It's unbelievable how the RUclips algoritm is putting up more and more Girls stuff on my recommendations section everytime I open the app... not a complaint, tho I mean... wasn't that the main reason RUclips was made for? Finding hidden audiovisual treasures like this one?

they dont change musicans that much, this video is all the way back from 2008, before true panther got snached up by matador, their permanent lineup is christopher, JR, Ryan Lynch on 2nd guitar, Garrett on drums, They just added Matt on Keyboard - his first show was in SF for valentines day... and myles every once in a while. this song is hella old they never play it anymore, its a totally holy shit rippoff... and its not the gutarist from sic alps in this video
i dont understand i think girls is perfect live? like so much much more than the songs released on the albums that are a lot more "pop" (not necessarily a bad thing as i love both)

A Holy Shit rip off? He was in the band, sounds more like John Maus infused with deer hunter to me. If you pay attention to the melody you can see that Chris appropriated this song to later be "Hellhole Ratrace."

Love this song. Girls had such an "Americana" sound that really made them unique.
Saw Girls in London on the 28th May 2012. They were absolutely marvellous.Glad I got to see them at least once.
They only played 3 shows after that. Definitely treasure that performance.
I saw them in April of 2010 here in NYC.
and then September 22, 2009 they release their debut album. miss these guys
favorite Girls song. lucky that I was able to see them before they broke up.
I think this band could have taken over the fucking world if they made a couple more albums.
