Hi Jim!! Yes, R&B forever!! So glad you enjoyed the show! I went yesterday, the 8/24/23, 6pm show. It was a birthday gift to myself! In so many you tube videos from her concerts I find her Voice and her Musicians incomparable! I was a little disappointed at yesterday's show. The music was a bit too loud; not for my ears, but for the vocals. It drowned out her voice in the 1st part of the show. It almost seemed like the live Musicians were accompanying recorded music!! I'm interested in what you thought!! The 2nd part of the show was fantastic!! Just her Superb Voice, the Backup singers, and the Musicians instruments (the keys, bass, drums, etc.) I'd really like to know your thoughts!! Take care!
I attended the second show on Wednesday evening . The acoustic balance was very good . Lalah became very improvisational at the end of the set. The guitarist and bass player , played beautifully and she had some friends sit in. All in all, it was a great show . The audience was totally into it . My seat was very close to the stage . It helped .

I remember getting her first album on cassette and had I’m coming back on replay all day good old 90s R&b
