i think they called him that because the first casts done of his footprints were very large. still weird tho
Well, the main thing that is documented are footprints, which are pretty PHUKIN' big, nearly 14 inches long or BIGGER.
Used to live in PA up on the very southern tip of the Appalachian Trail and was having a friend over one night and we decided to sleep outside in the barn we had for our horses- it was thought of as a tent that we didn't have to set up and it was basically a metal house, lol.
It wasn't that cold out so it was fine- later that night we hear what sounded like a pig being ripped apart by something.
Well, like most farms, we had an electric fence around the pasture. Now, if you don't understand how bad that shit HURTS, it HURTS. Like, BAD, lol.
We didn't put 2 and 2 together until the next morning, we went down to see what could've made the sound, only to find BIG footprints coming out of the woods, across a little trail running between the fence and wood line and up to the fence.
Now, what was weird, these footprints were HUGE. Like, our shoes were DWARFED inside these prints.
We didn't have a camera, or any plaster to make a cast, but I did have a witness and my dad who didn't believe until that day, that something was in those woods.
To this day we have NO proof as to what was there, but I firmly believe that a creature like that exists and was on my property.
