I've come to learn that there was a lot more to the story during the Kaysar and Ivette fight: Ivette said something VERY awful to Kaysar which is why he looked so angry, however it wasn't edited into the episode. I knew of the incident beforehand, however I never actually put the pieces together and realized that it occurred during this fight, so I apologize if I sound misleading during the clip - I just genuinely didn't recognize the full context and that's my mistake

(I like Rachel btw, so this isn't shade just what happened). Their fight was way more epic even though Beau and Janelle gave incredible moments in the fight, Ragen freaking was iconic during that fight with her when she came back in the house for 24 hours. It will for surreeeee be on the list.

Janelle from season 7 onward was a great BB player; the whole cast of BB6 was crap though. Yes the "Friendship" alliance was toxic hypocritical but Howie and Janelle were full-on bullies. Janelle matured by BB7; Howie hadn't....and Boogie calling him out on it at his exit was great.

She made a lot of comments about Kaysar being Muslim throughout the season calling him “Osama” and I think her “you have no respect for women” comment was another thinly-veiled dig at the expense of him being a relatively devout Muslim.

Fights are so rare now, for better or worse, that watching this reminds me of the two or three different types of fights. I remember the Lori and Danielle fight so well, and fondly, then there are other "fights" that season, like Marcellas berating Amy, that I couldn't watch then or now. BB2 was along the same lines - you had some extremely personal and difficult moments that just never should have happened (like the stuff with Autumn and Shannon), the big personality clashes (like Kent vs Hardy with Hardy's shift to the dark side), and then the just plain fun moments (like when Will would wind Nicole up and she'd lash out at him). It's a cliche to say, but I don't think social media today could handle that type of show...although I do think they might enjoy it more than how hollowed out the show can sometimes feel, because this era had real people, real storylines and relationships, not something that could be edited with sound effects or wacky music.

I love the fights and I am a Janelle fan BUT once she actually put hands on Beau I am surprised BB didn't step in knowing both were drunk and getting physical. BB has removed folks for less than actual hands on (as we saw in this video even overly aggressive attitudes or throwing furnature can get you booted) and rewatching the fight that I always found funny, it now kind of didn't age well. I am glad they friends IRL now though so obviously if they moved on then I should too but in terms of player safety, BB not stepping in to separate them or reprimand (or remove) Janelle and possibly even Beau as he too put hands on her is odd. Then again, it made for some good TV. Give the players more booze!!
In this era of the show it didn't seem to matter as much unless they thought real violence was going to happen. I think Willie and Joe getting into it in BB14 was when they became stricter. In cases like Scott's in BB4 it was, if I remember correctly, many things, not just the furniture.
@kengeorgejones6855 totally, old school BB was less concerned and let things play out. They probably also just felt both were drunk and both touched each other so it was a no win whatever they did. And since the audience was going to love it and get views, they let it happen. Now with risks of liability being a big deal, they definitely enforce rules way more. Different times for sure!

In most seasons I think Janelle and Beau would have been friends. BB6 was just a very polarized dynamic from early on and there was no backing down.

I think part of the reason Maggie disappeared after the season was she was so close to Ivette. Ivette was HORRENDOUS on the season.

I remember being shocked that Jordan charged Russell and literally bumped chests with him screaming. I don't think even Russell expected it

My predictions, BB8= Dick vs Jen, BB10= Keesha’s birthday, BB11= Russell vs. Jeff, BB12=lifevest, BB13= Shelly vs Jordan, BB17= Audrey vs. Da’Vonne, BB18= Paulie vs. Da’Vonne, BB19= Jessica/Cody vs. the house, BB20= Bayleigh vs. Tyler (more intense than Rockstar vs. Brett), BB22= Christmas vs. Bayleigh and Da’Vonne, BB23= Kyland vs. Xavier, BB25= Felecia vs. Jared and Cirie.
tbh cory vs. jared was better just bc it went on for HOURS.

I love the fights and I am a Janelle fan BUT once she actually put hands on Beau I am surprised BB didn't step in knowing both were drunk and getting physical. BB has removed folks for less than actual hands on (as we saw in this video even overly aggressive attitudes or throwing furnature can get you booted) and rewatching the fight that I always found funny, it now kind of didn't age well. I am glad they friends IRL now though so obviously if they moved on then I should too but in terms of player safety, BB not stepping in to separate them or reprimand (or remove) Janelle and possibly even Beau as he too put hands on her is odd. Then again, it made for some good TV. Give the players more booze!!
In this era of the show it didn't seem to matter as much unless they thought real violence was going to happen. I think Willie and Joe getting into it in BB14 was when they became stricter. In cases like Scott's in BB4 it was, if I remember correctly, many things, not just the furniture.
@kengeorgejones6855 totally, old school BB was less concerned and let things play out. They probably also just felt both were drunk and both touched each other so it was a no win whatever they did. And since the audience was going to love it and get views, they let it happen. Now with risks of liability being a big deal, they definitely enforce rules way more. Different times for sure!
