I saw you are now in Belem at Para State. I think you should go south to Alter do Chao. It is a Village in Santarem, a city that is located upstream Amazon River (there is boat trips to Santarem, but better go by plane). Alter do Chao is bathed by the Tapajos River, one of the largest Amazons River's tributary. Its a incredible place. In the time of drought (October to February), hundreds of small and desert beachs are formed along he Tapajos River. Those beachs with incredible white sand are bathed by the green waters of Tapajos and because it, the region is knowed as the sweet water caribean. Now (March) is the time of floods, so you won't be able to see these beachs, but in this time there incredible places formed by stretches of the rain florest flooded in the Tapajos waters. They called this the Enchanted Florest. Its a place that change along the year but in any time of the year this is incredible and I know you would love to know this place.

This restaurant is really cool! Here in São Paulo we have the Japanese neighborhood that is more traditional with its food and we see few variations with Brazilian culture, but there it is a totally new experience! First video I know of this place! Looks delicious!!!

Belém do Pará is amazing ... what a Top city huh. Lots of Culture, Gastronomy ... to get to know it, you have to spend at least 5 days in the Metropolis of Amazonia. As for places to visit ... Belem is surprising
Brazil, especially the north east, is where you don't need recommendations for restaurants. Just eat anything, anywhere. I remember stuffing my face at the stalls of the markets on the side streets of Ver-O-Peso for almost nothing. Wonderful memories.
I saw in the other video, you guys trying other food from Pará, all I can tell is that for other Brazilians it feels like that is also exotic too. I never tried these plates you're trying in this video, but I tried in the past Maniçoba and I didn't like it. But they eat in Pará like that is delicious, so I think it's all about culture and the place people live in though what makes them love their food so much.

tacacá é uma comida de origem indígena. A comida do Norte e região amazônica só é comum nessa região mesmo. No Sul ninguém come a não ser se for em feira típica ou lugar de comida típica.

that Tacacá looks really nice for a cold day, look really really good combination of ingredients.. there are some Brazilian restaurants here in my city Acapulco but i refused to go cause I had the idea they would not respect the original recipee, but hell, these looks so nice im goig to give it a try. It amazes me the huge variety of Brazilian food, so many diferent influences mixed.. no wonder why here in México they open more and more Brazilian restaurants soon there will be more than Argentinian i think. Both +chinese are the most valued foreign cuisines.

To finish... I live in Belém and my city is not a popular tourist destination, I'm very glad to see you show how great places we have here.... Great gastronomy and very friendly people.

that Tacacá looks really nice for a cold day, look really really good combination of ingredients.. there are some Brazilian restaurants here in my city Acapulco but i refused to go cause I had the idea they would not respect the original recipee, but hell, these looks so nice im goig to give it a try. It amazes me the huge variety of Brazilian food, so many diferent influences mixed.. no wonder why here in México they open more and more Brazilian restaurants soon there will be more than Argentinian i think. Both +chinese are the most valued foreign cuisines.
That is nice to know. For me as a Brazilian, Mexican food is absolutely #1 in the world.
