It's only people in this corner of the internet (social media sites) who have heard his name. I've a close friend, with politics quite different to those here, who wasn't aware of him until I mentioned him yesterday. Even then, because this friend trusts the legal system, wouldn't hear he'd been treated unfairly/unlawfully. Don't get fooled into believing that all Brits are consuming the same media as you.
The trouble is, the media gave it very little attention. Few people will have heard about it and it will soon be forgotten. We should try and prevent that from happening, if we can.
