Also there is another narration about Miraj, which supports time travel, which states that Prophet Muhammad SWT performed Wudu right before the journey, and water that fell on the ground, and moving down slope in line, was still moving down slope in the same water line, when Prophet Muhammad SWT, returned. And also, the door lock chain , was still moving back and forth, when Prophet Muhammad SWT returned. This explains the travel was so fast, almost instantaneous, which is faster than speed of light. That is the only time when time on Earth, feels like it stopped, which it would feel like everyone around is stopped, motionless, when you traveling so fast, scientifically speaking. And winged horse, was the best to put it, a form of Space travel vehicle, definitely. And Angel Jibrael, A.H., as Angels are Made of Noor, which is light, it is very likely, they are able to travel faster than light, and could have travelled without needing any vehicle, but for a human being, with physical bodies like normal human beings, that can not travel like light, need some sort of Vehicle, to travel. And this is probably also to prove to future human beings, like us, that a Space Travel Vehicle was utilized, and space travel as we know, is only possible if we travel faster than light. For muslims, Allah Ta'aala made the whole Earth a place of sajood (prostration or mosque) except the place of burial and the bathrooms or toilets. Generally, when one sees the word Masjid, one straight away imagines a built up structure. These were later built to protect the congregation from Sunand rain while praying. But the real meaning of masjid is a place of sajood or prostration during prayers.😊

Prophet Muhammad pbuh made a journey to meet Allah SWT. This day was called Mihraj, Specially the journey was very important to get a solution from Allah to reduce the 50 times daily prayers, because the Muslim ummah will find difficult to perform the prayers. Therefore Muhammad pbuh took this message to Allah SWT a request made by Moosa AS to Muhammad pbuh mentioning that 50 times prayers cannot be fulfilled by the Muslim ummah. Muhammad pbuh met Allah and asked to reduce to 5times daily prayers.With the permission of Allah SWT it was reduced to 5 times daily prayers. Alhamdulillah!

Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., the most beloved and favored by Almighty ALLAH S.W.T., was given the title as "The Rahmatun lil Alameen" (The Mercy to all Creations), in his Isra wal Miradz, from Masjidul Haram, The Holy Mosque in Makka to Masjidul Aqsa, The Holy Mosque in Jerusalem as part of his Physical and Spiritual Night Ascension to meet his beloved Creator, (The Almighty ALLAH S.W.T.). I've learned from a lot of scholarly and learned Muslim personalites that accordingly, Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., was told by Prophet Musa A.S. to go back and request Almighty ALLAH S.W.T., to significantly, reduce the originally required number of prayers from 50 to just 5x! Just my thought and my take, can Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.W., not know better what is installed to his Ummah, and can he not better understand the future ahead when he was already given knowledge by Almighty ALLAH S.W.T. so, with this blessed gift, why a need for him to go back and forth accordingly 5x or a lot of times to request Almighty ALLAH S.W.T. in that important concern. Indeed, Prophet Mosa A.S., is our Prophet too, but, rationally and logically, our Noble Prophet knows the wide expanse of knowledge and what is good for his entire Ummah, as he is the Rahmatun lil Alameen and he is the most beloved and most knowledgeable of all the Prophets A.S. Would it be necessary for him to go back and forth to ALLAH S.W.T., and not just make a one time request on that important obligations imposed upon the Muslim Ummah. The prophet that night slept at Umme Hani's place and she said about this matter that he never left her house. Also, Prophet SawS never mentioned many things about this travel.
Yes, As-haabul Kahaf, slept in cave for 300 Solar Years, and exceeded by 9 is for Lunar years, 309 Lunar years. So both dates are valid. 100 solar years = 103 Lunar Years, and 300 Solar Years = 309 Lunar years, as we now know. So Quran is the true revelation from Allah SWT. Subhan Allah.

The topic of Miraj has always made me inquisitive and desperate. The basic question that comes to my mind is the literal meaning of Miraj. I don't know if the Mirage word has some relationship with the Arabic Miraj. When I was 13 I revised my faith considering I thought it is not necessary to follow one's parents in faith. I wanted to be a Muslim by "conviction". I did and I am a Muslim by "conviction". I strongly believe that Prophet Mohammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) physically traveled by divine intervention. Science is limited to the speed of light. There is another source of light that is faster than the visible light. Similarly, the wormholes do exist, and I agree that Jibreel navigated the journey through certain wormholes and the medium of travel used must have been the fastest that modern science cannot comprehend. I wish I got the opportunity to research the topic and send the rest of my life doing that to understand Miraj.

Assalamu Alaikum What if Allah swt stop the time after the Isra,during the ascension. Prophet pbuh also had long talk with Allah swt about salah etc and ,when prophet pbuh was coming met Ibrahim pbuh. He prophet pbuh had to go back few times to shorten the salah How much authentic is this saying. Isra and Mikraj to me is a very important event. It was a travel through time. But to start with, who can even define or explain what is TIME? What is the nature, essence of time? It is a jaw dropping question. Can anybody tell me what time is? How does time exist? Can you manipulate time as you manipulate your wrist watches?
Time does not have a physical body, it is something that flows from one point to another. The definition of time is the period that passes between events. Yes, you can manipulate time with velocity. The faster you travel, the slower your wristwatch will run. This is already proven with empirical evidence.
Many prophet had honor to speak with Allah swt including musa alehessalam and he alehessalam wanted to see and witness his lord but Allah only gave this honor only to prophet Muhammad alehessalam and Allah says in the Quran " my servant saw what was shown to him and his eyes didn't distract" and there was left distance of 2 bow (pointing eye brows).

Dr Omer Atilla Ergi knows the word burraq- it's not exactly light- but my understanding is "continuously growing light" - "something that starts at the speed of light and then grows"- now this need to be connected with verse 15 of Surah Ar-Rahman- talking about "creation of Jinn from smokeless fire"- now this smokeless seems a bit confusing translation - perhaps it should be some form of light/fire invisible to human eyes .. Like in burning candles a blank space is seen - of course there are reasons explaining this phenomenon but surely something like this.
Please know that the Quran says: two different writings for "The word to see physical in our eyes the word write "رأ" and to see with the heart and/or the dream the word Allah mentioned regarding the Mi'rraj is "رأئ" Please read the Quran to see for yourself. It was a physical journey if you follow ahl al sunnah. If you follow something else, you can believe what you wish. If you claim that you follow ahl al sunnah, then you are in dalalat by denying it.

Mohammed subah sumuhadiwijojo also experienced assention to heaven twice during his life. He was born on a day celebrated as the prophets birthday and died on a day celebrated as the prophets death day. He wrote a number of books and one of those books he describes his jurney through part of the universe. He added clarity to the explanation of those who have this experience.

Yes they were… Masjid al Haram was build by Abraham 5 thousand years ago, Masjid al Aqsa was originally built by David and then completed by Solomon. Is was destroyed by Romans in 70 CE but the ruins were still there. Moreover, Al Aqsa is a large area, it is not just one Mosque.

It was physical unless you do not follow ah al Sunnah. Surah Isra says, “we took our servant from Masjid al Haram to Masjid Al Aqsa. What does “take” mean to you? If it was a dream why would the Mushriks challenge it, like the way you are challenging it now.
Some of the things you said made lot3of sense but some which you quoted from Hadith (and you mix weak and strong Hadith) contradict Quran especially about Prophet Muhammad PBUH seeing Allah. As Muslims we believe that Allah has the power to do anything, so taking anyone on a tour of the universe within a very short time is not a problem for Allah. So we don't need to find justifications from our limited knowledge. Since Miraj is not mentioned in Quran, we should not insist that it was a physical experience. It could have been physical or spiritual. It's not so important.

Saba'a Samaawaat are the seven stages of man's journey on earth. It's the seven levels of understanding we acquire passing through each phase or trials in life. It's not seven physical heavens stacked on top of another above. Rather, it's the cognative perception we perceive in this material world and conscientise that knowledge from the left hemisphere of the brain to the right side, the spiritual hemisphere, where the Arsh of ALLAH exist. Kursi is simply the physical brain. To say beloved Muhammad left this earthly station to meet ALLAH, is negating and belieing the fact that HE is omnipresent, who can be called upon anyrime by anyone who is in remembrance of HIS Mercy wherever you turn your face. So, it can never be a physical journey but rather a spiritual one. All these superficial and supernatural fairytale events, are all copied from Biblical sources by Muslim scholars which crept into the "books of hadeeth and tafseer." Also there is another narration about Miraj, which supports time travel, which states that Prophet Muhammad SWT performed Wudu right before the journey, and water that fell on the ground, and moving down slope in line, was still moving down slope in the same water line, when Prophet Muhammad SWT, returned. And also, the door lock chain , was still moving back and forth, when Prophet Muhammad SWT returned. This explains the travel was so fast, almost instantaneous, which is faster than speed of light.
That is the only time when time on Earth, feels like it stopped, which it would feel like everyone around is stopped, motionless, when you traveling so fast, scientifically speaking. And winged horse, was the best to put it, a form of Space travel vehicle, definitely. And Angel Jibrael, A.H., as Angels are Made of Noor, which is light, it is very likely, they are able to travel faster than light, and could have travelled without needing any vehicle, but for a human being, with physical bodies like normal human beings, that can not travel like light, need some sort of Vehicle, to travel. This all makes sense.
And this is probably also to prove to future human beings, like us, that a Space Travel Vehicle was utilized, and space travel as we know, is only possible if we travel faster than light. Ordinary people 1400 years ago, had no concept of speed of light, and time travel, yet, this all happened, because it is from Allah SWT, and for the people of that time, it was an analogy of Winged Horse, to describe that vehicle, and for us its a Space Ship, and both analogies work, one for the people 1400 years ago, and one for modern human being of today and the future. For your kind information, the word Masjid means the place of Sajood (prostration). The Ayat talks of the place of Sajood in Makkah to the place of Sajood in Jerusalem.
Sajood was part of Every Prophets Prayer from the time of Adam Alai Salaam to the Final Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam.

For muslims, Allah Ta'aala made the whole Earth a place of sajood (prostration or mosque) except the place of burial and the bathrooms or toilets.
Generally, when one sees the word Masjid, one straight away imagines a built up structure. These were later built to protect the congregation from Sunand rain while praying. But the real meaning of masjid is a place of sajood or prostration during prayers.😊

Prophet Muhammad pbuh made a journey to meet Allah SWT. This day was called Mihraj, Specially the journey was very important to get a solution from Allah to reduce the 50 times daily prayers, because the Muslim ummah will find difficult to perform the prayers. Therefore Muhammad pbuh took this message to Allah SWT a request made by Moosa AS to Muhammad pbuh mentioning that 50 times prayers cannot be fulfilled by the Muslim ummah. Muhammad pbuh met Allah and asked to reduce to 5times daily prayers.With the permission of Allah SWT it was reduced to 5 times daily prayers. Alhamdulillah!

Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., the most beloved and favored by Almighty ALLAH S.W.T., was given the title as "The Rahmatun lil Alameen" (The Mercy to all Creations), in his Isra wal Miradz, from Masjidul Haram, The Holy Mosque in Makka to Masjidul Aqsa, The Holy Mosque in Jerusalem as part of his Physical and Spiritual Night Ascension to meet his beloved Creator, (The Almighty ALLAH S.W.T.). I've learned from a lot of scholarly and learned Muslim personalites that accordingly, Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., was told by Prophet Musa A.S. to go back and request Almighty ALLAH S.W.T., to significantly, reduce the originally required number of prayers from 50 to just 5x! Just my thought and my take, can Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.W., not know better what is installed to his Ummah, and can he not better understand the future ahead when he was already given knowledge by Almighty ALLAH S.W.T. so, with this blessed gift, why a need for him to go back and forth accordingly 5x or a lot of times to request Almighty ALLAH S.W.T. in that important concern. Indeed, Prophet Mosa A.S., is our Prophet too, but, rationally and logically, our Noble Prophet knows the wide expanse of knowledge and what is good for his entire Ummah, as he is the Rahmatun lil Alameen and he is the most beloved and most knowledgeable of all the Prophets A.S. Would it be necessary for him to go back and forth to ALLAH S.W.T., and not just make a one time request on that important obligations imposed upon the Muslim Ummah. Assalam o alaikum, so the two deaths were very hard on our prophet , no doubts but also the episode of Ta'af was a heart wrenching one , immediately after these demises of beloved Khadija and hus uncke, Abu Talib, hence Allah gave the prophet a beautiful gift; gift of Meraj, to heal his sadden heart.

Yes, As-haabul Kahaf, slept in cave for 300 Solar Years, and exceeded by 9 is for Lunar years, 309 Lunar years. So both dates are valid. 100 solar years = 103 Lunar Years, and 300 Solar Years = 309 Lunar years, as we now know. So Quran is the true revelation from Allah SWT. Subhan Allah.

The topic of Miraj has always made me inquisitive and desperate. The basic question that comes to my mind is the literal meaning of Miraj. I don't know if the Mirage word has some relationship with the Arabic Miraj. When I was 13 I revised my faith considering I thought it is not necessary to follow one's parents in faith. I wanted to be a Muslim by "conviction". I did and I am a Muslim by "conviction".
I strongly believe that Prophet Mohammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) physically traveled by divine intervention. Science is limited to the speed of light. There is another source of light that is faster than the visible light. Similarly, the wormholes do exist, and I agree that Jibreel navigated the journey through certain wormholes and the medium of travel used must have been the fastest that modern science cannot comprehend. I wish I got the opportunity to research the topic and send the rest of my life doing that to understand Miraj.

Isra and Mikraj to me is a very important event. It was a travel through time. But to start with, who can even define or explain what is TIME? What is the nature, essence of time? It is a jaw dropping question. Can anybody tell me what time is? How does time exist? Can you manipulate time as you manipulate your wrist watches?
Time does not have a physical body, it is something that flows from one point to another. The definition of time is the period that passes between events.
Yes, you can manipulate time with velocity. The faster you travel, the slower your wristwatch will run.
This is already proven with empirical evidence.
Many prophet had honor to speak with Allah swt including musa alehessalam and he alehessalam wanted to see and witness his lord but Allah only gave this honor only to prophet Muhammad alehessalam and Allah says in the Quran " my servant saw what was shown to him and his eyes didn't distract" and there was left distance of 2 bow (pointing eye brows).

Dr Omer Atilla Ergi knows the word burraq- it's not exactly light- but my understanding is "continuously growing light" - "something that starts at the speed of light and then grows"- now this need to be connected with verse 15 of Surah Ar-Rahman- talking about "creation of Jinn from smokeless fire"- now this smokeless seems a bit confusing translation - perhaps it should be some form of light/fire invisible to human eyes .. Like in burning candles a blank space is seen - of course there are reasons explaining this phenomenon but surely something like this.
Please know that the Quran says: two different writings for "The word to see physical in our eyes the word write "رأ"
and to see with the heart and/or the dream the word Allah mentioned regarding the Mi'rraj is "رأئ"

Mohammed subah sumuhadiwijojo also experienced assention to heaven twice during his life. He was born on a day celebrated as the prophets birthday and died on a day celebrated as the prophets death day. He wrote a number of books and one of those books he describes his jurney through part of the universe. He added clarity to the explanation of those who have this experience.
This kind of travel is in time going to future, the infinity where all creation in nature is. What we call it Monotheism.

Masjid al Haram was build by Abraham 5 thousand years ago, Masjid al Aqsa was originally built by David and then completed by Solomon. Is was destroyed by Romans in 70 CE but the ruins were still there.

Some of the things you said made lot3of sense but some which you quoted from Hadith (and you mix weak and strong Hadith) contradict Quran especially about Prophet Muhammad PBUH seeing Allah. As Muslims we believe that Allah has the power to do anything, so taking anyone on a tour of the universe within a very short time is not a problem for Allah. So we don't need to find justifications from our limited knowledge. Since Miraj is not mentioned in Quran, we should not insist that it was a physical experience. It could have been physical or spiritual. It's not so important.

Saba'a Samaawaat are the seven stages of man's journey on earth. It's the seven levels of understanding we acquire passing through each phase or trials in life. It's not seven physical heavens stacked on top of another above.
Rather, it's the cognative perception we perceive in this material world and conscientise that knowledge from the left hemisphere of the brain to the right side, the spiritual hemisphere, where the Arsh of ALLAH exist. Kursi is simply the physical brain.

The quran says Mohammad took night journey to meet Allah Chapter 17:1-2.* The journey took place reportedly in 621CE, one year before Hijra, flight to Medina (622 CE)
Mohammad during journey stopped at Mosque in Jerusalem, the furthest mosque as per quran, and then went in flying donkey, al Burraq, to meet Allah.
Question: there were no mosque in 621 C.E. in Jerusalem, simply because there were no Müslïms in 621C.E. in Jerusalem. møhamMãd had only 75 followers in 621C.E. and all of them were in Mecca. The earliest record of mosque in Jerusalem was in 709 CE, nearly 100 years after Muhammad's death. So which is the mosque mentioned in Qur'an.
Answer: Al Aqsa was built 3,000 years ago by Dawud and then his son Sulaiman.

Jesus then prayed, and when he fell on his face on the ground his followers went away to watch out for the soldiers who were chasing them. That was when Jesus was ascended into heaven.
