Really good band. I personally love this shot with the music. Great choice. Terrence Malick is kind of a rogue hero of mine, as far as cinema goes. Malick makes beautiful movies that are never quite standard as far as Hollywood goes. Beautiful none the less, more beautiful for it. So is this band. Thanks for the post.
A few months ago I went to the theater to watch The Tree of Life. Half the crowd left half an hour through the movie. Made me sad that more people are unable to appreciate what a genius Malick is, and the way he can create the most special movies. I'm glad you belong the small percentage who do :)
I had a similar experience. Different, but the sentiment was the same. Long story short - I have this huge Tree of Life Movie press/poster thing I bought at auction in Austin, Texas for $15 hanging in my home "office". It used to be displayed at the Washington Post when the movie came out. Whatever. People come in my computer room & constantly asked why I like that movie. They tell me they don't get it or were bored. I can only tell them that I thought it was beautiful.

This sucks, because whenever you look up California- Girls, you get Katy Perry's sex appeal all over your screen.
This is really weak. Sounds like someone listened to All Is Dream about fifty times and just didn't get it.
