I had one when I was homeless it saved me so many times when needing to make fires for food and warmth. Both flames worked on mine but I had to fix it often due to it being stored outside with me. All products have issues sometimes but the majority of these work perfect guys. I highly recommend getting it for emergencies or camping or a back up for any fire needing situations.
I bought this thing a year ago at a garage sale and couldn’t figure how to start it! Was going to toss it but figure I’d watch a video..it works great! Thanks!!
I have this same torch, it's the best hand torch I've had, I've had it for a long time tho and it wont light on it's own anymore, I have to light it with a lighter, still a good torch tho
I was wondering what the air switch as for, I use this for creme brulee, had it for years but never knew what the point of that switch was for, would make it good for lighting candles, I tried it once without the air switch and it made my candle black. Thank you for the video.
What I'm trying to find out is, why does it look like the outer ring of the refill valve look like it can be turned using a flathead screw driver. Can that 'ring' be tightened or loosened? If so, what would the purpose be?
Hello I used this torch for Creme Brule but after a few ramakins it stopped? Do you know if it has a safety delay? Also when do you know if the torch is full of propane? Thanks Lynn
I have the exact same BernzOmatic mini torch but it won't allow me to move the top switch back and forth why why won't it allow me to use this thing on top that slides forward and cigarette lighter comes out it won't move when I push forward on the nozzle it won't move? Stuck stuck?
The flame adjustment is way to much for most thing and the raised finger control wheel knob stops it from adjusting it lower . To get a shorter flame you have to cut back the plastic that the knob hits so its free to turn more to lower the flame . I use this torch to smooth out wax on dentures so the flame has to be a lot smaller. Then you can also move the air control on the top and adjust the air flow to lower it even more so it comes out with a little yellow at the tip like a lighter would look if you wanted to use it as a lighter . I just made a spacer to hold the air adjustment at the setting I like for flaming wax so it smooths the wax and not melt the wax .
How am I supposed to use something that won't move it won't move do you know why it won't move I can't figure out why my thumbs are killing me please if you have any suggestions or advice or anyting I'd appreciate it thank you
@@johnghacemi7434 that simply means your model doesn’t have that feature. It’s a newer feature because of the “no ignite” issue they constantly had. It’s a verrry easy thing to push forward so if you’re trying that hard…it doesn’t have it. Read your manual it shows you proper use of the torch. Advice I’d give to people before they make RUclips video about a thing they obviously didn’t ready “why” it has certain features. It also makes it easier to hand light it when the soldering tip is on because it allows for preheating. The burner inside that way when you’re soldering you don’t need an actual flame.

Thanks for posting! I've watched four other vids and you're the first to show how to release the safety latch. Yay!
You are filling it up completely wrong you have to turn the butane upside down so the tip of the butane is pointing down .
No wonder mine doesn't work so u have to put the brutane in before using. Thanks for the video. I was ready to take it back.
Now that's how you make a helpful video, right to the point
Couldn’t figure out for the life of me how to start this thing. Appreacite the video!!
Butane cans need to be held upside down when filling

Supposed to fill butane upside down. You just filled your lighter with co2 I'm pretty sure lol
Good demo, but you didn't adjust the flame size, shucks.
It's not cigarette lighter mode LOL.. that is an air release valve, use it if the torch wont light.

Does it come empty? I just got mine today
They're all empty brand new. Buy the butane separate.
@@greensky438 thanks I figured. I had some anyway didn't wanna mess it up. one more question... what's the button at the top?
Mines 100 % identical to yours but why can't my cigarette lighter work???
Thanks
