When I was a meat eater I loved sausage gravy on biscuits or hash browns. Now I love cinnamon steel cut oats with blueberries and pecans and a splash of pistachio milk.

A few of my favorite breakfast foods are cereal with Almond milk, waffles, pancakes, French toast, eggs (in different ways and ingredients), hash browns, home fries, bacon, sausages, Jamaican breakfast different varieties of Jamaican breakfast foods), etc... Beverages for breakfast sometimes coffee with extra cream and sugar, orange juice, hot chocolate and any other beverages and water. I only drink tea when I'm sick. Tea isn't my favorite.

One of our Jamaican breakfast meal is ackee (which is Jamaica's national fruit but it looks like scrambled eggs when it's cooked with bell peppers, tomatoes, onions and seasonings and it doesn't taste like a fruit flavor either) and saltfish or you can have it without saltfish and substitute for something else like diced up cooked bacon. And we usually eat it with fried dumplings, fried plantains, cabbage or boiled green banana, boiled dumplings, yam, or roasted bread fruit or white rice or fried festival ( which is like a long shaped version of dumplings and sweeter than dumplings) you can even have it with bread
The omelet looked bomb💣! My mother made biscuits, gravy, bacon sausage, tenderloin, grits and made to order eggs every Saturday morning. Sometimes country ham and red eye gravy but normally she made gravy from bacon grease. I miss her alot. That's my comfort food.💖
Yumeka 'Vadam she sounds amazing!!! I actually didn’t have a lot of American base breakfast foods growing up. It was always vietnamese food. The closest thing to breakfast was fried runny eggs with garlic and soy sauce, a nice warm toasted French bread to dip all the sauce up. Moms home cooking is always the best ❤️
