one roll of 75’ ribbon. I hope it’s enough. You did an awesome job!
Lisa E I actually made a 14 inch wreath the other day using this technique. I only used half of the 75 foot roll. Hope that helps.
@@RaphaelaLaurean great. Thank you. How did you hide all the twists in the back? Mine keep coming out (falling back from the front). I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’m trying to find a way to secure them on the back.
Lisa E Because they were shorter pieces, about 4 inches tall, I actually stapled them at the base of the three pieces instead of twisting them. You can see what I am talking about in my video this Wednesday. I hope this helps.
OMG!! How cute is that. I will definitely try & make it, I love crafting☺thx 4 sharing 👍🏾👍🏾.
Yulanda Maynor You are so welcome. It was just too easy not to share. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Super nice and easy. How much ribbon did you use. Ate these these the small size wire wreath or the large ones?
I honestly don’t remember at this point, because it was so long ago, but I put all of the info in the description box under the video. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@RaphaelaLaurean I will figure it out. Thank you!
Very cute❤️❤️❤️
I love the wreath! Seems so easy! Hi from Tennessee. Just found your video and enjoyed your sharing!💕😊
It was a breeze. We will be making more this year. Glad you loved it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
How big are your loops and don’t they come apart when your fluffing
They are about three inches and no, mine don’t come apart when I’m fluffing them, but even if they did, you could just retwist them. Each year when we pull it out and fluff it back up, I have to resecure three or four pieces but the rest are perfect.
I would like to see if you could make a 8 inch wreath,I have them and would love to use it as a centerpiece with candle in middle.could I use same method you did with buffalo plaid ribbon ?
The first 10 seconds I'm thinking to myself, "oh shit.... She's good!!!!" 😘❤️❤️❤️
VERY very clever!!!! I love it 🤩 thank you for sharing 😊
Wow!
love your technique is totally right for me. I am paralyzed from my biceps and deltoids' so it's very hard to use my left hand to go in and out but with yours it totally makes it easier for me. Thank you for sharing, going to make my first wreath ever.
This makes me so happy. Thank you for telling me this. Happy holidays. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thank you for that awesome idea you sure do make it easy I really enjoy watching you both of those projects were wonderful I think I will make some for Christmas to give to my family thanks again 👍👍🎅🌲💐❤🤗
How long are the black/red ribbon stripes?
Hey Nicole. Here is the info. Ribbon Guide: Pull a piece of ribbon 8 inches tall and fold over 3 times. Twist at the end and push through the wreath form.

How long are the 3 ribbons after folding?
I really don't remember now, but I put all of the specifics in the description box when I filmed it. I hope that helps.
Looks easy enough for me to attempt! New sub and thank you for sharing!
It's incredibly easy. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and subscribing.
Very easy to follow step by step. How long are your ribbon when folded? Thank you for making and thank you for answering 🎄🎅🏻
Hello Jill. They are roughly 8 inches tall each when folded. If you look in the description box below the video, I put a lot of the technical stuff there. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching and commenting.
What if I have 18 inch wreath but only 3 wires how do I do a burlap wreath?
I just saw this video...love the red and black ribbon wreath....how wide is the ribbon?
It’s 3 inches wide
All of the measurements are in the description under the video. Thanks for watching. ❤️

Love it. Just want to know how many folds per section? Great job!!! True time saver. Super fast and cuts time in half which is great
Glad you love it. It’s just three golds per section. Thanks for watching.
This is a awesome idea!!! Love this
Terrific idea! What is the width of the buffalo check ribbon?
Hello Linda. The ribbon is 2.5 inches wide. Thanks for watching and commenting.
How wide is the ribbon ?
Hey, I put all of the specific details in the description box above, but here are the measurements. Michael's Ashland Wreath 24"

What about the back...Did you secure the back?
If you mean the ribbon, yes I just got glued it closed.
Sooo cute!! Love them! I just subbed you!
Aww, thank you. I'm glad you loved them. Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing.

Has anyone used this method on a smaller wreath form? Like say the ones you can get from Dollar Tree? I think the larger sizes are 12" and 14". I was wondering if the "loops" would still need to be 8" or since the forms are smaller, should the "loops" be slightly smaller also? Thanks for anyone's/everyone's input!
Hello Deb. Right after I made these, I created a few on the Dollar Tree wreath forms, which I believe are 12 or 14 inches. I used the same size loops and it came out beautifully. It was really full looking, but if you wanted it to be a little less ‘extra’, you could always just use about 25% less length for your loops. Let me know how it turns out. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@RaphaelaLaurean TY!

What size is the ribbon?
It’s 3 inches wide.
That size ribbon is hard to find in the store…can I find it in your link?
I've just started watching yr wreath making video, it looks very promising and beaitiful but but yr camera movements make me dizzy.
Can't hear the video
Your audio is terrible.
Yeah, well they aren’t all perfect. I was trying to show the concept and lots of people have enjoyed the technique. Sorry you chose to focus on the audio. Thanks for watching though.
