That yellow thingy on top of the halo-halo is leche flan. It is a mixture of egg yolk, condensed and evaporated milk, then steamed with caramelized sugar. Halo in Filipino means "to mix". Halo-halo is "mix-mix" 😂. You need to mix all the ingredients together to enjoy the halo-halo. It's like those ingredients having a party inside your mouth. 😋
Filipinos are so amazing..Wholesome feeling seeing this. Also there are many kids in the road enjoying there life.I wish one day I will take this hospitality of them

So happy with the people of Tondo, the streets are clean, the vendors food are hygienic. For those who didn't know Tondo is a district in the city of Manila, it's not dangerous as it used to be, it's big and colourful area.

Filipinos from other islands like Visayas and Mindanao migrated to Manila starting in the 60's without education while brought their whole families nowhere to start, only knew farming and fishing end up settling as illegal dwellers many in Tondo district. @@NadirOnTheGo Hi Nadir.. have a safe trip to Siargao. It is one of our best islands.. Hope you will have time to visit towns nearby Manila too like our place (Antipolo City in Rizal). This is more like mountain and lake views but only 1-2hrs away from Manila depending on the traffic. There are metro options too to go here. Our patron in Antipolo church is the Nuesta Señora de la Paz y buen viaje (Spanish for Our Lady of Peace and good voyage).. which is mostly visited by those who love to travel for good voyage. Aside from the church, there's also the Taktak falls, Mystical cave, Pinto Art Museum, and lots of cafes with stunning overlooking view.. 😊
This is the misconception people have about the Philippines. Yes, there are crimes..... But 99.9% of the time, they do not bother the tourists and foreigners. I always felt super safe in the Philippines anywhere I go. And the locals are super friendly
