Dude 87mm is fine English racing bore theirs at that no issues. You’ll be fine at 87 if not then some darton sleeves make sure they leave a lip at the bottom of the block so the new sleeve will rest there and does not slide down. Good luck!

6:47 Never do that with pneumatic or electric tools especially in older cars! Imagine snapped screw in crankshaft with glued part of it inside... Always use hands and long bar to remove crankshaft pulley screw.

Detonation will blow the lands off the piston. Check the exhaust valve stems for alloy build up - it can seize them in place which isn't good it its open at the time.
A tip for ya stand your cam shafts up when out of the engine gravity plays and effect on them

next time u strip the head of a bolt just wield a new nut on top of it works great same if u break a bolt some time if broke flush just wield a nut on it works great way faster then drilling and tapping it . this is an old school trick i learned it from old man bell building race engines

Those seats look like they may have been re upholstered at some point. I own a 14 gsr with factory leather and the partner is perforated not smooth like it is in that car. Also if memory serves me correctly the factory leather gsr cars also all have sun roofs which I didn't see on this one hope this helps!

Replace the stock liners and run stock 86mm forged pistons.. dont ever go 87mm, the block cracks under wot
