So many reviewers miss the point of the third row in my opinion. you nailed it. For us, just having it there for the odd trip with extra kids is invaluable. And with the second row leg room, once you move that row forward it's very useable.
Totally get what you're saying! The third row is a game-changer for those unexpected situations. And you're right, it's all about maximizing space and flexibility. Glad you found it valuable!
@@AutomotiveWoman literally had 7 in the car yesterday doing school drop-off after my sister's car broke down. Now there wasn't a whole heap of room but everyone was comfortable
Living in Finland I got rid of my diesel vehicle and bought an Outlander PHEV. 1) no more diesel tax saved nearly €600 per year on that 2) my road tax went from €560 to €121 because it's a PHEV 3) 14,000km costs €146 in electricity.
Just a little tip with the phev...save the ev mode for town and use the engine over 90kmh. You will then get like 1l/100km. If you use up all the ev first then you'll likely be forced to use the engine around town which is the least efficient.
Thanks for review, can you please tell me when I turn on only start button on my phev it comes on with steering wheel warning sign is it normal? It goes away when I turn vehicle fully on
In my area, the price difference is almost $14k. Quebec and Canada give a combined $10k incentive. So for about $4k more its really worth getting the phev
@lagvin719ify in quebec, it's 5k from federal and 5k from provincial. I did make a small mistake with my calculations as the rebate is after taxes so the difference is abit more than 4k.I went to John scotti in montreal and ordered the gt premium. They offered winter tires for $1500. I said no thanks. All I want is the rain covers for the windows. In quebec any fees have to be on the sticker tag.
Thank for the good comparison. Does gas model have massage seats as well or is it only in PHEV? I couldn't catch that. Unfortunately PHEV is not available where I live.
Hi Nick, both models I reviewed had the same features. Except their powertrain options of course. The vehicles I reviewed were in Canada. What country are you in and city? Which model (trim level) are u considering, and I'll ask my associates at Mitsubishi HQ if it includes massaging seats. Thanks for watching. Juliana
@@AutomotiveWoman I'm living in the State of Qatar as an expatriate. I'm planning to buy the highest trim with gas powered engine. I'm looking for an update mainly for improved comfort so massage seats are a nice and important perk for me 😊 I'd appreciate if you could recommend another option as well. I don't need 7 seats particularly. I'd keep them folded if I have them. I'm just looking for a large and comfortable ride. thanks a lot
Hi Steve! Great question... Any vehicle with EV power assistance is going to be better off the line. The PHEV is better than the CTV, and u can definitely notice a difference, but it's not whiplash different. The PHEV is more smooth and definitely quieter. I hope this helps you. Thanks for watching. Enjoy your weekend. Juliana 👍
Hey there! I'm doing well, thanks for asking. Comparing the Hyundai Elantra Hybrid and Toyota Corolla Hybrid sounds like a great idea! I'll definitely add this to the queue of reviews. Thanks for the suggestion!
Unfortunately where I live all dealerships are charging upwards of $6000 + OVER MSRP and then they try to ding you for additional "Dealer Fees" of almost another $2000 and that's from a factory order.
Would be nice to see a longer run like 200 miles and then do the conversion. The average would drop a lot for the phev vs the gas model would remain the same.
You've got a point there! Longer runs can give a more accurate picture, and the PHEV's electric mode can really shine on those longer trips. It's all about the real-world numbers!
The PhEV averages around 6L/100km in pure hybrid mode ie no battery remaining. Still more efficient than the ICE. Also it doesn't have a CVT - it's direct drive from the electric motors. The gasoline engine connects through a clutch and differential only - no gear box. Been driving one for over 12 months.
Hello! Great question - It all depends on the charge fee in your market/location. If I recall correctly, I spent less than $9 dollars Canadian at the time. Thanks for watching. Happy New Year. Juliana
Don't even bother. I have a level 2 charger that is 240 volts, 20 amps. Charges to full from empty in about 7 hours and costs about 1.50 at BC Hydro rates. Just drive on gas when you go past your range and try to keep about 15 to 20 kms in reserve. Who has time to fool around lining up and waiting at charging stations?
The monthly insurance is way too high for these phev cars in ontario..they say the repair costs are higher..and its really high compared to the gas cars..so am i saving...😢

No matter the vehicle, nothing looks as good as the reviewer. 🔥
Wow! Thanks soooooo much. That's very kind of you to say. Happy Friday. Juliana 🤗

Great review 😍. I would pick the PHEV.
Great pick!

Great comment! Thanks for sharing. 👍
is it 10K? I thought it was only 7K. the only problem is that most dealer will try to add up a lot of extras so that the rebate is almost nothing

Great comparison 👏🏻. You look beautiful ❤. Your videos are always pleasant to watch 😍.
Thank you so much!! Enjoy the weekend.
Nice review! Love it. Do you know why some of them don’t come with the Outlander logo in the front?
Hi! Not sure why some have the logo upfront and others don't. Thanks for watching. Juliana
In-depth and helpful reviews
Thank you!! 🤗

Is the difference in acceleration minimal or really noticeable?

Hello Juliana. How Are You Can You Make A Comparison Vs Hyundai Elantra Hybrid And Toyota Corolla Hybrid And Can You Edit Your Video ON HDR 4k

Hello Juliana. Nice comparison. The choice? The same one you made.👍
Hi Victor! Great minds think a little. Enjoy your weekend my friend. 😘

I love that suv❤
My brother and his wife enjoy their Outlander as well! Thanks for watching. Juliana

They are one of the better ones, but all the warrantees are expensive and they all ready have problems with the charging receptacle door lock.
Thanks for sharing your opinion, Paul. Juliana
How much does it cost to charge at a charge station

Too bad the phev no longer qualifies for any credits/tebates here in the states😢
