Awesome display of musicianship and showmanship. This makes me want to jump on the first thing smokin. Actually, I'm a little jealous and wish my home St. Louis could get together like this. Big ups to Nawlins.
When I view this great band playing in the Quarters, it makes me want to move to the Quarters so I could catch these guys doing their thing. YA'LL ROCK!!!

Old folks in 'Nawlins got more rhythm in 'em than these young cats...people need to CONNECT with this man...'Nawlins, the HOME of musical styles you love...whether it's Jazz, the 'One' or even the islands who received all that soul goodness from 'Nawlins radio shows, this city and it's music is the PORTAL to EVERYTHING you love...CONNECT WID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really like how these guys just show up. I mean some guy with a souzzaphone would walk up and start a base line, and then some dude would come and plop a seat down with his portable drum set in his lap. and then the whole team would join in. The song builds bit by bit within the space of a minute. It permeates the walls of every restaurant while you eat, and it never gets old or annoying. NOLA is incomplete without this kind of sound somewhere.
@haglock1992 spoken like someone who was born in 1992. Others may sound better to your ear, but that doesn't mean ya'll didn't get the swagger and sound from the N'Orleans. It's fine to have an opinion, just make it at least somewhat valid if you're going to post it. BTW I've been to Philly, and south Jersey, in fact my band was on Youngblood Records, which was based in PA, and never once did I hear brass and feet stomping around like in my sister city. Sorry bro, you're on the east, deal.
Rebirth les meilleurs............ C'est sur !!!!!!!
