@@Vexarax I know. I was a devoted follower of hers on her youtube channel for years. I just never realised the extent of it. I did comment something once when she did something to one of the kids that I knew was wrong and she deleted my comment. It was shortly after my comment and other comments from other followers on the same subject that she stopped posting
It took them 4 hours to get her ready to trust them and walk out of the closet...says a lot
They let her stay there for 4 hours? wow Is she in her parent’s home? Do you know if this was punishment or just some weird “regular” way she was treated? I had some punishments where I was told not to move for any reason, and I didn’t know what to do when other people showed up. I don’t think I would’ve been that quiet for that long, but my sisters and I thought if we went to the police, we’d end up back at home eventually ,and things would get worse. so i couldn’t tell a police man that. it would be a dilemma because the lives of all my siblings was at risk.

She was found in a family friend house. Who was a crazy church lady preaching how you need to change your life and why your going to hell. She was actually a church counselor and was the reason for divorce and broken homes. Which is said to happen here too because little girl had a dad married to her mom but they were separated by the lady who's house this is. But that family was off their rocker too, and in no way innocent.

FACTS!!! THEY BELITTLED HER TO THE POINT WHERE SOCIALIZING WITH THOSE THAT ACTUALLY THERE FOR HELP HER BODY LANGUAGE LITERALLY SPEAKS OF NO HOPE
In court filings, authorities and mental health persons who interacted with the young victims described the victims as being convinced that they deserved any and all abuse they received because they were selfish and evil children. Just heartbreaking to think of all the hours of torture and abuse they experienced.

I'm sure she was terrified of being punished for getting her mother in trouble.

I really admire how the officer got down on the child’s level, softened his voice, and kept reassuring her.
I love how sensitive & kind this cop is to this sweet but broken child. I sincerely hope that these kids are recovering from the horrific abuse they endured, both physically and mentally.
They were sweet except when the 1 Officer said Do you know Jodi, shes out here with us"which you should never tell a child their abuser is waiting outside. Abused kids are always told if anyone finds out it will be 100x worse. That no one will believe you, I know from experience. He may not hv done it on purpose but they should hv known that could further traumatize her. The facts indicated even w/o Russells stmt incriminating her that she did this stuff to them & with his stmt+visible horrific injuries Jodi was the perpetrator & a child would never want to be near them.

The kids have been "tested" before by Ruby and Jodi. They'd send their adult friends to the kids asking "what's wrong? Why do you have duct tape on you" and if the kids told them their mom did it, the adult would report back to R & J and snitch on the kid who would then be punished
It’s been reported that the children were conditioned to not trust law enforcement so Evie’s reaction and reluctance to accept the officers help is t too surprising
That is one of the saddest things I have ever seen. That poor, sweet child is frozen in terror and doesn't know how to trust. What she must have gone through to get to that point.
This child has been gaslit for so long when the police man says things like "I won't hurt you" a victim of this kind of abuse will hear the opposite. After all her own mom had been whipping and starving her for months in an effort to 'help her'. How does anyone believe anything after that?

I saw a part of a video where they were showing what ruby frankie had written down in a journal.
Sick ruby had said that she Cut this girl's beautiful long hair off, 😡her own daughter. I'm pretty sure she started out by saying first, she cut some of it off, And then ridiculously accusing the child of bizarre accusations went on to say how she ended up cutting more hair off untill giving her a buzzcut.

That poor child, just sitting there all alone, not even able to trust the police officers because of those awful parents... thank goodness the cop was so kind and patient
What's crazy is that Jody must have known the police were coming yet instead of setting this child up in front of an ipad on a couch with some snacks the way a normal kid would be, she was in the closet? Like at least try to make it look like you weren't abusing kids geez

I really hope their department ensured access to mental health services/support for everyone who worked on this case, and especially everyone who was present during the arrests & rescue.

It breaks my heart how she is so silent. But if you’ve seen Ruby’s video she also gave the cops the silent treatment. It’s clear she taught them or threatened them not to speak to cops. Meanwhile Jodi freaking calls her attorney before they even knocked on her door. She saw them on her ring camera or something and dialed so dang fast. I’ve never seen an innocent person react that way. Why so quick to call your attorney when you claim you did nothing wrong? Absolute evil in the flesh.
Edit to add: I just saw it took over 4 hours for them to coax her out of the closet! 4 HOURS! Frozen in fear, not speaking. The police ended up bringing her a personal pan pizza and a drink which sat untouched in front of her for a while but she eventually slowly pulled it closer and ate. She eventually ended up eating the whole personal pizza and half a large. Then she opened up to some EMTs and she was able to leave the closet on her own. Absolutely heartbreaking.
Oh, and they called her buddy and asked where the sister was bc Ruby had given her a buzz cut! They thought she was a little boy at first.
When you think it can’t get worse, it does.
Ruby had them convinced that they deserved this treatment, and she was trying to drive the devil out of them 😳😳😳

Yes & I hope the parole board sees how she was acting! I did not buy any of her BS she said whilst being sentenced she’s evil to do that to your own children 😢they both deserve to be in prison & not be out to harm any other child.. this all breaks my heart 💔 those poor little ones.. 🥲🥲🥲
Ruby remained silent which is what everyone should do until you have an attorney. That film would not be used against her because she was invoking her right to silence

She wouldn’t even give verbal replies to questions you answer without an attorney like “do you have anything on you that will stick me? “ before the pat down! She wouldn’t even SAY “I’m not speaking until I get my attorney” she sat in there silent and blinking like a moron. You have to verbally say you want your lawyer. The silent treatment is not the same as remaining silent.
OMG! The younger Franke children were brainwashed not to talk!! The 12-year old boy says “it’s a personal business”! It’s so sad. Ruby doesn’t deserve a lower sentence at all! I hope the oldest daughter speaks at sentencing and states the horror her mom imposed on the children for years!
Also, the other lady took over her teen niece and did these same things to her before ever meeting the Frankes

They brainwashed those children in so many ways, Ruby taught them not to trust police and if the police were to ever show up to not speak to them this is exactly why she is sat there silent and not wanting to leave. This whole thing is just so heartbreaking.

Jodi Hildebrandt's program included teaching women how to act when law enforcement became involved. This was related to wives being groomed to give (false) claims of domestic abuse by husbands.
My daughter was stillborn I would give absolutely anything to have her here with me to love her and nurture her so I will NEVER understand people who are blessed enough to have their children alive & we’ll only to do this to them. Praying for all the Franke children

Jodi Hidebrandt was a psychologist who brainwashed Ruby that cops weren't to be trusted and kids were the devil who needed to be cleansed. I've watched dozens of videos on this and knew what happened to those kids was horrible. But this shows it was so much worse than I could ever image.
This is a very nice and kind police officer, all of them were. They deserve special praise for dealing so gently with these traumatized children. Thank you officers!
50 years ago as a kid I thought being locked in a closet was normal. I can’t believe this is still happening. Humanity is going down hill fast!

ruby's home looked like a hotel room..there was no art, no flowers, no color no beauty no photos of her kids, no drawings her kids made, no life no joy in that home...like that saying u can tell alot about someone by their home...her home mirrored her on the inside...no soul no heart no love just like her creepy bare HOME.

Eve was such a bright light. Funny, charismatic, beautiful. Shes completely broken and to know her own mother did that to her is beyond infuriating. When are we going to start sentencing these parents to the same thing they do to their kids!?
She was so silent because they made her believe she didn’t deserve help.
She hasn’t been able to trust her parents - the people who are supposed to love her most in the world - so there’s no way she’s trusting that this officer is here to help her. Heartbreaking.

Not in prison...even if some of the other prisoners have done similar things to children, all prisoners absolutely hate such people, and they'll make those "parents" wish they'd never been born. They'll administer the justice that our judicial system won't.

@e2renee Most abused kids are loyal. We had a child who was put bare bottom on a hot stove. It burned the mark of the grill on her buttock. She cried for her mom every night and day. True story. Hard to wrap your head around.
Not sure if anyone said this already, but the officer stated the Jodi is outside, as if that would reassure this child. Hard to know if the child would be happy to hear those words or scared that the officers were going to make her go back to Jodi. And a child of that age would probably be confused as to who is good and who is bad, and what is the truth and what is false. Very sad situation for those kids.
He didn't have many details at this point. They found the boy and heard his sister was at the house so they did an emergency break in under exigent circumstances, this isn't their home but the wacky church counselor lady.

The voice of the police officer is so sweet and comforting, those poor children.
I don’t know what the situation was, but I appreciate that the officer got down to the the child’s level and did his best to speak kindly with him. I wish them all well.
Try learning. There is a great deal of info you can find. Use google. And there is also a great deal on you tube. Including the court proceedings

In another video Ruby is talking about being raised to not trust police. She seems to have done the same thing to her children.
It is horrible to see a child with such a broken spirit. She was most likely more afraid of Jodi’s wrath rather than the officer in front of her. It is obvious they have been conditioned to fear authority; Jodi being at the tippy top of their list. 😢
Kids get into the same "catatonic" state as mom. They were trained by her all their life.

Yes, the moment he said Jodi was outside, I thought, that set the communications back for a while.
This is so sad. And her mom shaved her hair as a form of punishment too. This story is heartbreaking, and I hope that these kids can get the love and help they need in order to recover from years of abuse, so they can go on and live a life of their own.

What did Ruby Frank and Jodi Hildebrandt do to this child to make her so scared to move and even be afraid of the police.
A judge and jury could have benefitted from seeing this child being so traumatized she cannot even move.
Look at videos about Ruby's journal, it's horrific what she was doing to them

This officer is an excellent trauma counselor…very patient, methodic and kind. A true example of PROTECTING and SERVING! I hope he was commended for his tenderness in this situation. KUDOS, Officer. I just hope this child is okay!!!

I was silent like this as a child as a result of being seriously neglected/abused and my "mother" would tell people I was a manipulator for not speaking. it was obvious I was unwell, my hair was always matted & I had filthy clothing on, always sick. nobody helped me & I don't trust anyone til this day.

The 2 youngest are together in foster care and gaining weight, looking good and returning to normal hobbies, riding bikes, etc... see 20/20 from this week

@@eileenmcdonald1599 They got their range of what they can be given. But it could be the bare minimum or up to 30 years. 60 years? But the sentencing board decides how long they remain in jail.
What have I missed? What. Have. I. Missed. The judge should have been the one to give them final notice. Not some parole board. Period.
Then it took EMS quite a while until they could persuade the child that it was safe to leave that closet. The child being just skin and bones. I hope the children are getting all available therapy.
