Assuming that they already have their np license? I've never seen a 2 year program, usually its 4.

Chamberlain University is a 2 year DNP program but you need a MSN to apply.

Can I go straight to Dnp with just a bsn? or should I finish my masters first?

Some schools have a BSN to DNP program... They might be longer than 2 years though. The thing with a BSN to DNP program is that you should check to see if there's a MSN exit just in case. Doing a BSN to DNP programs don't always ensure you will get a master's degree. Things happen and life happens. You never know when or if you will need to take a leave or move to another state and those credits don't normally transfer to another school so you are kind of stuck. At least if you have a program with a masters exit then you can always go to DNP school at a later time or in another state. My biggest advice is to do your homework on different programs. Good luck!
