    Feel bad for the homeowner with this concrete installation process. They poured a mud slab over compacted dirt, no gravel, no wire mesh. Curious what that concrete looks like. I would also be pissed with the mortar dust that filled the pool, bet that was fun attempting to clean up.

    That’s interesting how a fiberglass pool is installed. We never had a fiberglass pool but did have three gunite pools installed. Pools are nice but our kids are grown so my wife and I are done with all that extra work of maintaining a pool. Now, we just go over to ourchildren’s home and use theirs and let them maintain theirs.. 👍👍

    That pools gonna need a deep clean! shifting dirt and grit around water is not wise. Could have covered the pool till the end.

      I don’t even see a place on the side for the skimmer, where the water goes into the filter. There are no jets on the sides for the filtered water to return into the pool. I saw NO pipes installed anywhere. There was no gravel put under the cement. If that gigantic toilet looking thing is part of the filter, how is the water going to get into it????

      @@ocherokeeo well it's all there. Have you watched all the videos in order? There is certainly a pump, filtration system all of it. They have already explained some steps were edited out in the time lapse. Make sure you watch all 3 parts.

    Where is the main drain? Be code all in ground pools must have a main drain on the bottom with an anti-vortex cover.

      You don't need to have a bottom or side drain. My 34' x 16' fiberglass pool doesn't have one and I prefer it that way.

    The pool orientation is off. Too close to the house and fragmented, small sitting areas. Why wasn't the pool turned 45 degrees?

      @@gazgaffa8437 Because from being an architect for 10 years and designing many pools, i know that when something is obviously "off" , it's for a reason. I was expecting an answer like, " It would have hit the house's sewer line," or "they need the side yard for..." Since this pool was installed on an existing structure, difficulties are to be expected. Putting your work on RUclips is dumb if you're just looking for accolades. All my criticisms are true. So I wanted to know why an experienced professional would have made those choices. So can you give me answers, or did you just chime in because you think I hurt their feelings?

    Does it feel any different from a cement pool when you're in it? When you step in the shallow end does it feel like it vibrates or anything? Looking into getting a small one, great video! Cheers

    Seen concrete pushed into pull, release powder in pool, no gravel or rebar used. This company really needs to do better. That’s a lot of money. Sure it looks good but the lack of proper install will show in couple years

      We've currently got one being installed and went for an average size. This looks fairly big. Mines costing around 50k AUD.

      Not if they are installed properly. My fiberglass pool was laid on a thick layer of fine gravel and a pipe was installed under the pool to carry ground water up and away from underneath.

      Not necessarily. You can use steel or fiberglass fiber reinforcement. Its mixed in with the concrete at the plant.

    I installed a fiberglass pool at our home in Canada in 2021 and it was commercial construction. For the stone patio as well. Excavated, rock, re-bar, concrete, slabs. The pool has rebar and rocks and concrete.

    when you put all those tons off water in to it --how much did it sink - ( settle ) 5-10 cm - is there drain under it - leave it whit no water in and it rain it,s gonna lift ( flout ) up the ground -make sure to anker it down

    Mist be nice having 10 guys working on one pool. I just had me and one other person from start to finnish out in the florida keys. Atleast yall there don't have to fight back sea water when you dig passed 2 feet and don't have nearly as much inspections as us 😣

    Wow the movement of the pool water is unnerving. Makes the pool look very unstable. And no rebar or even gravel under that concrete around the pool? I see cracks in your future. Not to mention all that concrete dust in the pool! Yikes! Your filter will be ruined!

      There is both gravel and rebar. They have explained already some stuff gets edited out during the time lapse process. You can see those both in Part 1. I love how so many of you are jumping to the wrong conclusions lmao 🤣

      Only reason I could think of is this pool is in a region that requires winterization but they wish to keep the spa open all year.

      I only saw the skimmer. The plumbing was done on the first video, as well as the light conduit.
