if you are to never turn around on a bar, but your never to cross with a breaking wave. could you tell what to do it you commit and then there is a wave that has broken.

Can the bar be avoided at any side of the mouth of the river? I mean, when exiting the mouth would it be possible to hug the south eastern side of the coast? Just happened to see a smaller vessel on google earth looking like it's heading that direction
