Montreal is too far. But one day I would like to train with Professor Firaz.
(I prefer private lessons with Professors)

Interesting tool. I saw similar tools available from IHP when ‘SAID’ was becoming mainstream. It would appear that the movements you demonstrated are developing isometric contractions in joint ranges specific to various grappling techniques. But power is not being ‘trained’. I will never compare my expertise to yours, coach, in the realm of grappling. But, I am knowledgeable enough in strength training to see that this device appears to be helpful only in small windows of an overall training cycle. Or as a novel drill that could be applied during specific practice periods. However, I look forward to further demonstrations with your device and possibly a hypothesis to demonstrate the ‘trainable’ potential of this sports-specific equipment.

I was a 10 year competitive tennis player (bear with me here) turned BJJ practitioner. Rotation hitting a tennis groundstroke millions of times through the years has made me naturally gravitate towards the Kimura rotational motion to get the finish. It’s just so natural to me.
