I remember a time when Laila was debating whether or not to begin singing in her performances. Can you believe it? Thanks for this song, Laila. Thanks for singing about the Word who became a man.
Hello. Sitting here in LA and the track you sing on "The best is yet to come" came on the radio station 88.1. I have to say it stopped me in my tracks. I am blown away by how good you guys are. Please let me know if you are performing live or if there is a link I can go to to find out. Amazing job working in the bells. I played the bells/glockenspiel in HS orchestra and band. I can tell you have alot of percussion knowledge
Thank you! We hope to play in LA soon. We usually post about it on Facebook and Twitter, if you're on those platforms. facebook.com/LAILABIALIMUSIC twitter.com/lailabiali Stay in touch!
Joe Smith - At the highest level of musicianship I don't think 'improvement; is an appropriate term to use. You are right - but all that needs changing is 'cover' to 'arrangement'. Then everyone is happy :)
Listening to this at 7:50 in the morning as the storm has just passed, just beautiful.
An exquisite version. Thank you Laila for giving this to the world and to Leonard before he died.
He will be missed more than words can express. Thank you for your lovely comment.
Indeed he is missed and will continue to be missed.
(Joe) This song , your Quarantunes, Out of Dust Interviews, and i fall in love again with this lady.
What an exquisite rendition of this beautiful song! Delightful to incorporate the glockenspiel. And lovely vocals too.
More Cohen covers please. This and Anthem are great.
