would love to see a side by side test of a 9006-as vs bass boss equivalent, I love the sound of the RCF but I feel like you could get more output out of a box that size
Bassboss seems like an amazing brand but it’s just hard to come up with those funds for average DJ but perhaps they’re not for the average dj! I got to here the DJ18 at DJX for the kids cafe and man I immediately was impressed
That's because you're probably comparing to the QSC, RCF, Electro Voice etc. These are meant to compare to Meyer, Martin Audio, KV2 etc If you look at it that way It's incredibly cheap. Bass Boss makes it possible for the average person to get their hands on top tier tour grade quality systems for a quarter of the price of competing brands with the added benefit of being smaller, powered and developed with very high standards in mind.
@@alfredw12 I was under the impression JBL rider friendly tour quality boxes, same for EV x1 series and rcf TT stuff which is similar price to bassboss
I just bought a rig from bass boss and to get a comparable rig from Void, Funktion1, or Element5 was 2x-3x more. Hennessy Sound and Meyer were 4x-5x. For high level gear bass boss is CRAZY affordable.

The real question is. Is it true that subwoofers in a monostack actually hit lower?
