  • IBM and Standard Electric Time had reliable master clock-slave clock systems. And so did the Self Winding Clock Company but not much is known about their system. The various voltages and number of pulses per minute are explained. Self Winding was well known for it's master clock connection with Western Union Time Service and Subsidiary clocks but not for it's master clock-slave clock systems.

Great to see another one of your fascinating videos. Your videos did indeed get me into collecting master clocks. I should do a video of my National Time Recorder Master Clock and two NTR programmable slaves one day.

Very interesting Videos! Do you know about the clock System, made/used by the german company "Telefonbau und Normalzeit"? It might be interesting for you, although it's for sure much simpler.

Yes I know about T&N. They seem to be beautifully made. I have seen a few but never had one. Alan

Amazing videos. I too am a former IBMer and history buff. I just purchased a 1919 international (IBM) school clock. Could you, would you assist me in how to get this clock running? I was in sales, and not nearly as technical as you. Much appreciated!!!

Wonderful video as usual Mr Bloore.
How can I get in touch with you ? I have several questions about master clocks in general but I have come across a clock and can not find another example.
I was hoping you might be able to help.
