Welcome to Australia :) You can check out Echo Beach on Tallebudgera Creek which is located in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. Just went there yesterday and man it was beautiful ✌And of course, stop over in Brisbane, go for a city stroll and eat at Pochana Thai restaurant for these cravings 🤣
Northern rivers nsw is beautiful 😍. I lived in Iluka where there's magical beaches and the national park for camping. In the far south of nsw check out Tathra and surrounding areas a favourite camping spot is Aragunnu campground. Going north there's many places... Northern nsw Mullumbimby is a cool town nearby Brunswick Heads is awesome and before you leave nsw make sure to climb Mount Warning for an epic day; actually every time I return to Australia via Brisbane it's the first thing I do. Further north town of 1770 is one of many favourite spots. Yes way up north Cape Tribulation is amazing Daintree national Park is incredible. Depending how long you plan to travel the East Coast is very big!!!
Don’t know if they still do this, but “Reef Teach” in Cairns was pretty cool! They teach you about the fish and other living organisms in the Great Barrier Reef, and it’s pretty cool to see how it all connects when you’re diving/snorkeling in the GBR the next day! Atherton Tablelands for some rainforest walks. Just be careful of all the critters. As for food, check out Koi in Sydney. Reynold from Master Chef Australia opened up that dessert bar, and they look amazing! If you’re able to, get to some dark-sky country, and just look up. It’s still one of the most memorable things I’ve seen in my life, and I know there’s no way I could ever recreate that feeling.
Welcome to Sydney Josh and Lisa and enjoy your stay here . Firstly apologies for the awful weather. This rain has been around all of three or four days and prior to that the weather was sensational. Let's hope for beach weather by the weekend :) Due to the last two years and people being requested to work from home you will find life around the Sydney Central Business District and the nearby Rocks area strangely quiet. It never used to be that way and hopefully will recover in time. If you are looking for a really good 'dog's eye' Aussie for meat pie then make your way down to Wooloomooloo Bay and the famous Harry's Cafe de Wheels. Excellent food there especially after a few pints at the local pub. Short of that you will see petrol stations around that advertise and sell Pie Face pies of all different varieties and I can safely say they are miles better than those 7 11 pies for around the same price. I have subscribed and look forward to being part of your travels. Cheers :)
hi Steven! no need for the apologies :) we sure hope we didn't bring the rain! hopefully it'll start looking up for everyone!! thank you for the recommendations!! we stopped by Harry's Cafe de Wheels in Newcastle (made us forgot all about those 7 11 pies! hah) but now we want to check out the one in Wooloomooloo Bay!! thanks for watching and subscribing!!! cheers :)
Can’t believe you’re leaving Thailand already. Feels like you just got there to me. But, you are going to another amazing place. I did the East Coast of Australia years ago. So enjoy watching your travels. I just started making plans myself. One day, I hope to run into the two of you. Love your postings.
three months in Thailand flew by sooo quickly!! Australia east coast has always been a bucket list place of ours to visit :) Where do your plans take you first? :) thanks for watching!
My wife and I rented from Travellers Autobarn and I highly recommend them. The vehicle was great, price was very affordable, no surprises, no up-charges at the end. We drove our RV 17,000 kilometers since they rent with unlimited mileage.
Thank you for visit our country. Hope you’re happy and enjoy Thailand. Hope you’ll return in the future to explore more. Wish you good luck in further destinations.
Welcome to Australia! We are so happy to have you! 🥰 I am so glad that you captured the emotions of our border opening. It’s been a looooong 2+ years! 😢 I look forward to following your Aussie adventures!
Hey guys! A little tip. I saw you have the EU vaccination passes, you can scan them with the CovPass app and then you have them stored on your phone and the app also can create a new PDF file, so that you can use that for a visa or to print it. Hope you are goin to have a great time! Enjoy life!
thanks for the tip! we were hoping to grab the ferry while in Sydney, but the time and weather weren't agreeing with us--but will definitely try to do this on our way back down!
Hi Guys and welcome to Sydney!! You seriously have to visit the Blue Mountains for gorgeous scenery and hiking. Katoomba, Blackheath and Megalong Valley to name a few spots. Spend a little time at the Nepean River Penrith on your way up to the Blue Mountains; about a cruisey 45 min drive. Now if you head south to Victoria, a MUST scenic drive is the Great Ocean Road taking you to the 12 Apostles and Port Campbell. Geelong is another beautiful city you will love at this time of year, and has much to see and do. Its around 45 minutes drive south of Melbourne. If you would like more suggestions let me know. G'day and enjoy my beautiful country

I was stalking you guys everywhere you went in Thailand. Now you came to where I live. You’re stalking me now?! 😱
haha great minds think alike?!?
Welcome to Australia. If your planning a stop in Newcastle 2 hrs up the coast from Sydney DM me a place to park hot shower and a tour guide live to meet you been following you guys since you were in Venice 🌹🇦🇺
hi Judy! Thank you for the sweet offer and following us on journey! we had a quick pit stop in Newcastle to grab a pie, but sadly had to keep rolling to make it to our campground before they closed! wished we had more time to say hi!
@@LisaAndJosh shame I didn’t get my message to you earlier as you could have parked up at mine I’m walking distance to the beaches and harbour would have been free accom also we haven’t had a great deal of rain. Hoping the flooding up north doesn’t interfere with your trip too much. You’ve been travelling the world so I’m sure you’ll handle the rain 🌧🌹🇦🇺
