It's called dandurma in turkey and I've tasted both the syrian version and the turkish version and i can say from personal experience that the syrian one is better. Also i guess you're talking about what we call sahleb over here it's almost the same ingredients but with cinnamon and other spices and people drink it when it s warm.

Growing up with a Jordanian mom, any time I asked what's for dinner she'd sarcastically reply to me and tell me that we are having sahlab. Definitely gonna share this one with my mom. She'll get a kick out of your video.
We actually either drink the initial mixture after it boils in Winter nights and call it Sahlab, or refrigerate it so it becomes a pudding we call muhallabeyyeh in the middle east specifically in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine. And of course we have the choice of turning it into booza :)
