Thanks for sharing your experience bro, it has been really insightful watching your videos concerning Forwardair/Covenant trucking company and how they operate, THANKS💯‼️👍🏾
This is trucking my guy..obviously you haven’t been driving too long so it will be a bit of a learning curve..now a days the miles don’t matter especially when you get into those jobs that pay a guarantee..I’ve made $3200 in a week as a company driver only driving around 2k that week and the rest was in guaranteed pay, layovers, and detention…one thing I will say is if you want to make money, get your rest and haul asz at night sometimes…truckers drive whenever the load is due…if you’re only driving in a 16hr window when the sky is blue out of a 24hr day, don’t expect to take home 2k a week or nothing close to it…just my opinion from a seasoned driver…good luck bro‼️
I've been driving for years. But the majority of it was with the military so coming to a civilian job was not pleasant. Landair was just a crap company, as was the first company I drove for. I left Landair just before my 6 month mark. Now I'm doing L/P with a different company. Just past my 6 month mark here and I can't see myself leaving. This company actually gets to know their drivers, give us good runs, get us home when we need to be, do cookouts for us from time to time, give us rewards for clearing certain mileage each month, etc. I don't think I'll ever leave this company with how everything is working out.
I appreciate that. I definitely try to. I need to make a new video here soon about some more stuff that's been happening. There's just more and more every week with this company.
I'm still alive. Heading to TX. I've been meaning to put up another video. Just been really busy between driving and working at home during my off time.
@@brantclyde6166 It can range from $0 up to a couple thousand. Not a direct answer, but there is a lot that plays into it. How many miles you run, how much fuel you fill up, personal escrow accounts set up, behind on payments from time off, etc. Simply put... I've made as little as $100 before. I had a really bad week with 1,800 miles and fuel from the prior week and next week deducted. The fuel I did on purpose so it was my fault to go that low on pay. I've made as high as $2,200 with 3,200 miles. If this week goes right I’ll have 3,900 miles. But the fuel for this week will affect the pay because fuel prices went up all over the place. Now those are the net pays. Gross I usually average around $5k. The $2,200 check was a gross of $6,300.
What's up shadow,I'm at prime for about 4 years now, and about to start landair orientation Nov 1st , and I'm doing the I-95 pacific something route georgia, anything you can give me heads up on anything
I honestly have no information about the South Georgia Pacific account. I know there was someone running it, but I haven't heard from them in months. My other videos cover just about everything I know about the company. If you have any specific questions, I might be able to answer them.
Being new, sure. Not a lot of companies hire brand new drivers. But once you get about 6 months minimum under your belt, find a better company. I hated that company and left, but you may end up liking Landair.
@@shadowtrucker210 well I’m looking at starting at western express? I’m just not sure what’s going on there. I really don’t want to do the team driving training for any longer than I need to.

No problem. I want people to know what they're going to be walking into. I had no info when I joined. Videos are hard to find for this company.

You deserve better man, its obvious you carry yourself like a professional.

Keep giving them hell bro lol you don’t play at all.. very entertaining
😆 I already left Landair. I drive for RTI now. This company is way better.
@@shadowtrucker210 how is the pay at RTI? I’m headed to orientation in 2 weeks.
@@brantclyde6166 Are you going company or L/P?

Should I go with a different company because I'm thinking of going with this company or should I go with werner
Stay away from Landair. Stay away from any companies that are owned by Covenant Transport. They are more trouble than the money is worth.
Man, you need out! Sounds like you can get hired on anywhere.
Nice vid does landair have cameras on their trucks
Thank you. They do have cameras, but they only face outward and they have no audio.

@@marcusdenning1649 I don't know anything about that company. Most trainer drive time is only 2-3 weeks so it's not too bad.

I called landair . Left a message. They never got back to me
Let me guess you don't work there anymore do you?
Absolutely not.
Do they hire felons
I have no idea. I left them like 1.5-2 years ago.
Jesus Christ!
