You got another subscriber, appreciate your time brother, if you could please break down the settlement & how it works cause I’ve been studying this company for a minute, it’s just a matter of time after I get 6 months of experience under my belt! Thanks & happy holidays
Thank you for that. I'll be doing a breakdown when I get back home from vacation. I meant to do it before the holidays but had a lot to take care of. Happy holidays to you as well.
I’m glad you made it back on the road bro. I take my exam tomorrow at TTDS.. I’ve studied my Butt off and I’m for sure I’m going to ACe it. And I have perfected my maneuvers to the point they won’t allow me in the truck hardly all this week. Give the boy so ready ppl a chance. Hope to see you out on the road sometime. Stay safe and clean on the driving skills. Thanks for the update.
Hell yeah man, I'm glad to hear that. Hopefully your company treats you right and keeps you rolling so you can make that money. Even if you are with a great company, always keep your eyes open for another good opportunity just in case.
@Dj Jones I'm not sure what happened, but all of your newer comments on my other video are gone. It shows that you posted a new comment but nothing is there.
@@shadowtrucker210 sorry. So more or less. I’m still sitting at home. That trainer called me yesterday at noon and told me he finally got a dispatch.? That he would call me at 4pm. He never called so I text him at 5 asking if he wanted me to meet him where we planned on meeting. He finally texted back at 6:30 telling me NO just wait on his call. Lol wtf. And mind you that he told me the previous day to be ready the following MORNING! So I kept my same sleep schedule. And if he would have came through then I would be driving a tractor trailer running up to awake time for 24hrs. WICH is highly dangerous for me and other motorists on the road. For most ppl. But besides that. So I texted him back at 7:39 and said look this isn’t working out. Our schedules aren’t matching and you have poor communication skills. So if you can’t tell me exactly what’s going on right now then I will be calling HR tomorrow, which is today, and asking for a new trainer. He replied immediately in caps and said wait on my call. So I’ve had enough at this point. I blocked his number and wrote a freakin book to my recruiter and basically telling her what I’ve told you. And was as nice about the guy as possible. Like I said I don’t wanna get no one in trouble. I just need the right thing to happen ya know. So I’ll be calling HR today. And not to mention that I can’t get ahold of no one at landair involving this situation. From the past. But we will see today. Hoping my recruiter helps big time. She’s not so bad so far. But I shouldn’t even be talking to her though. Like she has done her job! Ya know.
@Dj Jones Jesus christ bro. Run his ass under the bus. Screw being nice. That guy has been playing way too many games. And texting back in all caps just because you called him out on his bs is childish. He does not need to be a trainer at all if that is his work mentality. Let me know what HR says about all of it.
Looking forward to your next update. I will be starting as a lease purchase driver in mid January. I hope you do a settlement break down to show how accurate it is from what they say it will be.
Oh it's very accurate. I got my first settlement sheet yesterday. You make good money here. I'll be making a video on it here soon hopefully. Might be Monday when I'm back home. I've been really busy with my loads.
@@OnlyOneAGTheGreat It is, but they will keep $1,400 from one of the escrow accounts because you will be breaking the contract. The other $1,600 goes back to you.
hey man i’m thinking about joining soon & I was wondering how you went about fueling, like do you use and kind of formula to figure how how much you’ll need per trip or how do you calculate it.
At the start of the pay period I fill all the way up. My next 2 fill ups are also all the way. After that, I just what I need until the end of the pay period so that I'm not paying for extra fuel that week. A good calculation is to divide your mileage by 7 and that will tell you how many gallons you need to get to your destination. 7-7.5 mpg is the average fuel economy if you're running heavy loads.
I start orientation Monday for lease purchase, I am having to do OTR til an opening on the dedicated account I want comes available but it sounds like I'm not gonna have any worries
My driver code is BACOAN. My name is Anthony. If you send me your first and last name, phone number, and email address to my email, then I can put you in through the RocketCDL app. My email for these videos is "shadowtrucker210@gmail.com"
My payment varies. For the fixed payment plan, it's $738 each week. My payment can range from $600 - $1000 each week depending on how many miles I get.
I wanted to know i been wathing videos about RtI 1 person said they have health insurance for lease and 1 person said that they charged him 1,400 for a early termination of his lease
The company does not have health insurance for L/P like they do for the company drivers. Last I heard was that they have a 3rd party that they work with so that L/P drivers can get health insurance for cheaper than what we normally would. As for the $1,400 charge for terminating the lease, that is correct. They don't take it out of your final paycheck though. They take it out of the $3,000 escrow account that is set up during your first 12 weeks with the company. You never really have that money so you're not really losing it. The other $1,600 is given to you.
Not right now. I'm currently doing OTR, which I'm kind of enjoying. My DM does have a dedicated account that she wants to put me on, but I haven't decided if I want to do that yet.
Heck yeah man. You'll love this company. I honestly don't think there's a company out there that takes better care of their drivers. My driver code is "bacoan"
@Manny Lopez I'll try to get the outside. If you go on my channel I have a video of the inside setup of the 2021 that I was driving. The setup is the exact same in this truck.
No, they only check camera feed if you set it off for something important. And they don't directly get the footage. It's all monitored by some company, and if that company thinks it's important, they will notify RTI/TLI and send the video.
@@hollywoodstacks394No, the cameras face out towards traffic and they don't have sound either. There are a few team drivers that have inward facing cameras, but I think they are getting rid of those as well.
@Dewayne Thomas No, that's for company drivers. L/P drivers start at $1.05. You can get an additional .12 cpm for safety bonuses and some other stuff. I didn't get a chance to do a video on my pay breakdown since I went on vacation so soon, but I will get one up.
